Is This Amount of RAM Consumption is Normal ? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

I'm using 2 GB Variant of mido and I'm suffering from poor multitasking due to unavailability of less amount of RAM and when I check my memory usage it usually shows 1.7 GB Average Used but I have hibernated mostly all the user apps except WhatsApp. Is this amount of RAM usage normal eventhough in my previous phone Redmi Note 4G I always have 1.2 GB free on RR Rom and currently I'm using AOSP Extended Rom

I'm using Oxygen 2.0, with latest 35 kernel..now I know our phones aren't mega large ram phones but I am curious how can I find out which apps are using the 100-120mb of ram currently shown in the picture I've included...Does anyone know of a way I can monitor and decrease the amount of ram being used, usually with a2sd scripts I can get some descent fast performance with this phone...any app suggestions?

If you really, compulsively, need to reduce your RAM usage, you can try some apps that modify minfree values or try one of those supercharger tweaks.

Overheating and battery drain

Hi folks,
My SG2 i777 is hot most of the time and the battery last only 4-5 hours with very limited usage. I'm sure its not a battery problem because the phone is always between warm and hot. I normally carry a spare battery and the phone also last between 4-5 hours. I also tried to flash different roms and also did a clean install with ATT stock rom through Odin. At the moment, I'm using Supernexus 3 v1.0
I took screenshoots of the battery usage and also betterbatterystat. Do you know what is wrong with my phone?

[Q] Battery graph screen doesn't show apps

I'm on a rooted v2.3.4 phone.
The stock battery usage graph screen doesn't show any apps, only core Android elements like Phone Idle, WiFi, Display, etc.
It's not because apps didn't use enough CPU time.
Any idea how to fix it?
i think it's normal
i never saw apps in the battery usage screen
It definitely shows apps on Samsungs with v4, but I can't say I looked in depth on too many v2 devices.
Are you sure? It'd seem half-pointless. At least some screenshots on the web show apps on Android v2 (but I guess it could be a customized version):

dex2oat draining CPU and battery with it

Hello,
I have Lenovo A6000 with Android Lollipop and the CPU is currently overheating like hell, which also drains battery really fast. I attached the screenshot taken by another phone, bcs I just can't send or download it from Lenovo, well...because it's generally misbehaving and lagging. In the screenshot is a battery level plot and a list with processes with dex2oat process, which I think, is the cause of the problem. It' s been like this for over a day now I must've charged the battery ~10 times since then. Is there anything that can be done, or do I just factory reset it and carry on with my day? thank you
