I have install assassin creed altair chronicles hvga on my x8 which is currently running cynogenmod 7.1 and i have put its game data in correct location.But when i open it the video play but after video the game is not started , the screen becomes black. What i do....please help me....

CM7.1 is s**t. Use GDX, MiniCM7, Firedroid.... CM7.1 has horrible performance...

It's depend on ROM you used & The VM Heap you set.
Higher VM Heap = Performance but, -Battery
Lower VM Heap = -Performance but, +Battery
And VM Heap doesn't mean your speed is going skyhigh, it is just increase VM memory for app to work.
I usually set it to 64M when the app goes black

You can easily un-ECM it. Download it here - http://www.neillcorlett.com/downloads/ecm100.zip
Then just drag your .ecm file into unecm. Then you will see in black screen that your bin file is making.
When you try any game - please write ir here.

I can't seem to get nhl2001 to run very long it crashes to home screen after about 2-3 min of playing. I tried with your settings and still nothing. too bad it plays great with frame skip. Even faster than fpsece! are you able to play a full game or is it crashing 4 u 2?

OMG ps1 games actually work on tattoo??
I was thinking of checking it out but I thought it would be a waste of time...
okay I checked gran turismo 1 and... wth? 50fps? not even close, I got about 10-15 fps or so, is there an option to view fps during a game?
i also played gta 2 and quake 2. Both play slower than supposed to. Maybe I have wrong settings. Could you show ALL of your settings? thanks in advance

Because you're running it on an HTC Tattoo with no GPU! Its not magic!

Wipeout - Perfect - 50-60fps
Try adjusting your CPU and JIT or something...
I run GTA Mission Pack 1 ... Percfectly... No lagg great game. I'm about to try other roms

Hi could anybody test final fantasy ix on the tattoo?
I tried ffix disc 1 pal on the newest version of fpse and it was running great until i came to the menu. When i press new game then it is supposed to come a video but instead it frezes at the black screen just after i press new game. I have cyanogenmod 7.0.3 on my tattoo its overclocked to 653.8 mhz. and i cant overclock it higher cuz the whole phone frezes or restarts and i use setcpu. please help cuz the most reason i got fpse is cuz of final fantasy.
i will try ntsc version and see if it work but still any help will be appritiated.

I'm trying to get this to work for my phone, but all the graphics are white!
I have used chainfire3D and downloaded the data that was "optimized" for our device but still all the textures are white (except the HUD and a few textures)

most of SGY users getting this problem.. I think its due to GPU... may future updates to GPU driver will solve this...

Tick disable rgba emu.
Tick map buffering.
Choose qualcomm.
Dont forget use fix market setting.
Im play gangstars west coast hustle without lag.
Also gangstar miami vindication.

Don't affraid coz its just a aplication who make ur phone can play hd game
Effect instead to your gallery make your gallery blur
How to fix it??? Just untick ur cf3d setting and use fix market setting

I keep getting white textures. My settings are: Reduce texture quality, reduce texture size, disable mapbuffer emu, disable RGBA emu, and plugin qualcomm. Using Evo 4.2 room, stock kernel and CF3D in phone memory.

First of all i'd like to thanks for your work.
I had install Alpha 5 ICS in my folio 100 tablet and i think that it's a PERFECT rom but i have a problem and i'd like to know if it happend only to me.
When i put the tablet in standby (press power button) and i turn it on after some minutes the screen blink for minutes and i . Then it return normal.
is there anyone that have this problem?
Is it a problem of the rom or of my hardware?

I have the same problem. For me it looks like switching to applications reduces a lot the flickering, and makes it stop a lot sooner.

I have sometimes flicker in wake, but still very reasonable.
This also happens when starting the Folio (very rare), this on the original kernel or amended by the Botto00 (OC+387 Mo).
Can not write about the thread development, I want to thank the developers for this great alpha5.
It works great and is very stable.
-I have only noticed a few crashes during games (screen that completely blocks), as well as the modified kernel OC.
-An issue with the judgment of the Folio. It happens that it freezes at that time, which means that it 's not extinguish. Similarly as with the modified kernel of OC.
-Sometimes the sound does not work correctly on some installations (excluding cracks). The sound is simply inaudible on games.
Overall, that is very good, also modified the kernel botto00 works well. (I don' t use it with overclocking).
Here are the games tested on the Alpha (GT-P7510 build.prop) with kernel OC+387 of botto00 :
Asphalt 6, Canabalt, Dead Space, GTA 3 (download data by automating the time zone), Mass Effect (taken on another device), ShadowGum, Nova 2 and many others.
Does not work :
Modern Combat 3, to CM7 yes.
In the general operation :
-Since the Alpha, more opportunities to uninstall apps by the Drawer of Trebuchet.
-Highly theme manager

works for me, you have to launch it for first time and download data using 160DPI, then you can swtich back to 120DPI and it will work nicely

I have less problem with a DPI of 160 than 120.
In addition, we use a build of Galaxy Tab has a DPi of 151 .....
For The Settlers HD, that is possible to get rid of the white screen.
You need the version for Tegra and use Chainfire 3D with PowerVR plugins.

Yes to CM7, that was the same problem as on many devices.
Use the PowerVR plugins, uncheck Use default setting and check Reduce texture quality. No choice ......
Unroll textures that crashes the game.
Now i see it right,but the game crashes in the first seconds of the first mission,...
No FC, it closes.

our phone doesn't support the high graphics of asphalt 8 so don't bother with that because you'll get massive lag

if u r rooted then using any file manage xplore etc. open ur system folder and search for ur build.prop file open it for editting in a text editor and look out for a line which says model change that to GT-I9505 (SGS4) save the file and reboot and u should launch the game then it will automatically start in high gfx mode with all gfx modes available good luck
