Yes i to hate that!!! You also have to keep in mind many do not have a 5.3" screen and s-pen so It would be a bit harder for them.

Yeah.. I kinda chimed into the conversation a little late. If you could believe it i hadn't even heard of the note till Feb. 22. I bought it Feb. 25th. Traded my iphone 4 just for my friends upgrade.

Got to compare the Galaxy Nexus, the Skyrocket, and the Note at CES, and I have to say the Note is my absolute favorite.
It has completely wrecked smaller form factor phones for me . Screen is amazing. Watching HD video on it was gorgeous! LTE was really fast. I was getting 35mbps in the building there. S-Pen works pretty well, I guess it would be kinda useful, but more so to just play around with. Phone is massive. It was really nice as you get a lot of room to move your fingers and be more precise.
When it gets ICS it will be like really awesome!
So ya thats all I have to say.
I think I need to stay away from these forums until friday!

So I went from my ATT Note to BB8130 on VZW and found that had just traveled back in time to a time and place where things just werent easy nor connected.
I begged my friends for loaners and got the Droid X again on VZW and still no signal....but atleast is android...I don't feel too bad.
But the screen size, the crispness of that screen, and the Samsung calendar are features I mess greatly.....and I can't believe I'm saying this but the ATT network is what I miss most!
So now trying to switch either back to the Note or a GS3....
O yeohh AT&T is f****good network I. Have at&t for 10 year not problems.

I have the note and I'm super happy with it, but my gf got the sgs3 and I been playing around and is really sweet, you can't go wrong with either but the note screen size and the spen is the main reason I prefer mine. The pebble blue in Canada for the s3 is sexy as hell

I'm not too happy with AT&T's network in my area at the moment. The cell towers can't keep up with all the tourism. A few months ago I could easily get 49Mb/sec down, but now I'm lucky if I get 400Kb/sec, or even a data connection at all. Ugh.
Wouldn't trade mine for any other phone out. Will switch this for the note 2!

Yeah I like the gs3, the fact I have the spen a great screen and amazing pictures and video the gs3 is only a hairline better mainly because of it 2gb of ram and qualcoms s4 instead of the s3, so point of the story I would never leave my phone get back to the note we got ics and develop is soon to be taken off if it hasn't already

We just got source !!! Can't wait for some good roms now ....thier already good but with source it will be better ....I love my note.. s3 isn't a big enough difference spec wise for me to get ride of my note..and its smaller

That's too big. I have a 7" tablet and I couldn't imagine lugging it around all the time or talking/texting on it. Plus I have to have an otterbox defender on everything I own and it would be crazy huge.
They should make a 5.5" phone and the normal 7/8.? & 10 inch tablets.
OK, we do not need any of that type of discussion regarding size issues on a personal matter, if you need to comment on your self, then maybe some inadequacy is involved, never the less it is not needed, that type of posting.

I'm ready to see some more phablet competition as well. Seeing as I probably will never get a phone that is smaller than the Note 1, I am kinda stuck with the Note line. I don't really like how the Note 2 got thinner but, what choice do I have if I want to upgrade?
I feel the same way... but i do want a n4 since its already subsidized and i can save my upgrade

If they make a 7" galaxy note tablet I will be all in. The gnote 10.1 was perfect but way overpriced when you compare it to todays top of the line tablets

My upgrade is in November 2013. If it follows the same pattern as the sg2 and 3 with the note having superior specs it will be a no brainier. I can't wait.

I think the sgs3/note2 are last with different specs. Samsungs cpus are lte compatible now, so from here on out im betting the difference between the two will be screen soze and spen only

I thought that will be the only difference. Samsung is rumored to come out with a unbreakable phone soon.....maybe the S3. Which leads people to think that they will be using the new Flex screens and full screen display to make it possible. Can you imagine a 6"3 inch pure screen phone? Sounds amazing!

Well it has been an awesome 2 years of learning and crying with my fellow note friends but alas I got an upgrade and gonna try the HTC one tomorrow. I'd wait till they release a device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 in it which will be soon.
A couple of phones will be announced and released next week or two that I know of. Moto X. And Lg is showing off something on Aug. 7th.

HTC makes nice phones. And now they provide a web-based bootloader unlocker (s-off). But how can you replace the pen?
Honestly I never use it. Only time I use it is when I'm sending snapchats and I draw something lol. I mainly run aosp so all the bells and whistles from it are useless.

Yep I agree, but I like nerding it up here also, except I don't have as much time as I used to. I'm definitely waiting for the note 3, my note will be 20 months around the speculated time of release so I'll be signing on another 2 year plan with AT&T . I just hope they don't go overboard with the note 3 size.
