Can't download paid apps i receive Error 403 Android market. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I purchased Tasker android app on the android market 7th march. When i try to download that app i receive "Error Takser could not be downloaded due to and error. (403)". My bank confirm Google charged, but i can't download it. If i visit android market using web browser i can see i already purchased it. If i clear cache data on "Play store" app its not work? Are there any solution?

Why don't you contact the developer with your order number and see if he can help

Email google about this issue.
I'm having this issue with all my Android Devices....this is apparently a problem with google. I've been in contact with them and they said their were issues with teh conversion to Google Play. I've been dealing with this for 2 weeks and have access to free apps, but I can't buy any. I've been forced to purchase apps from the Amazon Appstore. Google apparently doesn't want my money....I've been sending emails to google and the developers of the apps I purchased (Scrubs and Cut the Rope: Experiments) and have had literally NO correspondence from google or the the developers. This sucks, as I just got my Prime and Picked up a Used A100, now Google is screwing me....Just some bad news...considering that it's been 2 weeks since this issue cropped up for me and the fact that Google (and it appears the developers) are ignoring my emails, I'm going to assume two things, Google doesn't care, suggesting you start a new google account and re-buying your apps, or it's a known issue and they just don't want to deal with us right now....I just want a straight answer....It could be months before this is fixed....I recommend emailing google ASAP.

I have the same issue. Galaxy S2.
I downloaded an application ($20) from a forum to test it before purchasing, now after uninstalling it, it says i've already purchased it!
So i go to click INSTALL (no Buy button) in the Market (Google Play) and it says error 403 or something..
I thought I would be smart and download the AppBrain appstore. Well the STUPID thing is there is no reason to ever use this, as it just opens up the Market and wants me to install again without buying!
I tried to do the same thing with the Amazon app store, but they too divert you back to the Market app (market:// I assume)
Has anyone got any ideas on how I can "reset" or make the market think I haven't purchased this Application, and be able to purchase it legitimately and support the developer and receive frequent updates form the developer????
Thank you very very much!

Don't worry dude, every android users are facing the same issue all over the world. It is the Google's side that is having issues.
My google play have your issue intermediately few days ago.

I've had the same problem so I decided to use Wifi from home. I found that by using my home wifi that I was able to update. I know this doesn't help the problem if you are not connected to wifi but if you are at home - it might help

Just started getting this error again. Anyone else? Tried clearing store cache, dalvik-cache and google framework cache. Still gives a 403 error when attempting to download a paid app.

I just did a factory reset on my phone, and all my apps, free and paid installed no problem.. except Smart Keyboard Pro. It showed "purchased", I clicked it and told it to install (from the PC), and that was over an hour ago. I have restarted, and it still wont download, i get the 403 error each time..
I'm open for ideas...

Sometimes if you don't purchase the app from google it will say purchased but won't let you download it.

Thanks!

Your suggestion works perfectly! Unfortunately, it is requiring me to repurchase an app I've already paid for and I don't want to repay. I know, I know $2.99 is not going to break the bank; but it's kinda the principle. No worries, if I don't find an alternative solution I will be forking over the cash.

So I have had this ongoing issue as well for over 9 months. Tech support was a joke, like some of you have figured out.
Somehow, with no intervention from me, the problem fixed itself both on the website and the device. Not sure what happened, but im happy it did. I was fairly close to cutting all ties to google services over this, guess I dont have to now.

