EDIT: Surprisingly it still works as of 4/4/2012

WTF! DAmn IT! I could've saved some money...i just bought my skinomi skin (Dock & Tablet) for $35 and a poetic leather case (dock & tab) for $30.
But ill definitely be grabbing some HDMI cables and chargers from there.
Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info...found a sleek looking case there. The design is similar to others in amazon, but this one has a smoother look to it.

hmmm looks nice. Unfortunately shipping to Ottawa is almost 25 bucks, which kills the deal for me.

Edit
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium

I just want to alert people after looking the company up I amdebating on ordering.... everyone says they have absolutely NO customer service and often send the wrong product...and it looks like someone said the 3-5 shipping has taken over 10 days....I still might order but thought I should warn people...and if you have used them are they OK?

I ordered one of these and just received it today. It's great. It's fits nearly perfect on my prime, although the hole for front facing camera needs a little adjustment (a small bit of the case is noticeable when using the camera, but after adjusting the case a little, everything is fine). The case looks great, and it's really easy to remove the keyboard and everything. Thanks for posting and thanks to the OP for the coupon info. Have a good one!

Does the Prime close completely when docked and using the case? I've read reports of similar cases having this issue and leading to an unexpectedly dead battery.

damn I missed it..lol

Not sure if it closes as much as before, but I know it closes enough to turn off the screen and sends me back to the lock screen. Haven't had any issues with the battery draining while not in use. I would think that if anyone was having issues with closing their prime with this case on, that they may not have the case on correctly, or the dock connected properly. Have a good one!

just got mine today and it works very well.. really cant complain, especially for 20 bux..

apparently they've been doing well on this deal.. still going on!

Desk Stand?

Just wondering if anyone has bought a desk stand for their Transformer, any to recommend? I've searched and although I didn't see one specifically made for the Trans, there are some universal stands available.
I don't want the official keyboard attachment, thought I'd better mention that just in case.
There is one on amazon (US though). It's perfect and everyone keeps asking where I got it from. I fits any tablet really. There's a thread on the XOOM forum somewhere

I think I've seen that one in a search result, how do you find it for stability? I'd hate to have something that's easy to topple.
There's loads on Amazon but none particularly cheap. Cheapo option is to use a picture frame or plate stand. Sounds stupid but they do the job. It's not like you'll see them once the pad is on it. Either that or you could make one yourself if you're handy with tools, and don't burn down the house.

That thing is stable as a rock! I put it every where... I even keeps my TF upright when it's standing on the mattress at night! It has padded rubber feet and the same rubber at the part where the tablet rests so it cannot slip easily. Well worth the money and it's foldable....

Good grief the prices for the Arkon stand range from just under a tenner to £37.58! Someone's having a laugh!

The biggest issue with that stand (I have one) is that you can't really have the charger connected whilst it is sitting on it.

Why cant you have the transformer's port at the top, and plug it in that way? The screen will adjust fine. You need a usb 3.0 extension cable of course though.

Yeah well I've not spent any money on a desk stand as I built one myself. I'd rather spend the money on a nice leather case when they're out. That one seems pretty expensive.

Tuff Luv Case

Just took delivery of my new Tuff Luv case, I went for the cheaper faux leather option. First impressions is that the build quality is really nice, when you have the transformer docked it all fits together nicely. Equally using it without the dock it turns into a nice folio case, not 100% sure I like the stand part on the back as I don't use it and it adds a little extra bulk, but without it you wouldn't have a docking place for the keyboard. After using it next week I will update with how it functions.

Well, mine was ordered last night - I went for the leather keyboard and dock version (as I hate faux-leather, but that's just me).
It should be here by the end of the week (I went for the free 3-5 day shipping), so I'll post some feedback once I have it.

Yes.. one of my photos from side on shows the tablet docked and closed with the cover in place.
If its not too much trouble, could someone please post a few more detailed photos of the tablet in the case without the dock.
My leather case (with keyboard cover) arrived this afternoon. The construction is very good and the tablet is well secured with or without the keyboard.
It does add somewhat to the weight of the overall package, but this is to be expected - they do not use lightweight leather in the build.
I expect it to last at least as long as the Transformer itself...

Hi - I'm thinking of the leather case with keybd cover but was concerned if the tablet can easily slip out when keybd not connected - is this a problem?
Also how is it when you want to stand it up as a tablet by itself to watch a movie? Does the stand work?
Many thanks!

