Need some help from someone with a Seidio case - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

I've decided to make my own car dock to fit with a seidio. Problem is I don't have my case yet and the kydex is ordered so I need to get started on making the wooden mold. To do this I need the measurements from someone with a Seidio case. Nothing fancy, just top to bottom, side to side, and of course thickness. I really appriciate any help anyone is willing to give me on this project.

C'mon now, I know someone out there has this case and is willing to measure the thing for me. Maybe I need to contact Seidio.

A Leather Case for my brick

Hello,
since today i have for my TYTN the Seidio 3200mAH Battery in use.
But, its a brick (but I love it) and I need a case for it
Do you have tips for an leather case (pouch oder others) you fits the brick.
I tested the Seido Leather Case, hard way to take the phone out of the the case....
Thanks!!!
Oliver
Friend, you are in the situation i didn't want to be in. I was going to buy one of those battery types. Best advice is to go for a silicon one piece case from ebay. read my review. And put your other default battery back in the phone. Just use the bigger battery in emergencies.
I have yet to find a decent case that would fit the Hermes when its got the backpack on it like the one you are using. I spent weeks searching online for various cases too. You may get lucky. It may pay you to email someone like MK on ebay who make their own cases I think. I can't see it costing a great deal for them to put a case together that would fit your phone. They may tell you to wait until they get enough people wanting a larger form fit but its worth a try.
there could be a solution a DYI solution that is... and that would req to get a case to start with that is not for the hermes... BUT is the same exact width and height the depth to be the right side of battery...
now you would have to come up with some foam type or other material that you cut out exactly the shape to fit the extended battery case... and then cover it with some fabric and there you go... custom fit case for the extended battery
hey you could even find a material that is very light weight and would match without having to have a fabric material over and simply glue it on heh

Seidio InnoCase for HTC Tilt 2 (AT&T) - Not going to happen!

I just spoke to some folks at Seidio today and they notified me that their system has a note that the Tilt 2 for AT&T will never be produced as per their Product Management team.
This is an incredible let-down for myself, and I find it hard to believe that they can't just modify the case currently for the HTC Touch Pro 2 to allow for the PTT key, and sell everyone that case regardless of your service provider.
Anyways, if anyone but myself was waiting on this case,I guess we need to find something else which is a shame.
I was waiting for this case also. I emailed them weeks ago and the return email was on the line that they are in the process of developing products for the tilt 2. So yes, this news is disappointing.
My suggestion, don't spend the extra money for a half-baked case. There are PLENTY of alternatives out there on ebay. I have one and it's wonderful and cost about 1/10 of what any of these "upscale" brands charges.
Sorry, forum was messed up.
Yes, I purchased one of those and it did not come close to fitting my Tilt 2.
For those of us with a Dremel and too much time on our hands, is it possible to mod the Seidio case to a near OEM look. Seems like taking about 3/8 of an inch off the PTT side would be golden. Opinions?
I'm not personally interested in having to pay so much money to "make do".
What I've personally decided to try is the Seidio holster that works with out phone, and a GadgetShieldz full body protection. I was actually really impressed with how this phone looked and didn't want to hide it, so this might be a good compromise.
I use a hard case I found on ebay for about $9. It works wonders, combined with a holster side pouch I bought on the street in NYC for $5. Total $14.
MUCH less than anything Seidio wants to charge.
Just had live chat with Seidio and this is the result.
Angela: hello
Customer74: hello
Customer74: Will you be making the innocase for the tilt 2?
Angela: Yes, we will be, but we don't have an exact ETA yet.
Customer74: Thank you.
Angela: You're very welcome. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Customer74: Not at this time, thank you.
I had a long chat with them within a day of the original post and they emphatically stated that they were not making it. Who knows....
methinks they're messing with you.
I spoke with them on the phone today (as apposed to the chat like last time) and they again told me that it was not going to be released. I was unable to get any more details.
By the time they get around to making it, it will be like wanting to buy a case for the original tilt - there will be another phone out all off us are moving to =P
I am afraid you are right.

I just applied the GadgetShield a few hours ago and it's already looking great!
Going to wait until tomorrow to try placing it into the case - after feeling the new rubbery skin of the phone (which looks great) I'm not sure it will work together.
When I talked to them in early Dec, they told me at the end of Dec. :-(
Is it possible to use the Touch Pro II case and let it just cover up the other button?
I saw the post regarding modification, just wondering if its possible to ignore the button all together.
I had this case for my original tilt and hated it.
Going with a full phone gadget shield and then a slide-leather case.
the bulkiness of the innocase is just too much for me.

Stand That's Strong Enough to Write on While Propped up?

Does anyone know if a stand (could serve as a case too) that would be sturdy enough to allow me to also draw on the tablet while propped up?
I keep my Flyer on my desk and use it a lot for note taking while on Skype calls, etc. and it would be nice to prop it up and write on it instead of holding it.
So I guess also the degree of angle it would be propped up at would ideally be adjustable or at least lower for being able to put the downward pressure on it as well as not feel like you're writing on a chalkboard or something at an awkward angle.
Ideas? Has anyone done the same thing and found a good stand? I'm scouring Amazon...but it's hard to tell by just looking at pictures. I know the intended purpose of propping up the tablet is for viewing/watching movies and not so much utility uses.
I'm also hoping to find a non-leather case...I think leather cases on electronics are just ugly =)
This was one that I was curious about.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=19RVNBZXHECA55BMGZK5 ... but there's only one review which doesn't have any details.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I say get the one you saw on Amazon. Return if it doesn't work.
The one from Amazon should be strong enough.
I have that Navitech stand. You can write on it as long as you don't write too hard, particularly in the corners. However, it doesn't fold down that flat, the lowest it will go is maybe a 45 degree to the table. To me that's not a comfortable writing angle, although it's fine for reading.
Any other stand suggestions? I'm starting to have the urge to get one, or maybe ghetto make one at home....heh guess I could go the lego route!

waterproof pouch

http://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Ca...1&sr=1-1&keywords=waterproof+asus+transformer
think this will work? i want to use my TF in the pool/spa. anyone else have a pouch?
i'd rather buy one that i know won't leak if someone here can recommend what to buy
I dont have my Asus yet but am looking for cases so thought I would read up on options. Anyways, I had a similar pouch for my cell phone and the way it works was you put it inside the pouch, there is a seal lengthwise you use then another seal at the very top. I cant see in the pics of this case but if there are indeed two seals on the one you linked it should work great. I went swimming with the one I had for my pouch and it was always dry after taking it out of the case. But if you do order it, please post a review as I am sure others would like to know especially it being summer. Thanks
i just bought it so ill let you know
I just use a big Ziplock bag. Smaller one for my phone.
this one works great. get it. it has 3 "zip-loc" type zippers that fold onto themselves, then it is secured with velcro.

Foldback / Stand case for my 8.4?

Hello all
Am sure this is probably one of the number one questions, so sorry to post it one more time, but am looking for a case for my 8.4 an was looking for some suggestions.
Want something that obviously covers the screen, but can fold back 100% so I can lay it flat on the desk.
But would really want for it to fold as a stand too.
Hopefully can be tough as I work in some harsh environments, as well an in part due to this too, don't need it to fancy, an might think leather would be out, but would be easy to clean an not absorbent such as a cloth like material.
Oh, an am not looking for a key board, as well am hoping to keep the price down.
So as can be seen, is kinda why I posted as while I find some of the above, I don't find all of it, but I get too that I have to get what's out there, but just hoping I might benefit from others who have come before me to find as close to what all my needs are.
Thanks for any help.
