Samsung EE-CP90 - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories

Just saw that Samsung is selling the EE-CP905 Bluetooth keyboard (Pic below). Kinda like the leather look and the fact that it's thin. The Logitech one seemed nice, but too thick. Anyone have any experience with this keyboard?
Here in the Netherlands it's being offered for around 129 euros, which seems a bit too much. Is it worth it? Any reviews, pros, cons?

I purchased this keyboard with my Note 12.2 a couple of days ago. I have been using it pretty regularly over the last couple of days while setting the tablet up. So far I like it very much, it has been the best Tablet keyboard I have used so far and it really responds well to the tablet.

NO it does not protect the back of the tablet; it works as a front shell & keyboard. I can tell you this that this keyboard is hard to find, it is not on the Samsung Website and I think it is a limited run item that was produced for the launch of the tablet. Chances are if you do not get one now you may never see it available again.
It pairs easily to the tablet; it stays connected very well and it responds instantly even when you have not touched the tablet for a couple of hours. You have only one angle in which the tablet is held into the keyboard; however it is at the perfect angle for viewing the tablet while working. They keys are low profile but they feel very solid and I have not found any issues with this keyboard so far.
Again... I have only had it for a couple of days so this information is based on what I know so far!

It's nice, I am keeping mine. The only real downside to me is that I do not like using the note without a case, and you cannot just flip the note over and have it still lock in place on the keyboard. That said, it does work well with any case which leaves the bottom of the Note open (like the Moko). Far superior to the Zagg.

I paid $88 for it here in the US. I purchased it on-line from B&H Photo and Video (free delivery). It is much sturdier than the zagg keycase cover that is being sold by Best Buy. I think it is great. It forms a protective case for the tabley. Has the same faux leather covering. The only drawback is that it is not true docking keyboard. But for what it is, I think it is great.

It comes bundled in México in the 32gb SM-P900 even the package show it in the picture, it's a great product, serves as a nice cover for protect the screen and a great dock, the faux leather finish is the same of the tablet back.

Hi
I know it's an old thread but I just bought the keyboard, tested it a bit and I was wondering if anyone had an idea how to disable the word tips that display in the bottom of the screen while typing. I make very few mistakes and don't really need it. the problem is that the top of the screen is cut off a bit because of that otherwise it wouldn't bother me much

I guess It depens on the application you use. I don't have such suggestion bar when I do mail and wordprocessing.

I was using Chrome I didn't try other apps. There is a way to disable it in the settings but it's for all keyboards and not just the hardware one

Tuff Luv Case

Just took delivery of my new Tuff Luv case, I went for the cheaper faux leather option. First impressions is that the build quality is really nice, when you have the transformer docked it all fits together nicely. Equally using it without the dock it turns into a nice folio case, not 100% sure I like the stand part on the back as I don't use it and it adds a little extra bulk, but without it you wouldn't have a docking place for the keyboard. After using it next week I will update with how it functions.

Thanks for the first look! I've had my eye on one of these - they're not cheap, but they're a lot cheaper than a new Transformer!
Think I may take the plunge and order one later today!

Wow! Quite pricey but very nice.

It was shipped yesterday, should be here in a few days

Well, mine was ordered last night - I went for the leather keyboard and dock version (as I hate faux-leather, but that's just me).
It should be here by the end of the week (I went for the free 3-5 day shipping), so I'll post some feedback once I have it.
Cheers!

Yes.. one of my photos from side on shows the tablet docked and closed with the cover in place.
If its not too much trouble, could someone please post a few more detailed photos of the tablet in the case without the dock.
My leather case (with keyboard cover) arrived this afternoon. The construction is very good and the tablet is well secured with or without the keyboard.
It does add somewhat to the weight of the overall package, but this is to be expected - they do not use lightweight leather in the build.
I expect it to last at least as long as the Transformer itself...

Hi - I'm thinking of the leather case with keybd cover but was concerned if the tablet can easily slip out when keybd not connected - is this a problem?
Also how is it when you want to stand it up as a tablet by itself to watch a movie? Does the stand work?
Many thanks!

I have one too, Rocketfish branded from Best Buy. I'm an employee, and bought it for $2. Works AWESOME. No fingerprints!
I have the bamboo stylus from about a week and i love it more than the original graphic tablet i have.
But i still use fingers and touchpad on my tf101.
But in extreme case this winter i will use it
How does it feel? Heavy?
The One i have is like a pencil of khoinoor.

I think that Boxwave is the OEM for all these. I have the (identical) Targus version, and it works well. The only issue I have is that if I apply RainX to the screen, the pen detection is spotty until the RainX has worn a bit. Otherwise, it's quite useful.

