[Q] Lockscreen Wallpaper Cycle/Slideshow?

Hi,
Is it possible for the lockscreen wallpaper to cycle or rotate through my pictures, similar to a slideshow?
Is this functionality achievable through an app/tweak of some sort?
TIA.
Has anyone found out a way to achieve this yet?
Does this functionality exist through an app such as Wallpaper Changer?
Or is it built into any ROMs?
i tried to implement such a functionallity in Wallpaper Changer but I haven't found a way to change the lockscreen wallpaper programmatically yet... if anyone has an idea, please let me know...

Yeah, I have tried using your app to achieve this. However, it doesn't work for me, probably because I'm still running on the stock ROM. Please let me know if you find out how to achieve this function.
Does anyone else have any ideas on how to do this?
Did you try this this app, it will go through your put images in a folder on your phone and change the image (x number of mins, hourly, daily or weekly),
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nettech.android.awallpaper.free.main&feature=search_result
Let me know if this helps
I tried the wallpaper app and got nothing but the error "cannot identify wallpaper" and showed a list of all my photos in red.

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread....
But you could make the app allow you to set live wallpapers (such as KLWP) as a lockscreen wallpaper.
You can then make a slideshow that only shows when locked with KLWP.
Unfortunately on my OPO with COS I can't set KLWP as my lockscreen wallpaper.

[APP] Wallpaper Wizardrii - Adios Honeycomb Crop

I'm sure there are other apps out there for this, but this was the one I stumbled across. Allows you to set a scrollable (or non-scrollable) wall paper without having to crop it with the Honeycomb wallpaper cropper.
Got rid of a lot of headaches very quickly.

I'm curious as well what those widgets are.

These are from the Asus transformer. You can find them in the apps and themes section. I can upload the wallpaper, I think it is Vancouver.
Install the weather app as you would normally do. I used rootexplorer to make a backup of /system/app/DeskClock.apk and copied the new deskclock.apk into the same dir. The picture may not cover the entire screen in portrait mode.

I just select no scroll so the entire wallpaper appears and is not cropped. Scrollable will crop the image and reduce resolution. I believe exact is what you may have selected if a small version of the wp appears in lieu of full screen. Unfortunately i am having some issues with no scroll function, which i mentioned above. Some reviews of the app indicate similar issues.

I have tried every setting, tried adjusting the slide, and still it blows up the wallpaper. Unless someone decides to share what they're doing to make it work right I recommend using multi picture live wallpaper. Aside from having to refresh when switching orientation, this app is perfect for setting a proper wallpaper in HC.

My CRT animation has no lag. The pixelation effect is the bug that needs to be solved. Also, you can temporarily fix the pixel-effect when installing LCD Density and set it to 240 (it already is set to this I know) and press apply.
Your device will reboot and the pixel-effect is gone, but now it looks all white. It should not look like this either.

I'm on stock kg1. I renamed the file last night, rebooted and it kinda worked - blank screen before screen-off, which isn't right either. But then this morning, the pixelated screen-off is BACK!!!! I renamed the file back to its original name, and guess what - blank screen before screen-off again.

The LCD Density trick dosen't work. I try this. And I think this was the solution.. but after i change the position from an app in app drawer from Go Launcher EX I get the pixeled-laggy CRT Effect back.
Yesterday i remove the ScreenCaputre.apk and restarted. I was happy to have the real CRT effect from Nexus S.
But now i try to change in Settings the 2G -> Networtk to 3G. go back. switch off the display and boooooooooooom CRT Pixeled-Laggy effect si BACK.
I try both, to delete the screen capture and to setup the density.. Both was fail. thumbs down.
I am at Litening ROM 1.5 with Blue steel Theme. I will switch all animations off so i never get the ****ing CRT pixel Bug.
EDIT:
Here is my CRT Bug:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcFs_m2JIzg
Once more, removing the ScreenCapture apk REMOVES the pixel-effect.
It does NOT make the CRT animation look like it should!!
"Assumed fixed CRT" - The CRT animation people consider as the 'fixed' one is just a white flash.
"Supposed fixed CRT" - How the CRT animation should look, is different, you see the image displayed on your screen being ripped appart in red/green/blue and fade to the middle.
Take a close look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Lv1p4TvRw4
In the video, you see the large clock actually being sucked to the middle, this is how it is supposed to look. I am just trying to make this clear

Yesterday i removed the screen capture and today i have the PIXEL Bug.. the pixel look like chess field.. like my Video witch i have posted..
Just tested it..
Removing screencapture.apk doesn't solve the CRT bug (pixel effect) at all .
And moreover, why should it? Bug appears even when you dont launch that app. I personally never use screencapture.apk . But still have the bug...
It looks like that everyone here who were patient enough to wait and see if bug comes back, rather than reporting at once that it works, still have this problem...
This thread seems to be a bit misleading... Isn't it?

Lock Screen

hi! I come from a nexus 4 and I don't quiet like the Sony lock screen.. is there a way of changing it with a stock android one?
I kinda second this.
While there are numerous apps that act as lockscreen replacements, none of them actually do the job well. The one that comes closest to pure AOSP is Holo Locker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobint.locker), but it's closer to ICS than it is to KitKat.
'Tis a shame since Sony's UI can actually be made to resemble AOSP, except for the single most seen screen on the phone -- the lockscreen (even the wallpaper can only be a static image ffs).

I do prefer having a swipe lockscreen of some sort to place a widget (such as CLock) to be able to see things with a single push of a button, without really unlocking. Sony's way of doing lockscreens is just absurd, especially the way you can't set the background to match your homescreen. And those sparkles, ugh, don't even get me started.
Xperia Xposed let my live wallpaper show on lock screen
Tried many Xposed Xperia modules, all of them got me a bootloop.

I swear there is no XperiaLockScreen in there. And no, I didn't delete it, else I'd leave an .odex behind. Despite it missing, it's still working perfectly. Or, rather, as Sony intended it to work (which is, for me, far from perfect).
(See the attachment if you don't believe me -- I always leave .odex behind when I delete system apps just in case something goes wrong and I have to restore it from an earlier backup)
I absolutely love ACDisplay, similar to the motorola lock screen, and I really like the minimalist approach. I set it to show my background instead of the black screen and I think it looks great in combination with Tapet wallpaper app.

Can AcDisplay be set as the lockscreen (that is, can it be set to show itself even when there are no notifications)?
Having it wake up the screen will probably drain the battery as well, so unless there's a way to basically set it to act as a normal lockscreen, I'd avoid it.

The XTP one is pretty much empty, no res folder, just the manifest and meta-inf. The keyguard is interesting though -- this is Sony's lockscreen!
Any chance replacing this with an older Xperia's Keyguard would work?
And to answer my own previous question -- AcDisplay can be made into the lockscreen. A damn good one, too, though I'd still like a system app.

Yes you can set it to be as a normal lock screen. It works great, especially with double tap --> double tap to wake up (check clock or notifications) and again double tap to turn off the screen.
You can also set that notifications don't wake up the phone.
