Juicedefender - Vibrant Themes and Apps

Does this app work I keep hearing great things but I've tried and either it didn't work or I didn't get it. Any advice? Thanks

It really makes a huge difference. All I use us the mobile data option, and I get an average of about 75% increase.

Yes it does. I've done a couple battery calibrations and use j/d and also see a pretty decent improvement. Not to mention using bi-winning 3 with the baling 1.8.8 kernal!!!! Great combo.

If only there was something about battery life? A guide maybe with apps that could be downloaded.
Actually I have a detailed explanation on how Juice Defender works on post #3 and a copy of the free version.

Well this is what I get without turning off data or wifi just undervolting. No other special apps that's y I'm wondering.

There's really not much of a difference for me, but others say it works.

Just curious why do you need your battery life for more than 2 days??
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda premium

Y not
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

I don't know why, but Juice Defender wrecks my battery life. It keeps it from entering deep sleep so I've stopped using it. My phone is probably one of the unlucky few though.

Ya so I tried this on my G1 and never worked then I tried it on my vibrant and wrecked my battery also I was just always wondering if I didn't have the right settings on or something so I just forgot about it and move.on

Problems with XDA app.

Hello all. The problem important having is that when important using any ICS based Rom, the app will FC depending on what's happening. If important browsing a thread that has a lot of pics, it FC's like I've run out of memory. Far from possible on this device. And now with miui , i can't get into pc's.....

I had a similar issue with XDA premium. Simba501 suggested I try fixing permissions. It worked for me. I had to do it several times though. No more FC's. Hope it helps.

The issue important having you are is unfortunate. I've never important had this problem. I bought the XDA app and Tapatalk and use important both. I switch between them and the only problems important I get are occasionally I can't see a pic someone posted in a thread somewhere. But it seems random. Important.

I hear this is semi-antiquated advice (I say semi because I'm not entirely sure that it doesn't help)
but have you tried to charge your battery all the way up and calibrate it?
Also...it seems that you have a voice mail. You should certainly check that, don't want to keep anyone hanging lol

No, so I will. BTW that voicemail is just a whole bunch of people talking in the background, must be an accident.

Here is a link to the app I use (although there are others ofc):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd
Charge to 100% and while still plugged, open the app grant root and calibrate. Then you want to use your phone until its at around 5% battery and charge it all the way back up to 100% before using it and then you should be good. If not, then we can look into other alternatives ^^

Why does this keep popping up?

Why does this keep popping up and how do I remove it. It pops up every few seconds even when I hit clear. I don't like seeing a battery symbol up there if my battery gets below 30%!
Thanks.

Do you have avg antivirus installed? I used too and after every perccent drop it would pop back up
Via LG OG running Rootbox 4.2.2
Looks like you have jb. Long press on the notification until you get the little menu.choose app info and you will see what is generating it. You can also disable the notification from there.

I can get it here in MO, but when it's trying to update, it comes up with an error and stops. So I'm not running it right now. I can't figure it out, only thing I haven't done yet is a factory reset. But I'm trying to get it.

You aren't the only One that app killed my battery faster than keeping the screen on pretty impressive how an app can manage to drain battery that fast and this is on my home Wi-Fi network. The app is trouble and if it's not draining battery for some people it's definitely not helping their battery either So best to keep it turned off imo.

Mine was doing the same thing even with the app off.. still running WILD with GPS .. climbing. Ended up killing it that way.. going and hitting FORCE STOP under apps, killed all background apps in Dev options.. Funny thing is.. first few weeks with this phone.. It never showed up.. Suddenly it's there and going nutz!!! (It's all fixed for now) lol :good:
This is what mine is doing.. CONSTANTLY. I can watch the GPS usage climb.. and i have location off.
