FOR ANSWER ALL MY STUPID QUESTIONS

Looks good
Finally some more MIUI love. Will try it out later on with my MIUI build, currently running AOKP (ICS 4.0.3).

Works really well with the latest 2.3.2 MIUI, bravo
EDIT: just rebooted my phone amd unfortunately it reverts recovery back to stock 3e

Use Enigma-1.37. This Version is definite much better.

Using your kernel and liking it so far! I was wondering, what is the difference between an miui kernel and an aosp one? Have you doen any customization/optimization especially for miui?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

miui is based on aosp respectively on cyaongenmod. i have test it only with miui. It may be that it does not work properly with the cyaonogen settings. if you have enough time you can test it.

Been using for a few days...nice work.
Will try the 1.37 version.
What are the differences to previous one?

You can read the changelog eh.

THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok my friend!!! This is real the best kernel!!! I think i love you!!!!!

Great kernel except for one thing ive noticed;
when the music player is running and the screen is turned off (and presumably the cpu drops to 200mhz?) the music becomes jumpy and sorta stops every few seconds. I reflashed another kernel and tested the same songs and other songs and no problem. It happened with every song in this kernel.
Unsure if this is a bug or phone specific but i can reproduce it :S

OK I will check it and bring down to 50mhz.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

it works wifi and bt ???? 1.37 does not work.

trying now!!
ill come back later with feedbacks
---------- Post added at 05:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:57 PM ----------
what is the recomended io + governor for good balance between battery and performance?

Test the Enigma default settings for Cpu and Gpu. There is a script include the kernel. Bt and wifi dont work? It's for miui eh. With Sammy Roms you get no Ip from Router.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

what are the defaults for io and governor?
i've changed them lol

Sio and lulzactive

could you commit your changes for 1.39 to github? source seems to be at 1.34.
I'm very interested what patches you used for android gadget and usb mounting ...

I must learn git. Before i learn git i must learn for my exam.

kernel
hello compatible with the latest version of the MluI! 2 .3.23.1? thank you

It should work with all Gingerbread MiUi Roms. Ics Kernel coming soon.

Hey Keiran, Good that you kept the original sony bootlogo, i like that more than the doomlord one.
Only issue so far, i can't get wifi to work. I used this command to push the drivers: adb push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/
that's the correct command right? or do i need to specify the bcm4329.ko after modules/?
Eventhough, nice work
adb push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko
i should have known
long time ago that i last used adb push commands.
Thnx XperiaPlayer, nice to see you're back
EDIT: Even with the right command, still no luck getting wifi to work..
Will check if the build.prop is maybe missing the setprop persist.wifienabled 1 line
EDIT 2: Yep, through adb shell # setprop persist.wifienabled 1 fixed it
im srry but i dont understand how to get wifi working can someone explain it a lil better plz
Just use root explorer to copy over the file to d directory changing permissions

This kernel works only with all TW/Samsung based JB ROMS 4.1.XFlash it at your own Risk!
First of all I want to say this that is one project which just started and gradually we will improve it. In this community there are very good developers and we are not traying to compete with them. This is just a hobby and we do it because we like Android. This kernel is only for N7100 and we don't have plans to make it compatible with other versions of Note 2. We have many downloads of our ROMS but a few regarding comments than downloads and that could discourage anyone. We hope that you will not only download the kernel but also you will sent your comment with pros and cons and you should respect our efforts.
I want to give special thanks to Acura and Franlov for helping me with everything.

