I'm trying to get this to work for my phone, but all the graphics are white!
I have used chainfire3D and downloaded the data that was "optimized" for our device but still all the textures are white (except the HUD and a few textures)

Reduce texture quality with QUALCOMM plugin
most of SGY users getting this problem.. I think its due to GPU... may future updates to GPU driver will solve this...
Tick rduce texture size
Tick reduce texture quality.
Tick disable rgba emu.
Tick map buffering.
Choose qualcomm.
Dont forget use fix market setting.
Im play gangstars west coast hustle without lag.
Also gangstar miami vindication.
Just press thanks if it helped

just try 2 clear all the data...uninstall n remove the complete data file..then reinstall..will work most of the time..

Don't affraid coz its just a aplication who make ur phone can play hd game
Effect instead to your gallery make your gallery blur
How to fix it??? Just untick ur cf3d setting and use fix market setting

Uninstall cf3d correctly i.e
*open cf3d < cf3d drive < uninstall
* clear date from setting < manage application < cf3d
* again install cf3d , load plugin etc
And play your game
**** If you use cm7 egl lib than remove it and use stock egl lib ****
**** if you move cf3d in sd card than move it to phone ****
**** cf3d setting for gangster****
Open default opengl setting
Tick both reduce texture size and quality

Can you send me the stock libs ? I didn't make a back-up when i replaced for cm7

I keep getting white textures. My settings are: Reduce texture quality, reduce texture size, disable mapbuffer emu, disable RGBA emu, and plugin qualcomm. Using Evo 4.2 room, stock kernel and CF3D in phone memory.

I have a problem, i instaled cf3d and quatron(or something like that) plugins but when i change any settings (reduce texture size,unroll to 32bit etc.) I get no changes no performance changes or graphics just nothing please help

I have install assassin creed altair chronicles hvga on my x8 which is currently running cynogenmod 7.1 and i have put its game data in correct location.But when i open it the video play but after video the game is not started , the screen becomes black. What i do....please help me....

CM7.1 is s**t. Use GDX, MiniCM7, Firedroid.... CM7.1 has horrible performance...

Tap the screen for two or more times the a button will show up..press that and voila !

It's depend on ROM you used & The VM Heap you set.
Higher VM Heap = Performance but, -Battery
Lower VM Heap = -Performance but, +Battery
And VM Heap doesn't mean your speed is going skyhigh, it is just increase VM memory for app to work.
I usually set it to 64M when the app goes black

our phone doesn't support the high graphics of asphalt 8 so don't bother with that because you'll get massive lag

if u r rooted then using any file manage xplore etc. open ur system folder and search for ur build.prop file open it for editting in a text editor and look out for a line which says model change that to GT-I9505 (SGS4) save the file and reboot and u should launch the game then it will automatically start in high gfx mode with all gfx modes available good luck

I just downloaded Modern Combat 5 on my Tab S (10.5) and it looks terrible. It just doesn't seem optimized for the tab s. Very blurry/fuzzy looking. Anybody else have this problem?

This game could be like Photoshop on QHD screens, it just doesn'twork.
It is - as usual - looking brilliant only on a few devices, none of which is manufactured by samsung. It will - as usual, too - change until next versions are released. What you can do as for now...
1) decompile Modern Combat 5 apk file using apktool, edit /res/values/scaleprofile.json and set all the "value" keys varying from 85-50 to 100 or add your model symbol ("sm-t700" or "sm-t705") in "specific section" right after other models which are forced to use 100% resolution, recompile again (I cannot however say if recompiling apks is breaking or is not breaking gameloft's license... if it does then it will be illegal to do it, anyway!) - this will increase the resolution.
EDIT: indeed, the file can be edited and re-packed to apk without compiling at all, just using some archiver like winrar and opening apk file. However, after replacing the file you will need to re-sing the apk.
2) use GLTools and force mock Tegra 4 GPU - this will enable the highest quality setting.
Tested on Note Pro 12.2 LTE which is almost same hardware as TabS's LTE. After enabling both above tweaks game still run fine, but looks MUCH better.
I have the same problem with my tab pro 10.1 wifi. It seems the probelm is related to exynos chipset. Is there any possible woraround that doesnt require root?
can this tablet even handle playing at full resolution? I doubt it will run any faster than 30fps..

We sure hope so.....this game isn't really that gpu intensive, runs fine on my N5 in the proper resolution.

They released an update but still no change. Apparently they added the option to change GFX setting on some devices but still not on the tab S.

-select "optimise glsl shaders"
-select "use fake gpu info"
-go to "use a template" and choose tegra 4 (shield)
