Palm Folding Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Hey guys! I just bought a Palm Folding Bluetooth Keyboard for my Note. I thought it would be the perfect companion for my Note especially since I have a case with a kickstand. Do any of you have one? How well does it work? Mine won't get here until next week so...

How much?

I bought it used for $29.99 + $5.00 shipping, they seem to be MUCH more expensive everywhere else on eBay.. funny I believe these were cheaper before the iPad came out and "Tablets" became popular.

The issue with my by keyboard (not palm) is that every time I connect it makes me switch to the Samsung soft keyboard. Total pain.

My Moto BT keyboard switches the phone to Samsung kb also. It must be either 2.3.6 or TW doing it, rather than our hardware. But it is a pia to switch back every time.

have the same one, but branded HP. It works well, i wrote a guide somewhere here (topic titled "just got this for my note!") the only thing is, the note wont stand up in portrait mode of the stand, and to make it work in landscape you have to clip off the two protruding tabs on the flip up stand.

Ahh then the keyboard will be great! One more thing... the keyboard eats through batteries very quickly

Mine no longer does anything when I press and hold the BT pairing key in the top left; oddly at first at did give me blinkies and my N7 saw it, but had trouble pairing. I've tried numerous batteries and even voltage tested to make sure they were good.Anyone have suggestions?

Anyone using this for their 7.7? I'm assuming that the keyboard will work fine, wondering about the tab's fit in the slot (portrait or landscape), and also if the tab fits in the case snugly or floats around.
Thanks.

Don't have that but am eying this one

Seems to have a good review and is more compact as well as works with all platforms. Waiting to see if it comes down a little on price.

Looks nice but it would be nice to have a slot to prop the tab on, but very nice looking nonetheless

It is way to big for the 7.7.
The keyboard is designed to be a case and keyboard.
It may hold the 7.7 in the slot but it will not fit as a case.

At Amazon, it is inexpensive so why not get one and let us know what you think.

Thanks. I realized later that the 10.1 Tab actually fits inside, I didn't make that connection earlier. I might get this one, but will continue to look. The major bummer of this device is that because it didn't sell well at all, the accessory pool is so limited.
A Keyboard/Case combo is fine for a larger tablet, but for 7" I found that something like that would make the keyboard way too small/cramped to make it worth using. When I need to use a hardware keyboard, I either plug the old wired keyboard I have that was for the Samsung Q1U UMPC or the HP wireless one I bought that connects via USB dongle (need OTG adapter for it).
I like both of these because they have built-in pointing devices and you don't have to reach up from the keyboard to touch the screen or carry an extra mouse to move the cursor. If you look at the pic below, you'll see two round buttons on the upper left and right sides of the keyboard and that's for the optical mouse and left click (press down on the optical mouse sensor to get a right-click).
I bought this thing for $35 last year, but now just noticed the prices have shot through the roof at $90! Here's the cheapest one I could find: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-WIRELESS-MINI-KEYBOARD-LK752AA-ABL-BLACK-/271138360926?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f211b0e5e

Quality Keyboard Case
I ordered one similar from caseinthebox.com. There was some skepticism about the validity but I paid via PayPal and chose slow boat from china delivery. The keyboard is removable which I liked. I will update once I get it in 10 to 20 days.

Wait up! I bought a case for the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 when I ordered my Tab Pro 10.1 and the case doesn't work for my Tab Pro 10.1.... So be careful because there's a good chance it will not work...
You may be right though because this one is a leather case with opening on the corners, and the one I purchased was a hard case and covered the corners, so I couldn't get mine to fit into it because of that. From the looks of this one it should work, but better to be safe and take your tablet with you and ask to try it.

Neither Samsung has the best quality. I bought a flip cover original and had to polished interior. Camera image quality was affected.

nexus 6 case with stand as a bonus gift
Ok your going to LOVE LOVE this
i have no idea why and how this is so cheap
but i love this stand and i love this case. Id happily pay over $20 for this. Please come back and give me your thoughts if you buy it, im sure this is a price error because it just doesnt make sense to me....
They have it in a few other colours so iv ordered a few more tonight so i can leave the stand in different parts of my home
**** IM A NEW MEMBER SO IM NOT ALLOWED TO POST LINKS***
you can find it on usa amazon if you type in nexus 6 case basezip
I use a Flygrip. It works as a horizontal and vertical stand and keeps me from dropping the phone. I having been using one since my Note 2 and always the first accessory I buy.
I use a plastic business card holder on my nightstand. Cheap and simple. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E6EWVW/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_iapCub1KJB7Y8
But seriously, just google DIY phone stand, you'll get a zillion of them you can do for nothing. Personally I think the second one is just funny as can be...

I like this one as it is natural small and portable
or if you like bigger one
you can search on AMAZON for MINIMAL PHONE STAND
I bought this Anker Stand from Amazon a couple of years ago and have used it for 3 different phones and 4 different tablets. Still works great, and the ability to change the angle is a really nice bonus.

I've always used a Wii u game pad stand. Works great for either orientation. http://m.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Genui...ler-Black-Stand-Holster-WUP-016-/182197090087

Armband?

I just got the Nexus 6 as a replacement for a defective device. Long story, it's not a size I would have chosen, but I'm falling in love with this beast against my will.
I'm not a large person, but I'm pretty active. Obviously my old jogging armband doesn't work with the 6. Has anyone found one that will? Ideally with the case on it? I have this case on it. It's a PITB to get off.
Thanks for any advice you have.
I have this one I got from Amazon.
I like it a lot, but you won't be able to use your case with it.

I have a little fabric armband that a friend gave me the other day. It's actually for a iPhone 6+ so the headphone jack hole is at the bottom. No biggie I can flip the phone upside down in the case. It stays in there fine. I used it for the first time today to work out. Um.. well during one arm rows whenever I'd pull up the weight the volume would go down. At one point I'd somehow booted into the bootloader screen. It was insane. I couldn't help but laugh at myself. I almost hardcore factory reset my phone while working out with just my left bicep.
Moral of the story? Try to find an armband that is made for this phone. I'm sure I can use the armband my friend gave me for running but nothing else. For those wondering this is the armband. I hope I can post this link.

I have the supcase armband as well. Have had it for several weeks and gone on several runs with it. It holds great and you can actually remove the band from it and use it as a case as well. My only complaint, which I don't know if you would even call it a complaint is that the velcro on the armband holds REALLY well. To the point where it is a little bit of a struggle to pull it loose.
Thank you all very much!

+1 also interested. Even more annoying, when the clip came off and got lost, my s-pen was attached to it at the time

Purchase some Gorilla Glue to glue the holder down permanently, also get a bit of carbon fiber of ebay cover up the broken bit. Then it will looks nice! Job Done!
It will be nice to have a keyboard cover that could hide the s-pen behind the tab, comes with touch pad and attach with the pogo connector. Those are the features coming with Tab S6 keyboard cover.

There is not a good solution to your problem you'll either have to buy a new case or you can get some black epoxy and permanently glue the holder to the case.