Hi and hello! A new kernel! Great! Exfat support! Great...... Will test it, next days.... Thx to all you developers and Kernel makers.... Without you, a smartphone will be as half as good as it is.....
Will post my experience.....
@OP:
May i ask you who allowed you to redistribute my Boeffla Sound App, even with modifying the code, which is illegal as the app is under Apache License and NOT opensource?
Do you realize that if someone installs the app in your kernel, he cannot update it from the Play Store (because of resigning), and also i cannot track down the amount of installs from the PS?
Therefore, please ask me before doing something, and NO, i don't allow you to use MY APP in your kernel, sorry.
If you want spanish support, just ask me
Sorry for the misunderstanding
The English version is available again. I made a mistake in not reading the Boeffla sound license and I did mistake. I'll upload the Spanish version, but only the apk Stweaks wiil be in Spanish and Boeffla sound will be the original version.
Hi again....test your kernel for two days now.....very good performance....I used it with Goarom 8.5 (it's very stock like, ,with a own tweaked build . prop and an own framework System....wifi, ,bluetooth, ,exfat all good, ,no problem. I use Pegasusq governor. Good system reaction. Clock cpu up to 1,8 and modified voltage a bit, cause default voltage of 1320mV seems a bit to low for me, so i switch it up to 1400....im doing a lot of stability and undervolting tests in the past, that shows me the best antutu score with good battery values.... But that's very different from device to device.....
All in all, can't say any negative things, kernel seems to be very good, fast and stable.... Have no fc's oder reboots, all stress tests running stable....
Best antutu score was 17530 at 1,8ghz, but antutu scores changes from test to test... It's android specific....
Two days are not long... My experience is, that the most kernels running very good and fast in the first week and then, most of them, lost their performance more and more.... Why? Don't know....
Ah, I'm using also the generic presets for sysctl from android tuner pro. That brings a lot of performance boost for the most custom kernels, also here... It bring a setup of xda recommended values for sysctl, specific for Galaxy devices.... Try it...
And a tip: A few days ago, I find a new audio mod, that's really really good and powerful, it's called viper 4,from zu hang, a xda developer also.... The best, I ever heard, and I tried all available sound mods before.....
That's two apk's, that installed own audio drivers to Android devices, specific for any chipset (for note 2,thats Cortex A9 with neon). It also uses Irs files, and the two mods are viper4 fx and xhifi, there u can use both. Very compatible with all players, and all media apps on android.... Maybe, ask at Zuhang in his thread here, to build this sound mod in your kernel...? Just an idea, cause this sound drivers are very amazing....!
If you'll need, I send you the link to viper 4 thread....
Greetz and many thx for your work...
And excuse my bad English, I'm from Germany, but try my best, that you will understand what I mean.....
Sts
Tested with rom ARHD 15, cpu to 1,8ghz 1.25v (need just 1.225v but for test added voltage)
PegasusQ, noop and cfq, and io read ahead to 256kb/1024kb.
F-sync disabled.
2 days test. Battery life good.
It's all good, stable and smooth! Cpu run perfect, need just add gpu control!
But, performance mode run not full.
Test in 3dmark: PegasusQ 11600pts in physics, Performance 7300pts??
It's not a real problem! Just for information.
Great Job! :good:
Thanks
Sorry for my english, i'm french!

2.Open up my ramdisk. This is the most advanced step here. You can use kitchen made by dsixda for this purpose.
3.You will find initlogo.rle over there. Delete it.
4.Now follow instructions HERE to convert your image to RLE format
5.Copy this newly generated rle image to my ramdisk and name it as "initlogo.rle"
6.Repack my kernel
7.Flash it and you're done.

[KERNEL][v500][5.x] RedKernel [12/07]

This kernel is based on 5.0.x CM12 source so it's compatible with almost all AOSP Based roms.
FEATURES:
4.4.2 base
Anykernel script with loki support by @aicjofs and @ckret
Bumped with livebump script by @Skin1980
Built with Linaro Cortex-A15 4.9 UBER TC
Userspace voltage control by @faux123

If I come from mani kernel should I reflash the rom before flashing this kernel or I can flash it directly.
Very excited to see a faux based kernel

You should be able to just flash the new kernel as they both use any kernel zip. I did and it's working great
This kernel is excellent. Fast, fluid and plenty of options to tweak with Synapse.
Thanks for your hard work OP.

Thanks done it.
I am really impressed, so many tunables on synapse.
I used intelliactive with intelliplug and I am very very satisfied.
Keep us nice work

What he said.. Great kernel! Thanks!
The brightness is stronger ?
Have found a reboot is necessary to stabilize the brightness control. Other than that all is better than any I've tested. See nothing bad.
Great job!
@Rick Roll
I have tested your kernel and all i can say is "A work very well done"
So i need permissions to use it on Slim builds if possible.
Kudos once more for your work.

ok , lets do it.
Nice bro, a slightly customized cm kernel may interest some users
Keep up :good:
Not sure what your kernel did but it fixes my finger print reader/home button. Yay
I love your selection of governors! Might have to try out this kernel later!

@yarpiin So is the point of this kernel to be the kernel for people who don't want to mess with kernels? I know I'm always nervous about changing something I didn't mean to change in kernel settings, but if the stuff we shouldn't touch if we don't know what it does just isn't there, that would probably be great to many people!

It is basicly untouched CM source kernel with just added some features ,
there is always a risk in fiddling with kernel but im not big fan of OC of mobile cpus or playing with voltages so you wont find things like that in here .
you can change frequency , scaling governor , or scheduler , switch cores on/off and thats it no black magic
Yay!
Kernel is real!
Go 'n flash this baby guys, you won't regret it :good:

Is that an actual problem or did Dev just not put any Kernel info yet?
Do we need to flash UKM zip with this?
Charge control would be sickkk

Kcal control would be a great addition to the kernel..
Just a suggestion :silly:
