[REQ] crt animation in latest stock ROM

Hey guys..
I have been trying to add crt animation on/off to my rom (Stock sense rooted deodexed, latest OTA update) for a while using the tutorial found here: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/2553-dev-enabling-crt-on-off-animation-in-roms-how-to/
I have flashed the various premade enable crt animation zips found on here but because my rom is a different rom from everyone elses, apparently I have a different services.jar, so it just wont boot with it. I have tried making the changes in the smali files my own but I guess its not recompiling right. Just won't boot past the boot animation screen. If anyone could apply the changes that would be awesome! I already have the settings updated in the framework-res file.
Really guys 45 views no reply? I'll tip

Try this.
If that doesn't work try this one.
If this doesn't work then I'm not savvy enough to help. Sorry.
I tried both files, both get about as far as mine did.. only showing the boot screen animation and staying there.
BTW thank you VERY much for trying. Definitely greatful!.

You already edited the framework-res.apk file, right?
Correct. The following is in my framework-res.apk
<bool name="config_animateScreenLights">false</bool>
EDIT
Well I gave a try at editing the services.jar file again from scratch, this time the phone booted with the edits, but still no CRT animations. hmmm
try this c if it helps

That file was made by xboarder and was intended for QuikSense 1.4.1 which was a heavily modified version of stock thus may not work on a standard stock rom. Precaution is advised.

Problem changing the Bootanimation.

Hey...
I wanted to make my own bootanimation for the Galaxy Nexus.
So i pulled a bootanimation out of the ROM i am currently using and replaced the png´s with my own ones (same size).
Then i pulled the bootanimation back to the rom and flashed it... But the animation doesn´t start. At boot up the phone just hangs at a black screen and i had to restore from the backup i made...
I uploaded the bootanimation.
Maybe you can have a look and tell me why it doesn´t work?
Or tell me what i need to do.. since you know what i did.. (just replaced the png´s)
Thanks in advance!
Here my Bootani

Are you using compression? ( the bootanims don't should be compressed).
Wow thanks

[REQUEST] [XU] [GB] CRT Lockscreen Animation Flashable with CWM

Hello, A newbie here. I couldn't find any way to add the nice looking CRT Lockscreen animation to my Xperia U running Rooted GB .184 Firmware. I looked up the tutorials which are telling to change the Boolean ConfigAnimateScreenLights to false in the framework-res.apk but when I opened it, it was already at false. I don't know what to do and it would be very helpful if any of the Devs make a CWM flashable ZIP so that we can enjoy the Good old CRT animation on our Xperia U

Its not good as you get the animation only if you press the icon (not by the power button). Im looking for a CWM flashable zip if you could please somehow manage to port it? The MIUI V3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1971913 has that animation but I want it for my .184 GB (The Brains ROM).

Bootanimation Issue

Hi there,
So I recently updated my SGS3 to 4.4 and it's awesome. But when I try to install a custom boot animation (Windows BIOS), the boot animation is actually just the android logo. This exact animation worked on 4.3 so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if there's something else to it. I've tried both cwm flashable and manual install and both are the same problem. If someone has a link to a working one that'd be muchly appreciated!
Also the bootanimation in 17 mb, seems a bit big compared to some?
Thanks in advance!

Need help in porting a Boot Animation

Hey guys,
I'm currently porting the bootanimation from NitrogenOS to the G5's one (without the NitrogenOS logo). I want to release but I've not tested it yet: Do I have to rename the image names? And should I remove the part 3 because the stock animation only has 2 parts? The stock resolution is full HD, the animation from NitrogenOS is 480x480, is that a problem? I don't want a brick you know
Thanks in advance!

Backup old stock boot animation as bootanimation1.zip and rename the one you want to test as bootanimation.zip
If it doesn't work it's easy to delete the test animation and rename the old stock one to bootanimation.zip through twrp recovery file manager
Alright I'll test it today, release should come tomorrow. Thanks
