ebay white battery doors? - HTC EVO 3D

Anyone bought one of these? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-Original-Battery-Back-Door-Cover-Case-Sprint-HTC-EVO-3D-ZVHB133-/160695137663?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item256a2d357f#ht_1689wt_694
It dosent come with a chrome bezel round the camera lenses though also will a cdma battery door fit a GSM evo 3d?

I was tempted, but when I contacted them they said the door comes as is. So it has no aluminum trim ring around the camera lens and the HTC logo is empty, missing the letters. They told me you have to re-use your factory parts. Same product linked, different seller. But in the link you provided they even state the trim is missing.
EDIT - FROM MY POST IN NOVEMBER.

You can buy one here for about $50. lol
http://www.htcrepairparts.com/battery-cover-replacement-for-htc-evo-3dwhite-p-3766.html?language=Fr

i bought one of these about a week ago. It is definitely an htc part, but is missing lots of pieces. The ring around the camera, volume rocker button, power button, and small metal ring around the headphone jack are all missing. However, the silver htc logo is present on the back of the case.
i was able to remove the red ring from the camera lense of my old battery door with a heat gun and a razor blade, although im sure a regular blow dryer would probably loosen up the glue enough to pry it off. The volume, power buttons, and headphone ring can be easily removed with tweezers.
After i had all of the parts from the old battery door, i got some gorilla epoxy and used it to secure all of the parts to the new case.
I think it actually came out really slick looking with the mix of red, white, and black. If anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like let me know and ill post some pictures

Don't tease us, just post them up.

yeah man post some pics!!
I think i might go ahead and get one white cover and a US red and black one, and put the red camera ring on the white one and keep my black and gold gsm cover just in case it all goes wrong!

SGP Neo Hybrid Case

Got mine today. I kinda like it!!! I gotta get used to the feel of the back. I thought it would be more of a silicon feel but not exactly. But not to bad. I just really like the looks of it.

it does cover the secondary mic. Not a big deal though. I just went and picked mine up from them today, since they are local to me. The outer shell is pretty thin, so it will be no problem to make another hole for the mic, if you want to. I will wait and see how the phone performs first. On my thread, someone shows how they heated up a nail or something, and made the hole. Looks perfect.

I havent noticed a difference so far, but I just got it today. The in call speaker is kind of low to begin with, in my opinion. But you can just make another hole where the secondary mic is, if you choose to. I would recommend this case to anyone with this phone. It is really nice quality, and the people there at SGP are first class.
Inner shell is getting loose
I had this case for about 2 weeks now and it seems that the inner shell is getting loose. I can see that the give on the inner shell especially around camera opening is loose and the gap between the shell and the phone is really loose if you know what I mean.
I think the inner shell material might be getting stretched out with time.
Everything else is great but I think if the material was little more resilient it would be much better case.

Cruzerlite TPU case review

I recently had the opportunity to get a few of these cases to try out on my photon. I must say I have never really been a fan of TPU cases, but these are great!
The fit of these cases is perfect and very form fitting. You don't lose any of the cool design of the edges of the photon. The ports are all accessible and I haven't had any issues with the speaker on front or back being covered up. The volume rocker and camera buttons are covered and have raised buttons over them. Only issue i would have is i wish they had done the same over the power button as sometimes it is difficult to press. It ads barely any weight at all to the photon.
It glides in and out of your pocket and mine actually still fits in my leather pouch with the TPU on.
I love the look of the smoke colored one that I was sent. You can see the Motorola logo through the back as well as the sprint logo.
I also tested out a solid black one that was nice and a green one. They all have an argyle design on them which I really like. My wife liked the green case and if she had a photon I would buy her one as well.
Overall this case has completely opened my eyes and this is exactly what I needed for my photon. With the gorilla glass I don't really have to worry about the screen and now the outside is protected as well without losing the slim and cool design that I really love about the photon.
If you want a TPU case I would suggest buying them from cruzerlite and supporting a great product and fellow xda member. You can find them on Amazon or the cruzerlite website.
I will post some pics. Any questions or want other pics let me know.

I wish they weren't argyle. Otherwise I would have bought one
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App
I bought one similar from sprint. Had to cut buttons covers off because it was pushing in on power button and making phone go wacky on its own. Would also move too much on edges and was pealing edge of invisibleSHIELD. Now its sitting on my desk, which reminds me...will visit the trash can on my next trip to the kitchen.
I got the hard case and much happier, plus more rim protection when placed face down.
The jet black one is not argyle
The inside is,the outside is not.

spray painting the battery door?