Here appslova.com have compiled solutions to fix error 403:
Method 1: The most common fix for most Android market or Google Play related errors.
Go to system settings>> Accounts>>Google>>remove your Gmail account
Now from settings>>Apps>>All> Force stop, Clear data and cache for Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager (like in method 1)
Now again go to settings>> Accounts>>Google>>Add your gmail account
Restart your android and then accept all the Google terms and setup Google settings
Rerun Google Play Store and update or install your app.
Method 2-Clearing Proxy:
Go to settings>>Wireless and Networks>>More>>Mobile Networks
APN (Access Point Name)>>MOWAP>>Edit
Select clear Proxy option
Try to re-run the installation in Google Play Store
Method 3-Router Proxy Settings:
Open your router configuration or settings panel (example- typing 192.168.1.1 on the browser brings up the router settings on my TP-Link router)
Now find your filter settings>>Uncheck Proxy
If that didn’t work also uncheck Cookies box from the filter settings
Now install your app from Google Play
Method 4- Alternative Google account
Create another Google account if you currently have only one account
Open Google Play Store>>Press Menu button>>Accounts>>select the alternative Gmail account
Now try installing the app
Method 5- Browser Fix: I found this solution on Phonebuff.com.
Go to play.google.com on your Computer’s web browser (preferably Google Chrome).
Sign into your Google account (by hitting the sign-in button at the top right).
Search for the app you wish to purchase and download.
Open the app’s page up by clicking the title link.
On the “install” or “purchase” button, right click and press “inspect element.”
Above the row that will be highlighted, you’ll see several lines of code. Locate the “data-ispurchased=”true” code (near the bottom of the paragraph).
Double click on the “true” in data-is purchased=”true” and change it to “false” then press enter on your keyboard.
Now click on “installed” or “purchased” to buy the app as you normally would
These methods might seem like a lot of work but hopefully one of these methods will solve the 403 error for your Android.

"This item cannot be installed on your country" on andriod market

Hi guys,
I have been following xda-forums for a while now and it has been really helpful in solving issues reg. app / OS / etc. Keep the good work up.
My Galaxy tab 10.1 has issues in the market place, I am not able to find few apps in Android Market (app) which could b found while accessing from the Browser. For Example, lets say "Google Earth" or "Google Chrome to Phone", when I try to install them from the browser, I get a pop-up "This item cannot be installed on your country".
Why does android market hide apps and why am i not able to install them inspite of living in India, which is supported according to android market's website ?
I bought by tab in US and currently using it in India. Can this be the reason ?
Thanks in Advance Guys,
-Vick
You need to clear the data in the Market app and use a VPN connection
Thanks blue13x, but can u guide me how to clear the data in the Market app and setup a VPN connection ?
I think the problem is with the account you set up. The same happened to me because I have a Canadian market account. If you have a US credit card, you certainly can set up a US account for your Google checkout. Otherwise, you cannot bypass the location check when choosing apps. Once you have set up a US account, regardless of where you physically are, you can download all apps available in the US market. I find the best way to do this is logging in to Android Market on your computer and choose whatever you like. They will be downloaded to your tab automatically. The plus side is that Market also checks compatibility for you, which the version of Market on your tab won't.
If you only have an Indian credit card, then you are out of luck my friend, I am afraid.
US Credit Card not mandatory
Hello,
I am also facing the same problem as I purchased my Galaxy Tab from US and I am now using it in Egypt.
I first changed my country in my Google account >> didn't work
Then I created a Google Checkout account with my "Egyptian" credit card but with an address in the US >> it worked BUT the Android Market issue still the same !!
Can I change country settings from within the Galaxy Tab itself ?
Guys, I have the same problem, the 7" had the market enabler to trick the GSM network
Now with the 10.1 wifi, u shud use a vpn, buy one from WiTopia, I just recommend it cuz I ve been using it on my tabs, PC's etc....
Now you get a vpn, u can present in any country u want now I look as am i n the US, but I can move to Europe or Asia anytime with my vpn, virtually
PS I live now in Qatar
Sabba7 to my Egyptian friend over here
Sent from my GT-P7510 using XDA Premium App
Sabba7 ya gennoz !
A friend just sent me Market Access app but I did not try it yet.
I just can't figure how the galaxy tab recognized the location is not USA.
So how much is this VPN from WiTopia ?
The same here, in Russia. What if set up my google checkout account with US card, will it help? I dont want to use VPN. Also, may be there is just some market enabler patch around?
You can use market access - and it should be on boot
Sent from my GT-P7500 using XDA App
I tried market enabler with no luck
Not just outside the US
bought my galaxy tab in ohio and use it in ohio. I get the same problems regarding not being able to install in your country. I have, however, been able to download the same apps from the android marketplace website. I reported the problem to google market tech support but their answer didn't work. Needs to be fixe

Hi
Thank you for your reply. If you are not able to remove updates, your Market app or your device is reporting your location incorrectly. This could be due to the Market being corrupt, or some other issue with your device. For support with your device, I recommend you contact the manufacturer or carrier directly. I have provided a link to both below for your convenience:
Sprint:
Samsung
To resolve issues with the Market, I recommend you perform a factory reset on your device. Please note that this will reset your device to its original state. While your media content (photos, music, etc.) will not be deleted from the SD card, applications and their related data will be uninstalled.
Before the factory reset, make sure that your contacts are synced to your Google account by signing into Gmail from a computer and verifying if your contacts appear there. If your contacts are not synced, then I recommend updating your sync settings at Settings > Accounts and Sync and choosing either AutoSync or touching the account you would like to sync and choosing "Sync Contacts."
Along with syncing contacts, please back up any important application data and/or settings by navigating to Settings > Privacy and selecting "Back up my data'"and "Automatic restore."
To perform a factory reset:
1) Go to Home > Menu > Settings > Privacy 2) Press "Factory data reset" 3) Press "Reset tablet"
After you perform the factory reset, make sure you sign into your device with the same primary Google Account you were using before. If you have any questions or concerns before performing the reset, or if doing so does not resolve the issue, please let me know so I can continue to investigate the issue.

Country issues with Galaxy Tab 10.1
Hello!
I am new to all of this, but can relate to what all of you are saying about the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
I bought one in New York and the Samsung agent at Best Buy told me I would have no issues with it at all. Wherever there was wi-fi, I would be able to use the device without any problems. He also told me I would have a world-wide warranty.
However, I too am having issues with Market and the ability to install "UK based" apps, for example BBC iPlayer, or Beebplayer. It tells me this app cannot be installed in your country. Now Market won't load at all.
I also tried to register my device on the Samsung website, but without success. I called Samsung and they told me the device is not supported in the UK. Any device with a model number beginning in "GT-P" won't be supported apparently.
If I had any idea that I would have such issues, I may not have bought one at all.
Is anybody any further on in figuring out how to get the device to recognise the country it is being used in? I am happy to do a factory reset as I don't have anything on the device yet, but would this action help it "think" it was living in the UK!!? OR, can the creation of a UK Google account fix the problem?
Best Regards,

Yes, market enabler will not work with the wifi only version of the GT. There needs to be some modification of the build.prop file or you can get around it by clearing the market apps cache and using the vpn method described above.
1: rooted tab 10.1
2: cleared all caches including advanced with power/volume menus
3: Even with vpn was being blocked by the out of country message
4: set clocks in all routers/modums and the galaxy tab to same time zone as vpn server (some sites track your time zone).
5: repowered router
6: changed vpn server location
I had cleared caches previously so I don't think that was it but one or more of the other steps fixed my problem and I have full access to market
If you have trouble with your market account sign in, go to web --samsungdive.com --and reset your account there, then return to Tab and reenter account data.
I kind of ran into a version of this problem, but with some apps that would not accept US currency on Google Checkout. Since you can only use a credit card, and mine won't allow out of US transactions I was stuck.
ADWLauncher folks directed me to AndroidPIT.com. They don't have everything, but what is available can be downloaded as APK and you can use paypal and other payment methods.
Worth a shot for some things.

Modaco posted instructions a while ago RE using the Amazon Android app store from outside the US, might be worth trying similar steps for the Google Market.
http://android.modaco.com/topic/336...tore-from-outside-the-us-including-paid-apps/
Amazon's Appstore for Android does not seem to have this problem and will allow me to purchase and install from China whereas Market will not. Amazon does not have quite the full selection as Market, but I have been able to find almost everything I wanted there.
guys i am facing this issue
i tried everything from apps like market enabler to US vpn and US credit card. nothing changes. Many times i cleared market data without success.
still cannot install apps. It says item cannot be installed in your country !!
please someone help.
my solution for full market access
actually when you think about it, the very first possibility that the system can identify your location is through the internet connection.
So here is what I do;
0. In order for all the following procedures to work, you should have already set all the location parameters to US in your Google Account settings on the web. (Google Checkout, Calendar, Profile address, etc.)
1. Disconnect your tablet's wifi from the default access point (forget the connection)
2. Switch off your wifi connection, wipe the cache and data of the Market app, remove your Google account from the tablet's settings and restart your tablet
3. Then on your mobile phone switch off all the internet connections (wifi & mobile data) and restart your phone
4. After your phone turns on, the first thing you should do is to fake a US provider on the Market Enabler; after that you can enable the mobile data connection for internet access... but not the wifi. (we are avoiding as much as we can for our real ip not to appear on the other side)
5. On your mobile phone settings enable the "wifi hotspot"; which will be the access point for our tablet.
6. On your tablet fake a US provider with Market Enabler, as well... after that switch on your wifi and connect to your phone's mobile internet through wifi.
7. After the connection established launch the Market app; as you have your Google account removed before hand, it will ask you to sign in... do so and wait for the legal aggreement pop-up to appear. If you can see the terms "Google Book" and "Youtube" in this pop-up window, that will be the first clue that you have unlocked the full market access.
8. Confirm the aggreement and wait for all the market tabs to appear (Apps, Books, Movies)
As to my experience, the system is registering your location when you first set up your Google account on your tablet... and keeps it later on. That's why, no matter how many times you restart, wipe and/or redo fake procedures it doesn't help.
So, vital thing is to have the right conditions set before kicking your Google account on the tablet.
Hope this could do the trick for you all.

My tablet was purchased in US, I have a Google Apps US account with a US credit card. When I activated the device, I was in Canada. How do I make it revert to US? My Internet connection is in Canada with a US VPN.
I don't see any option to reset my SamsungDive account? Not to mention it displays 2 tablets there. The first tablet was the 16GB one that I exchanged for a 32GB model. Both tablets were purchased in US.
When I go to Android Market, I see Netflix listed, but when I try to install it, I get the message: "This item cannot be installed in your device's country." Thanks for your help.

Anyone else locked out of Amazon Market?

I'm using the stock os ... and in upgrading my Amazon market have now found that I can't access Amazon App Store any more. I'm told that (everything I try) is incompatible with my device. It used to work, though. Anyone have any ideas?

Here's the answer from Amazon:
Hello Al,
I am truly sorry about the troubles that you have been having. I have contacted our development team about this issue here about one week ago. They informed me that there was a increase devices that are not compatible with our apps, but they did not mean for it to take out almost everything for devices that clearly can handle the apps. They are working on getting it fixed but right now there is now estimated time for them to get this completed.
Thank you for your patients and look forward to seeing your soon.
Thank you for your recent inquiry. Did I solve your problem?
EPIC FAIL on Amazons part. On a side note, that was on a Froyo rom (calk+clemv6). I'm now on HC (GTabComb3.3) & Amazon work with it.
i an into this problem last week. Deleted the data and cache from the application itself, re-entered my login information, and everything was magically compatible again.
Go to Settings, applications, manage applications, all, find Amazon appstore, and delete cache, then delete data, force close it. Close settings, restart appstore. You'll need to provide login information again, and it shoul work.
Still getting Not Compatible message in Amazon Appstore
I have a Viewsonic G Tablet with the stock operating system, except I did repatition the sd card. When I loaded everything back up I saw that all of my apps were not in my account. At that time I was able to search manually and find and install them, but now I can't even do that. I tried loading the previous version of the appstore but the apps were still not in my account and when I found them it would redirect me to load them from my account, where they are not at. Has anyone found a way around this yet?

I've run into this as well. Amazon rebuilt their compatibility list at some point and the gTab is not listed as incompatible with nearly every app in the store. The reason your apps don't show up is that incompatible apps are filtered from search results, including your purchased apps. This restriction also seems to apply to the installer as well. Don't know any workarounds. I've already contacted Amazon on multiple occasions to bring this matter to their attention, but no action seems to have been taken.