Cuts down on fingerprints quite a bit (since I don't use a screen protector) and makes the surface extremely smooth when sliding your finger around. If the prints don't bother you -- they drive me nuts -- or you use the stylus the majority of the time, it's not worth the effort. Also, anyone with a screen protector in place definitely should not apply a product like that to the surface.
There are a lot of them from Dealextreme if you need.
Got one of these too, Targus branded. I just wonder who thought it would be a great idea to add the sharp metal ring so close to the tip. I use mine quite a bit, but I'm always a bit scared of writing at too much of an angle so the metal cuts into my precious glass.

I might have to give this a try. The fingerprints drive me nuts. This is a pretty brilliant idea .
does anyone who uses one of these pens have the invisiSHIELD on? because i have that on my asus and would hate to purchase one of these only to realize it doesn't work too well with the screen protector.
Edit: just bought one. works beautifully.
I have a targus branded one from walmart, and rain-x applied to the screen, and it works flawlessly. Way better than touch input and you can make use of that autocad sketchbook app... its really nice.
after having a fat end for a week, and reading your feed back, and playing with a few on screen writing programs..
plus also learning how to write chinese charactors.. I am keen to go a bit further with this.. and get a better one for sharper writing..
I am using a screen protector that I brought the day i got this thing.. and find it just as sensitive to writing with my pen.. as my Evo is with a screen protector..
I would love to take this a step further and have my chinese staff write on it.. then be able to have handwritten recognition going no so that I could then copy an past it in to a translator..

I ordered one of these and just received it today. It's great. It's fits nearly perfect on my prime, although the hole for front facing camera needs a little adjustment (a small bit of the case is noticeable when using the camera, but after adjusting the case a little, everything is fine). The case looks great, and it's really easy to remove the keyboard and everything. Thanks for posting and thanks to the OP for the coupon info. Have a good one!

Not sure if it closes as much as before, but I know it closes enough to turn off the screen and sends me back to the lock screen. Haven't had any issues with the battery draining while not in use. I would think that if anyone was having issues with closing their prime with this case on, that they may not have the case on correctly, or the dock connected properly. Have a good one!

I like the way it can stand up at 2 different angles, I wish it could stand vertically though.

not endorsing brands mart, however they had the oem case for $38. I bought one their, other electronics I bought their went yours tits up before 6 months, so caution on everything else.
I just bought this case a few hours ago from my local store here in Dubai. It fits well on my tab. But the problem is that the hinge next to the camera hole is quite narrow. Every time I close it, it touches the power button unexpectedly causing a restart. Maybe it will differ on other stocks of this item.
I'm not using the camera that much so instead of opening the cover to the right, I rotated the tab covering the lens and made it open to the left.
Be careful after a month or so you might end up with fraudulent charges on the card you use, I did.

I ordered this case last week, so far I like it a lot. It's slimmer than Samsung version and I like the way the felt part that covers the screen doesn't end up on the outside of the case when you open it and set it down. I was worried about getting dirt on the felt and scratching my screen.
I also like that the cover latches without needing the elastic strap, although it does have one. It also stands at 2 different angles.
It does smell very plasticy, hopefully that will go away soon.

TF300T case for tab+keyboard

I am looking for a case that can accommodate both the TF300T and the keyboard dock but with the option to leave out the keyboard if I so choose to.
Currently I have this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/MoKo-Foldin...1SCQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1364833328&sr=8-1 but that will only do the tablet.
Can anyone suggest one that can take both and keep them safe while travelling? Ideally I'm looking for something that does not cover the front bezel at all (like my current case), I find it annoying to touch corners with these covers on.
I have this one:

Yeah, I use mine all the time. It works nicely even without the dock part attached. It's good quality too. Mine is holding up nicely.
I ordered http://www.minisuit.com/p-1033-mini...ather-dual-view-grooves-stand-case-black.aspx and got sent http://www.minisuit.com/p-931-asus-...ase-compatible-with-mobile-docking-black.aspx
Thankfully minisuit were very easy to deal with and sent me the correct case within a week - not bad for way down in New Zealand. Anyway, when I received the wrong case I tried it out as the packaging wasn't sealed.
By gods it was awful, having it's huge and fits poorly around the tablet screen - if you were using it to store many other things it might be useful but for just protecting the tablet + dock it's unwieldy as hell. Great that you can remove the dock portion, but those snaps are huge and jut out a long way, and elastic straps to hold the keyboard in? Surely there's a more discreet way. The velcro strap that goes over the top of the tablet round to the front, its like they're intentionally trying to be ugly. I honestly found a 10inch neoprene netbook cover easier to use.
It was a relief to receive the dual view with grooves stand that actually fits well and doesn't show as much around the front of the tablet, it doesn't protect the keyboard as well, but I don't need it to. Build quality is ten times that of the folio case, and from the same manufacturer!
