Just wanted to let you guys know that there's supposed to be a superbowl ad during the 4th quarter for the Galaxy Note.

Got to compare the Galaxy Nexus, the Skyrocket, and the Note at CES, and I have to say the Note is my absolute favorite.
It has completely wrecked smaller form factor phones for me . Screen is amazing. Watching HD video on it was gorgeous! LTE was really fast. I was getting 35mbps in the building there. S-Pen works pretty well, I guess it would be kinda useful, but more so to just play around with. Phone is massive. It was really nice as you get a lot of room to move your fingers and be more precise.
When it gets ICS it will be like really awesome!
So ya thats all I have to say.
I think I need to stay away from these forums until friday!

Overskreen is the freaking boss. Bought it and absolutely in love with it. AirCalc and GotYa (by the same company) are absolutely GOLDEN as well. Thanks for sharing.
I do have to admit though. The video playing while on the navigation screen is quite terrifying. Lol. At least they are apparently not on a freeway. Lol.

Yes i to hate that!!! You also have to keep in mind many do not have a 5.3" screen and s-pen so It would be a bit harder for them.

That's too big. I have a 7" tablet and I couldn't imagine lugging it around all the time or talking/texting on it. Plus I have to have an otterbox defender on everything I own and it would be crazy huge.
They should make a 5.5" phone and the normal 7/8.? & 10 inch tablets.
OK, we do not need any of that type of discussion regarding size issues on a personal matter, if you need to comment on your self, then maybe some inadequacy is involved, never the less it is not needed, that type of posting.

I'm ready to see some more phablet competition as well. Seeing as I probably will never get a phone that is smaller than the Note 1, I am kinda stuck with the Note line. I don't really like how the Note 2 got thinner but, what choice do I have if I want to upgrade?

If they make a 7" galaxy note tablet I will be all in. The gnote 10.1 was perfect but way overpriced when you compare it to todays top of the line tablets

My upgrade is in November 2013. If it follows the same pattern as the sg2 and 3 with the note having superior specs it will be a no brainier. I can't wait.

I think the sgs3/note2 are last with different specs. Samsungs cpus are lte compatible now, so from here on out im betting the difference between the two will be screen soze and spen only

I thought that will be the only difference. Samsung is rumored to come out with a unbreakable phone soon.....maybe the S3. Which leads people to think that they will be using the new Flex screens and full screen display to make it possible. Can you imagine a 6"3 inch pure screen phone? Sounds amazing!

Yeah I saw it last night on Comedy Central. I think they're pushing the whole index finger back button thing too hard though. I actually like the buttons, but the ad campaign feels gimicky. I guess their hand was forced by Samsung and people losing their **** over holding their finger over the screen and waving away home screens. I guess that's what gets the masses excited though so what can you do. It gets under my skin a bit though.
They should be making a bigger deal about 'knock-on' then the buttons in the back imo

Lol, me too. I freaked out, went to work the next morning and told everybody that this new phone I got, that I'd shown everybody the day before, had a commercial on NFL network! They couldn't have cared less. They cared about as much as they had the day before when I showed off the phone. Like when I show off all my phones. Sad me. This is the only place where I can talk about my hobby and even here it's mostly negative. But not in this thread! Found someone who was as excited as I was!

LOL... The first one is great! The number of times I've heard my wife say "Ugh... this PHONE!" when something happens during a call. (She has a GNex, I usually upgrade first to "scout" the devices.)

I saw a lg g2 commercial too. It was ok but it looked like a promo video i have seen before. I just hope that LG keeps putting up the marketing to promote this phone. I think a lot of ppl are still afraid to try LG because of their mid range phone past.

I'm not sure about you guys, but I feel like the majority of commercials have been aired during NFL network time (ABC, CBS, Etc..) slots. Does that say something about who they are trying to market this phone to? Men?! haha. But who knows, maybe I only see the commercials during NFL games because that's about all I watch on Television right now.