Worked for me, I was getting increasing numbers of incompatible notifications especially for the free app of the day.
Amazon should learn...
About the only thing that the Amazon market had going for it, other than FAoD, is that I didn't have to worry about apps not appearing in searches because someone didn't recognize my device. As a frequent ROM flasher on a number of android devices, it's a pain when a market search shows up nothing even when you know it's there.
Amazon shouldn't follow google in this. If anything, they can just post a disclaimer "This app is not compatible with your device, if you want to purchase it anyway, click here, waiving any liability if it crashes your device, and indicating that you understand that you won't get a refund if it doesn't work." Or even just give advanced users a flag in their profile to sign this disclaimer once and turn on the ability to download "incompatible" apps.
Sometimes I get error logging that's about it

[Q] Google Play server error

On ICS and no problems till yesterday, was updating some apps on google play and had to leave the wifi area, closed the prime and next time I get server error. Tried stopping the app deletining cache, still same problem. So tried uninstalling all updates to play and got back to Market, still the same error. Tried a Factory reset and still getting the same error.
Any ideas anyone ?
Just tried looking at Google Play on the PC and does not now recognise the Prime even though Gmail has synched OK on it

Hi,
It might be worth deleting your account, re-booting, re-installing your account , and see if that works.
Tried that, eventually resorted to a Factory reset. Still the same problem and now the Prime is not recognised on the PC Google store whereas it was previously, but Gmail is syncing withe the Prime no problem, really weird. But if I cant access the store its not fit for purpose and is going back

Have you tried simply turning off your Prime's Wi-Fi setting and turning it back on? I got that same Server Error and did not go away until I turned of Wi-fi and back on. Weird, I know. This happened to me like 3 times when I was trying to delete caches and data and whatever else to get rid of the 101 error. Rebooting did not cure it, either ... I had to actually off/on the wi-fi setting. Go figure.
Once you get rid of the server error, if you still have the Market/Google Play error, simply delete your Gmail account under Settings | Accounts & sync by clicking on your Gmail account, then clicking the "options" icon on the upper right of your screen (6 small square dots). Reboot and go back into your gmail accounts, etc ... logging in as necessary.
Hope it works for you, too...
Have the same "server error" on 101 for 2 days already.
Tried everything, including changing to different firmwares, different market versions e.t.c. Not working. And old versions does not auto update too.
Seems like the problem with market server address, but it;s a bit strange that it remains even after changing firmware, and other Google services work normally.

You did not mention removing your Gmail account under Accounts & sync in Settings, then rebooting ... worked like a charm for me. As soon as I logged back into Gmail and went to the Market, all was well. So, if you did not already try it, you might give it a shot. My Prime was getting that error for a full day ... got really annoying.

Hi Michael,
It sounds like you're having general connectivity issues - please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
- Reboot your device
- Sign in and out of Google Talk repeatedly to restore connection to our servers:
1. Go to your device’s app launcher, and press the Talk app
2. If you’re already signed into Talk, press Menu, and then touch Sign out
3. Launch Talk again to sign in (if you are unable to sign in, please let me know)
- Clear the cache of the Google Play Store app (Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Play Store > Clear cache)
- If you're using WiFi, ensure firewalls are not blocking access to ports required for Google Play (TCP and UDP 5228)
- Confirm that there is strong connectivity on your device, and contact your mobile service provider if you aren't connected
- Uninstall updates to the Google Play Store app by visiting:
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications, selecting "Play Store" under the "All" tab or filter and touching "Uninstall updates"
If none of these steps resolve the issue, please let me know, and I will continue to investigate the problem - any other detail you can provide about the issue and how/when it occurs will be extremely helpful.

