I'm going to try it on Candy5 and my phone is the 2gb version. Worst that could(should) happen is you'll have boot loops. Just make a backup before flashing.
*edit*
It's working fine.

I'm pretty sure the 2GB kernel panic on LS is ROM related not kernel.
I think you can give it a try but not 100% sure, the worst thing = again kernel panic, but if you make backup before, than np..

Testet on SlimLP 0.8 Alpha. Works flawless. If you change the gpu govenor to cpubw_hwmon kernel crash. No i take a look in battery life.
I think the kernel crash is a LP issue.
My LG is a little bit smoother

Hope everything is working :fingers-crossed:
Till now everything seems to be working as intended :good:
I got bootloop after a few minutes stuck in LG logo. The same thing as in AOSP by mikegapinski (I'm one of those who had this random kernel panic). :/ Unoff. CM with his custom kernel by mateo1111 only works perfectly fine.
@anirion
I'll see what can I do with that asap.
Little problem
Thanks this ROM.
Works fine.
-But.
OTA updater makes a notification again and again...:
Gapps updates available.
Your gapps outdated! pa_gapps-20130808-signed available.
Download and install it?
I think this update for Android 4.3 not to 4.2.2.
Why disturb me about update again and again...?
Thank your for tha answer....

You can disable update check frequency under Paranoid OTA app settings. It should help. Or just remove/disable that app.
No bugs ? How is the battery life ? CM10.1 themes works on it ?

Yes CM themes work
Bugs i have not found any till now,
Battery cant tell yet but deep sleep works great.
Its smoother than CM even if auto rotation is off.

Finally ! Another custom kernel for KitKat. Hope it improves RAM management. Only one question- can you manage to enable dual recovery in this kernel? It will be awesome.
Thanks,will try and report.

One question about OC: have you changed only the dbx500-cpufreq.c to obtain the overclock?
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app
OP I think 100MHz not recommended. Because it cause for stuck phone/laggy or somthing (i've heard that from previous kernel developers). BTW keep updating. Good work!
Good Job Bro thanks U Very Much
Keep Going
Really nice kernel, much better performance than cm 11 kernel because of linaro and oc
Even ram management seems to by better, my home launcher(trebuchrt) haven't faced a redraw after flashing this kernel, even after using dolphin browser
But unfortunately wifi doesn't work. Fix it and this kernel is ready for daily use...
Thank you very muck op

ONLY FOR D618/D620 WITH STOCK-based ROMs!
KERNEL COMPILED USING LINARO CORTEX-A7 4.9.3 TOOLCHAIN!
My changes in kernel:
Added CPU overclock to 1.6 GHz/underclock to 192 Mhz (default CPU freqs is 0.3-1.2 GHz, so you need to set up overclock and underclock in Kernel Auditor)
[*]Added GPU overclock to 533 MHz*/underclock to 100 MHz
[*]Added support for FAST CHARGE function (disabled by default - for enable use Fast Charge)
[*]Default governor changed to ondemand
[*]Added new CPU governors: CONSERVATIVE, INTERACTIVE, INTELLIDEMAND, INTELLIACTIVE, INTELLIMM, ZZMOOVE, YANKACTIVE, SMARTMAX, IMPULSE, ALUCARD, ADAPTIVE, WHEATLEY, DANCEDANCE, LIONHEART, SMARTASSV2 - experimental, on default parametres cpu works on max freq!
[*]Added some new I/O shedulers: BFQ, SIO, SIOPLUS, FIOPS, FIFO, VR, ZEN.
Added support for Faux Sound Control (v3.4) function (to set it up use: FauxSoundControl App)
Added support for KEXEC HARDBOOT (you can use ROM with this kernel as INTERNAL in MultiROM)
Added support for intelli_plug (v3.8) (setting in the Kernel Auditor -> CPU Hotplug)
* - may work incorrect sometimes, so for most perfomance in games I recommend you to turn GPU governor to "perfomance".

No, just STOCK 4.4.2 and roms which based on it (Monolithic OS for example)
Is the kernel of D618 the same as of D620?
So will this work on D620, too?
Hi, could you send me some tutorial what should I do to compile my own kernel for d620r? The best way would be to publish this tutorial on this forum to simply reuse by another one people's?

No, D618 and D620 have differnt defconfigs (configuratin files for cmpiling kernel) so it won't work D620/D620R and any another phne, just on D618 and just on STOCK-based ROMs.

[D618] Monolithic Kernel
Information
Developer: I'm, invaderjohn helps.
Just for STOCK-4.4.2 ROM and which based on STOCK.
Kernel version: 3.4.10
I compiled kernel from official kernel source code D618, added support scripts /system/etc/init.d/ and CPU overclocking (up to 1.6 GHz).
Installing
Monolithic OS users can install this kernel through installing update v1.2!
1. Download and put to storage: >>>LINK<<<
2. Go to recovery and wipe cache.
3. Flash downloaded .zip and reboot.
4. Reboot again!
5. This is all.
To set up CPU frequency and another kernel parametres use: Kernel Auditor

No. But I can add it with new I/O shedulers (like in CyanogenExtended) when I will have time.

ok , lets do it.
Nice bro, a slightly customized cm kernel may interest some users
Keep up :good:
Not sure what your kernel did but it fixes my finger print reader/home button. Yay
I love your selection of governors! Might have to try out this kernel later!

Its maybe coz of i have used cm source to build it
@yarpiin So is the point of this kernel to be the kernel for people who don't want to mess with kernels? I know I'm always nervous about changing something I didn't mean to change in kernel settings, but if the stuff we shouldn't touch if we don't know what it does just isn't there, that would probably be great to many people!

It is basicly untouched CM source kernel with just added some features ,
there is always a risk in fiddling with kernel but im not big fan of OC of mobile cpus or playing with voltages so you wont find things like that in here .
you can change frequency , scaling governor , or scheduler , switch cores on/off and thats it no black magic
Yay!
Kernel is real!
Go 'n flash this baby guys, you won't regret it :good:

Is that an actual problem or did Dev just not put any Kernel info yet?
Do we need to flash UKM zip with this?
Charge control would be sickkk

Kcal control would be a great addition to the kernel..
Just a suggestion :silly:

Does this kernel support Headphone Volume Boost? I tried other Kernel's but face an issue where Headphone Volume Boost changes boost the in-call volume as well