Has anyone painted their battery door? I've got an extra and I want to paint it white, but I haven't a clue how to do it. I assume sanding since its plastic.
No sanding just use plastidip for temporary yet good looking paint or if you're 100% committed use the plastic bonding paint available at any walmart. No sanding needed and turns out great. Thin even coats with time to dry in between. Post pictures

I did this w/ my Droid Charge using RC Model Spray Paint.
Learn from my mistake on painting phones....... Let it dry!
KORM via the beast known as the Rezound.
amazon has a bunch of color cases for this phone already. Id get a case. however if your up to a real challenge get some carbon fiber from fiberglast.com and go to town. i did an otterbox once, took three tries to get it looking ok. patience is key. best of luck
Yeah, but no color battery doors. I've been waiting for HTC to come out with their red and white battery doors.
Did you ever end up painting it... I just got a spare and and want to paint it buy want to know what you used

hahaht that cool i havent thought about that
Yeah me too, what's the best way?

Use the plastic bonding paint. It'll work but be patient and let it dry between light coats. No sanding required

How durable are these paints? Will they chip over time?
I used krylon fusion and I think it looks pretty good. Hard to get even coat with no drops on the extended battery where it plateaus though. But all in all not too bad
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
I spray painted mine. Looks great but the slits for the speakers got covered and muffled the sound. I took a toothpick to clean it sorta worked
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
Anyone got pics of these? I'm considering doing white on mine, also will this interfere with the antenna since it is located in the battery door
No my antenna works fine
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
The Krylon Fusion holds up very well just gotta be careful not to do coats too fast or it'll goop up and be soft.
I recently tried this, there was some chipping on the side, but i think that was because i wasnt able to do evan coats on the side. overall it looks great, especially when paired with a red soft gel case that i picked up from best buy the white accents with the red cover looks bad ass to say the least
Jack seems to like it
I'm to scared to try this. Don't u need those gold looking things on the back door to get reception.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA App
My reception has been fine all day. the paint doesnt interfere with the gold ant, considering those are on the inside of the back

This is for the international version of the gnote.
Speaker, s pen, camera and led cut outs are identical.
Bottom tabs are in perfect positions
Top and the sides the tabs were a little wide and a bit off on position. with a exacto knife i was able to trim excess off the tabs so it lined up to snap in. Some of the tabs ended up a lot smaller than the stock size but still had that click sound when i put it on. Once it was on it was pretty secure and snug. Compared to the stock cover. its a bit easier to take off and had a good feel to it. its also thicker and kinda have a less slippery feel.
I am pretty satisfied with the product build. It was nicely crafted. Only issue is the red looks more pink to me than red and it was made for the international version.
Hows the signal compare to the stock? Aluminum and other metals can block radio waves. It is a real problem, not sure how you could avoid it with that cover.
Thanks im gonna do the same I ordered 2 doors. the carbon and a white leather one.. Thanks for the run down i fig it would be something simple to make these work.
IT'S NOT PINK BRO IT'S "CRIMSON" LOL nice work though man!

its thicker. i'd say original + half of original is the thickness. enough to sink the camera lens down a bit.
Im hoping I can get all my battery covers to work like yours. Do you have before and after pics of the cuts you made? I got 4 international covers after they pretty much confirmed the size and shape were identical. I had no idea they would make the tabs different I have a really nice carbon fiber patterned one that feels like leather that I can't get to fit right. I just dont want to go and start cutting tabs and mess one up and it not fit properly
TIA
I hope someone sells these for the AT&T Note. I ordered one of these and tried to cut it to fit but ended up with the cover not properly holding/latching on half of one side.
Just wondering did you detach the nfc part of the original and put it on the red one?

HTC TITAN OEM Kickstand case for sale

Having issues with my HTC TITAN, and am getting rid of it. The OEM Kickstand case hasn't even been used, as it took forever to receive it from Clove Uk across the pond. It would cost me more to ship it back than it's worth.
So, brand new HTC Kickstand case for sale. Looking for $30 through PayPal. I'll ship it within 24 hours.

What issues are you having with it ? Mines fine, ok delivery was quicker
I'm having serious call quality issues, and am on my second TITAN. I also see some data issues, but not nearly as frequent. The phone issues are hppeining almost every time. It's a known issue from HTC, so don't feel like going through this any longer.
Other than that, it's a great phone. But, my clients need to be able to reach me on my cell, and be able to hear me as well. I'm just trying to fugure out how many times before ATT switches my phone to another device. I wouldn't mine switching to the Titan II or the Lumia 900, but nothing else satisfies at the moment.
I will take the case . give me your paypal
Great! I'll PM you with the information.
good case...I think buying
I'll bite if the others don't.
I think it is stupid to sell a case with stand that fits over the battery cover, it just adds more bulk. What I would buy in a heart beat is a replacement back cover with the stand built in. No additional bulk.

Agreed!
noise canceling mics are blocked.
So HTC makes the mics and then makes the case to block them? lol. Good job.
Please update
Did you sell it? Above you had a couple of bites, but no update whether it is sold or not. I'll take it is still available!
Thanks,
Grenadez

Is that what the 6 little black holes are? There are 3 sets of 2 holes (1 set at top left, 1 bottom left [vertical] and 1 bottom right).
Can this be part of the outgoing sound quality issue with the Titan? The issue isn't all calls, so when I get a complaint that someone can't hear me, I'll have to make note if my fingers or hand are covering the holes or at least some of them.
