ok , lets do it.

Nice bro, a slightly customized cm kernel may interest some users
Keep up :good:

Not sure what your kernel did but it fixes my finger print reader/home button. Yay

I love your selection of governors! Might have to try out this kernel later!

@yarpiin So is the point of this kernel to be the kernel for people who don't want to mess with kernels? I know I'm always nervous about changing something I didn't mean to change in kernel settings, but if the stuff we shouldn't touch if we don't know what it does just isn't there, that would probably be great to many people!

It is basicly untouched CM source kernel with just added some features ,
there is always a risk in fiddling with kernel but im not big fan of OC of mobile cpus or playing with voltages so you wont find things like that in here .
you can change frequency , scaling governor , or scheduler , switch cores on/off and thats it no black magic

Yay!
Kernel is real!
Go 'n flash this baby guys, you won't regret it :good:

Good job !
EDIT: I'm the only guy who have a problem with WiFi on this Kernel ? @cesanaboia
Anybody have tested it ?
Nice job!
But put munjeni's name at the top of the credits
Finally ! Another custom kernel for KitKat. Hope it improves RAM management. Only one question- can you manage to enable dual recovery in this kernel? It will be awesome.
Thanks,will try and report.

This kernel is for performance.
But,can you build a power saver edition 200;400;600;800;1000Mhz?
Thanks.

did you do anything to improve ram management? 1.3ghz are useless if you can't even multitask

One question about OC: have you changed only the dbx500-cpufreq.c to obtain the overclock?
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app
OP I think 100MHz not recommended. Because it cause for stuck phone/laggy or somthing (i've heard that from previous kernel developers). BTW keep updating. Good work!
Good Job Bro thanks U Very Much
Keep Going
Really nice kernel, much better performance than cm 11 kernel because of linaro and oc
Even ram management seems to by better, my home launcher(trebuchrt) haven't faced a redraw after flashing this kernel, even after using dolphin browser
But unfortunately wifi doesn't work. Fix it and this kernel is ready for daily use...
Thank you very muck op

kernel is gpl so you can tell us here also
Kernel works pretty good on AOSP 4.4.2, but damn that bootsplash logo is ugly lol

[KERNEL][v500][5.x] RedKernel [12/07]

This kernel is based on 5.0.x CM12 source so it's compatible with almost all AOSP Based roms.
FEATURES:
4.4.2 base
Anykernel script with loki support by @aicjofs and @ckret
Bumped with livebump script by @Skin1980
Built with Linaro Cortex-A15 4.9 UBER TC
Userspace voltage control by @faux123
Dynamic FSYNC by @faux123
FauxSound by @faux123
hotplug: msm_mpdecision by @show-p1984 (default) and mako_hotplug by @franciscofranco
Intellithermal by @faux123
Default ondemand governor with optimizations by @stratosk
Conservative governor with optimizations by @franciscofranco
Intelliactive governor by @faux123
This kernel works better with 4.4.2 base, if you have problems with brightness you need to use 4.4.2 base files from this thread.
I recommend Synapse + UKM to change the kernel settings.

This is my score with antutu. The highest score I have had before this was about 22000. So this is really great! I know that benchmarks doesn't prove how good a kernel really works. But it still show how it performs.

You should be able to just flash the new kernel as they both use any kernel zip. I did and it's working great
This kernel is excellent. Fast, fluid and plenty of options to tweak with Synapse.
Thanks for your hard work OP.

What he said.. Great kernel! Thanks!
The brightness is stronger ?
Have found a reboot is necessary to stabilize the brightness control. Other than that all is better than any I've tested. See nothing bad.
Great job!
@Rick Roll
I have tested your kernel and all i can say is "A work very well done"
So i need permissions to use it on Slim builds if possible.
Kudos once more for your work.

I'm pretty sure the 2GB kernel panic on LS is ROM related not kernel.
I think you can give it a try but not 100% sure, the worst thing = again kernel panic, but if you make backup before, than np..

Man...FAUX THAT!
Just joking
I think you're right about the mpdecision/intelliplug option. I read that in the illusion thread, but I'm not using illusion, so I spaced it. Thank you for your help(ran outta thanks today).
I'll purchase FAUX tomorrow.

WELCOME TO ELITE KERNELS!
Our main goal behind building these kernels is to create a setup that gives a balance between performance and battery life without straying too far from stock. We like to have our cake and eat it too. Our kernels include performance, memory, and scheduling tweaks that enables your phone to come to the party when you are hammering down on it and need performance ASAP, and to go to sleep faster than a basset hound on a warm summer day. We put these kernels together mainly for our own use; so what we release is what we personally use. We hope you enjoy them too!

What is enabled by default? We like to control our kernels with a script run at boot for defaults, although any kernel app can control the built in settings. Here is what we set as default upon boot:
Sweep left 2 sleep
Doubletap 2 wake
CFQ IO scheduler with 1536 read ahead
If you want to change anything you can open up /system/elite/Elite.sh and save and execute (or use your favorite control app). Current method for N Preview has script in /system/su.d/Elite.sh
Special Thanks
@flar2 for his wake gestures
@faux123 for his sound control and other goodies along the way
@bbedward for porting BFS to the nexus 6 - I was so happy to see this...havent used it since Gingerbread days

Recommendations for flashing:
1. If you have flashed another kernel, we suggest you get back the kernel that the ROM you were on came with before flashing Elite Kernel. Easiest way to do this is dirty flash the ROM again.
2. If you think you are getting a bug that is kernel related, please report all of your current setup. Including ROM(and version), any other kernels you've flashed, if you have dirty flashed a ROM update, and any other information we might need and also include a log if possible.
Got it

Tried flashing on the primary ROM. Multi ROM seems to be present.

We set these up out of the box to our liking so the recommended settings are the default ones. I use trickster when I do mess with things though.
First impressions: Been onboard 9 hours on Tesla rom (unofficial) a friend of mine builds for Shamu...Extremely smooth!!Slow drain on battery already seems noticeable to me. Played a zombie killer fps game and no stutters whatsoever. Using kernels default settings. Tks guys!
Kernel up and running on AOSiP.
Smooth & Fast...
Now let's give it some time...

You should be able to pull in the latest 4 BFS patches from the bfs_gc branch. I think I should have pulled them into the BFS_standalone branch but wasn't paying attention they are all minor, but good things from at least a developer perspective
Very happy to see the team pushing out quality goods yet again

Also wanted to say I greatly appreciate the way you have your git organized. From a devs perspective it makes it 100x easier to see how you implemented your changes. Very helpful. Thank you!

this is the goal. It makes it easy to just do something like "git pull zen BFS_standlone" and only get the bfs stuff, etc. Also to not have to search through pages of commits to find a certain set of changes.
I get a little unorganized in the misc branches, but I can't have one for everything

You're a cool dude. I love your attitude and willingness to share and help. Kudos!
Yup cool dudes here!!
Kernel running great so far, thanks!
May the 4th be with you kernel version posted in OP.
Buck added in some BFS patching. Thanks @bbedward.
Can I Flash this over my current kernel (Franco) Or do I need to re-flash my ROM first? Thanks for the work guys.

Go ahead.. I use root explorer and check system/init.d/etc and delete any scripts if they're there just to make sure nothing messes with the new kernel then flash kernel.