@TaIz82 @stevenshea great! Glad that it worked for you.
@G1azier I tried vpn but no use, maybe I got on wrong one Great that there is this solution too.
@macowbourne
This can hardly be an general connection issue, I have around 600 people visited my blog post, with same issue. And they didn't have it ever before.
One more proof that this is not connectivity problem, all this user can search apps from the phone, but they cant install them in most of cases. So connection to server still exist, problem is with showing filtered content of home screen of Play app for some regions/providers.
Thanks to @G1azier post and his solution, I updated my post with US VPN solution that works even if device is not rooted http://viewoneworld.wordpress.com/2012/03/24/google-play-server-error-quick-fix check it out!
It's definetly at Googles end just used a proxy server to kid it I'm in the UK and hey ho works perfectley all apps downloaded and synced

Hi Michael,
It sounds like you're having general connectivity issues - please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

[Q] Unable to download from Google Play

Hello,
I am using HTC explorer (Android 2.3.5) for about a month now. For the past 2 days I am facing a strange problem. I am unable to download apps from Google Play via internet pass through. I am able to browse the internet but when I try to download any application, a grey bar appears saying "Waiting for network" and it never ends. I am able to download the same apps through Wifii. I tried all the possible solutions to make this work (hard reset, soft reset), but found no luck. I changed the default 2GB sd card with a 4GB sd card same days back. But even after that I was able to download via internet pass through. This is little strange. Can somebody help me in this respect.
Thanks in advance,
Nirmal Kumar Bhogadi
Try to clear cache and data of play store
I'm having the same issue. I've used internet pass through on my EVO 3D for quite a while, thinking about changing plans to less data. Pass through works fine for almost everything, but suddenly won't download Google Play updates. But if I clear data and cache, it then thinks there is no update. It is as though it updated, but doesn't recognize it as having completed. The one thing I haven't been able to update ever by PT is new maps for CoPilot Live. It absolutely insists on wi-fi.
Clear data from google services framework, fixes most problems with Google apps.

Thanks for your replies guys!!!
I cleared the data of google services framework, play store but still the problem exists. I am still unable to download from play store via internet pass through
SOLUTION
Hi there,
go to settings> applications>put a tick mark or select unknown sources . Ur problem wil be solved.
Thanks G_IVAR, for posting a reply. But the option is already checked. The only way is working is to settings--> applications--> Manage applications--> Google Play Store and click on Uninstall updates. The Play Store disappears on the phone and the Old market appears. Now when i try to download any application (with internet pass through), the download starts (making me happy) and disappears within 5-10 seconds. When I check my phone this time, again Google Play appears instead of Market. I think the Google guys have made something so that the market apps doesn't download with internet pass through (with a USB cable).

It worked for me too but I have to uninstall the updates on Google Play Store everytime
This probably won't help, but I'm curious. What happens if you go to Google Play via a PC and try to do a remote install that way?

Thanks for contacting us about this issue- it sounds like you're having general connectivity issues. It's frustrating for us when users have problems with connectivity, because there is only so much we can do before you need to contact your service provider. However, I'd like you to try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve this quickly:
- Reboot your device
- Confirm that the app Google Authenticator is up to date - visit Google Play, then tap My Apps to see if you have an update available
- Sign in and out of Google Talk to restore connection to our servers:

Hi there,
I'm using a Sensation, and also having this problem. It's really most annoying.Any idea how widespread this problem is, or if it is something that Google has disabled deliberately?
Me too... but I'm able to download using JellyBean... but ICS can't..
Accidentally sent from my Google Nexus S

Error 927 Google Play.

I am having some issues with Google Play giving error 927 when updating/downloading apps.
This happens both on wifi and cellular.
Both on my Note 2 on Sammy rom and Desire on 4.2.2.
Is there anything I can do?

I have faced a similar problem long back.. I have done the below steps to recover..
Uninstall updates for Playstore
Clear data for Downlaod manager
Keep the phone connected to internet and reboot
after reboot wait for couple of minutes so that Playstore update will be installed properly.. Then try updating your apps..
I've tried everything
I have tried evey solution that I could possible find to try and stop getting error 927. It's definitly linked to my google account/gmail. When I create a new gmail, everything works fine. Problem is all of my purchased apps are attached to gmail with 927 error. Someone please help. I'm desperate!!!! I have Verizon Galaxy S4. Doesn't matter what I wipe, if I'm rooted or not, or if I try using my account on my wife's S4... All give me error 927!!!

