[HELP!] Comics HD Replacement on CM7? - TouchPad General

Is there no app like Comics HD for android at all? I LOVED this on WebOS and really dont want to reboot to just read comics...
Would an RSS reader be able to work for comics such as XKCD, at least? Any info is appreciated.

Try ComicRack

I use Komik on my honeycomb tablet, so whenever we get CM9, you can give it a try then.

Comic rack is the nearest I've found. Presents covers and volumes.

I'll have to try some of these. I've been using Perfect Viewer on my nook running CM7 and it works pretty well. I kept having problems with ACV crashing. I like the Comics/Comixology app (Guided View ftw!), but unfortunately you can only view comics from their store.

Book and Manga reader?

Has anyone found a good manga reader for cell phones, or are they just too small? (Even the Dell Streak)
And can anyone recommend a good pdf reader? One that isn't slow to go to the next page, that has a good text reflow setting (I can't stand ezpdf's text reflow, and it is slow, to me.) For now, I'm just using Adobe Reader, but it has the minor annoyance of sometimes not saving the page I'm on. (I've been typing the page I'm on in a draft text.)
Pocketmanga. Been using it since i got my dx2. Its one of my favorite apps.

Well, obviously. But I have to do it with what I've got, lol.
Try mycomics
myComics is optimized for small screens.
Search youtube for "mycomics android" and check the clip of mycomics running on a Dell 5.

Best PDF reader (preferrably for 4.1 JB)

Hey guys, title says all. I'm looking for the best free PDF reader out there for Android, preferrably for 4.1. I have trouble trusting Adobe for the job right now. Any input?
Repligo
Its not free but it by far the best one I've used. Allows markups.

I use APV its pretty quick at opening files and navigating through pages and zooms in quite well. It doesn't have tons of flash features but I guess that is why it is quicker than others I have tried. I wanted to find one that just works and this seem to do the trick!

I'd recommend Repligo as well. It's hardly expensive. Adobe Reader crashes on my Archos 101 G9 Turbo ICS.

Too bad the B&N Nook app is missing To my knowledge it's the only app that comes close to Kindle on webOS (featuring a two-page layout and page-turn animations)
I'll second aldiko.

[APP] NOOK Reader from Galaxy Tab 4

This is the stock NOOK app reader from the NOOK branded Galaxy Tab 4. Tested on NOOK HD running CM11. Good for those who miss the stock reader app. The Galaxy Tab 4 version is superior to the stock HD version.

Thanks for the app. However, when I try to launch a kids book from the app it doesn't load. Any idea what we would need from a Samsung tab to get that working?

I don't know the answer on how to get the kids books working, but I suspect the issue is related to the fact that the kids books are not really books at all. They are specialty apps that are designed to interface with the nook reader. That is what allows them to be interactive. I suspect there is an extra service that is missing that allows those apps to run.

Hmmmm...I wonder if I went to Barnes and Noble and ran a kids book on the tablet it would give me insight on what apk is missing.

I just discovered you can now get the Nook reader app 4.0 directly from the Play Store. Everything works including the kids books.
Edit: Play Store says the app is not compatible with the HD/HD+ and will not allow installation. But it works fine on the HD/HD+ on CM. The file (37MB) is too large to attach here directly so I uploaded it to my Dev-Host server account here:

Just install it manually.