Haha well I guess some people don't have the same taste, I think it looks kinda cool being so big and chunky
Looks like you could drop it from the 13th floor of a hotel onto concrete and it would probably just bounce right back up
Bit high priced for now, so ordered a £15 RooCase look-a-like with a popper button so you can swivel the TF around inside the case for portrait / landscape / case closed while charging etc
oh for the record I do like the look but would never pay $60 for a case
Le sigh...
Waited months and this is the first gel case I've seen, it's absolutely hideous and at that price the case looks like an evil Sonic the Hedgehog murdered someone. It's a hideous case, the price is a joke. They could go on and on about the science that went into it but there's no way that hideous monstrosity is worth $60.00. Putting the hideousness aside it's still silicone gel and that's not worth $60.00.
After months not one company can create just a simple silicone bumper case for $2.00? Every major tablet on the face of this planet has one but apparently the Transformer is worth about as much as a Viewsonic G-Tablet since they both lack a bumper case. What is it about the Transformer that makes this so hard? The keyboard?

I like the way it can stand up at 2 different angles, I wish it could stand vertically though.

not endorsing brands mart, however they had the oem case for $38. I bought one their, other electronics I bought their went yours tits up before 6 months, so caution on everything else.
I just bought this case a few hours ago from my local store here in Dubai. It fits well on my tab. But the problem is that the hinge next to the camera hole is quite narrow. Every time I close it, it touches the power button unexpectedly causing a restart. Maybe it will differ on other stocks of this item.
I'm not using the camera that much so instead of opening the cover to the right, I rotated the tab covering the lens and made it open to the left.
Be careful after a month or so you might end up with fraudulent charges on the card you use, I did.
Yea, I wasn't sure about using that site so I ordered one of the Poetic cases from Amazon. I had one on my old ASUS Transformer and liked it. Good price too.

I ordered this case last week, so far I like it a lot. It's slimmer than Samsung version and I like the way the felt part that covers the screen doesn't end up on the outside of the case when you open it and set it down. I was worried about getting dirt on the felt and scratching my screen.
I also like that the cover latches without needing the elastic strap, although it does have one. It also stands at 2 different angles.
It does smell very plasticy, hopefully that will go away soon.

Samsung EE-CP90

Just saw that Samsung is selling the EE-CP905 Bluetooth keyboard (Pic below). Kinda like the leather look and the fact that it's thin. The Logitech one seemed nice, but too thick. Anyone have any experience with this keyboard?
Here in the Netherlands it's being offered for around 129 euros, which seems a bit too much. Is it worth it? Any reviews, pros, cons?

I purchased this keyboard with my Note 12.2 a couple of days ago. I have been using it pretty regularly over the last couple of days while setting the tablet up. So far I like it very much, it has been the best Tablet keyboard I have used so far and it really responds well to the tablet.

NO it does not protect the back of the tablet; it works as a front shell & keyboard. I can tell you this that this keyboard is hard to find, it is not on the Samsung Website and I think it is a limited run item that was produced for the launch of the tablet. Chances are if you do not get one now you may never see it available again.
It pairs easily to the tablet; it stays connected very well and it responds instantly even when you have not touched the tablet for a couple of hours. You have only one angle in which the tablet is held into the keyboard; however it is at the perfect angle for viewing the tablet while working. They keys are low profile but they feel very solid and I have not found any issues with this keyboard so far.
Again... I have only had it for a couple of days so this information is based on what I know so far!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707316
It's nice, I am keeping mine. The only real downside to me is that I do not like using the note without a case, and you cannot just flip the note over and have it still lock in place on the keyboard. That said, it does work well with any case which leaves the bottom of the Note open (like the Moko). Far superior to the Zagg.

I paid $88 for it here in the US. I purchased it on-line from B&H Photo and Video (free delivery). It is much sturdier than the zagg keycase cover that is being sold by Best Buy. I think it is great. It forms a protective case for the tabley. Has the same faux leather covering. The only drawback is that it is not true docking keyboard. But for what it is, I think it is great.
It comes bundled in México in the 32gb SM-P900 even the package show it in the picture, it's a great product, serves as a nice cover for protect the screen and a great dock, the faux leather finish is the same of the tablet back.
Hi
I know it's an old thread but I just bought the keyboard, tested it a bit and I was wondering if anyone had an idea how to disable the word tips that display in the bottom of the screen while typing. I make very few mistakes and don't really need it. the problem is that the top of the screen is cut off a bit because of that otherwise it wouldn't bother me much