I'm actually having this same exact problem on my Note 3. I tried changing my Google password, but continue to have problems. I pulled a logcat and posted it here in case anyone can interpret it.

What version of the play store are you running? Also, do you have the background restricted for the play store?
Try the newest Play Store if yours is not up to date. I remember the issue in my S4 and newest version solved it after wiping data and install update.

It is a issue @ Google, nothing you can do on your phone to fix it. Contact Google support. I have a support case there, and need more people to bug them, so they have to fix it.

Yes its the same account I've had going all the way back to the first Android phone. It has gotten better. I ODIn'ed back from a 4.4.2 ROM to a custom 4.3 ROM and my market works most of the time. When it starts actign up I usually have to clear data/wipe caches, restart and wait a bit for it to resync my account. Kind of a pain, but working most of the time is better than none of the time.

How are the Play store on the web working for you when signed in with the account you are having issues with. For me I have trouble loading in anything @all. Especially the top list, and my purchases.
I believe there are issues with older accounts that did not get updated/patched with new settings after ICS update, or the 3.0+ update of their store when it became Play Store and not Android market. When I use my other account all is ok, but there I have no purchased apps.
If you want you can find the 2.3.6 version of Market and replace the Play store and you will find that all issues are gone. Now I use Legazy Play store witch can be used together with normal play. Just need to push it to system/apps on 4.3 or system/priv-apps on 4.4.
Use all this advise at own risk.

Anyone have any luck with this/ age of Gmail accounts?
I just recently started having this issue on a stock GS4A on at&t. Maybe a week ago could not get updates and wrote it off as a busy server then realized this weekend I could not get anything new.
I tried every fix I could find on the forums and even a fix that the 2nd tier Google tech suggested (no different from the forum fixes other than including turning the automatic date/time on and off). Every method was a band-aid at best: one or two apps can come through before I get the 927 error or the DF-BPA-30 error. At least the error codes are consistent...
I honestly think this is related to the age of my account. I have had a Gmail account since 2007 or so when I believe it was still in beta. I am surmising that older accounts are on an older server or something that is having issues. I made two dummy accounts and could download anything I wanted, so there is nothing wrong with my handset or connections. The temporary work-around I am using is adding a secondary gmail account and adding any apps through it, while still using primary for mail, contacts, and calendar. I am not a heavy user, so it works, but I should not have to patch it together like this!
So- anyone who is getting this error; how long have you been a Google user? Anyone else tried "old vs new" for a cause of the error?
When I replied to the 2nd tier tech I told him his method did not work, but asked to look into the account itself. I'll update if I have anything to say.

Ask to get your case transferred to apps division. There I got real help. They are really good. And have helped me a lot.
There are two possible methods to solve error 927 on android:
Method 1:
Go to settings>>”All”>>Select “Google Play Store”
Now Force Stop>>Clear Data>>Clear Cache
Now again try downloading or updating the app
If the above didn’t work, go to settings>>”All”>>Select “Google Play Store”>>Uninstall Updates
Again, from “All”>> Select “Download Manager”>>Clear Data and Cache
Rerun Google Play Store and install/update your app or game
Method 2:
Go to system settings>> Accounts>>Google>>remove your Gmail account
Now from settings>>Apps>>All> Force stop, Clear data and cache for Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager (like in method 1)
Now again go to settings>> Accounts>>Google>>Add your gmail account
Restart your android and then accept all the Google terms and setup Google settings
Rerun Google Play Store and update or install your app.
How to Fix Error 927 in Android
Free Some Space on your device
Clear data and cache files of Google Play Store
Stop or Uninstall Google Play Store (Updates)
Add New Gmail Account
Hope it helped you....
Try the methods below
Free some space on your device
Clear data and cache in Google Play Store
Add new Google account
Uninstall updates of Google Play store
It is the most annoying issue facing by many Android users, that occurs when you download or update any games and apps from the Google play store. But for me, this error solved by the just clear cache.
