Okay I'm on ics beta 8. And my edge doesn't seem to work. It connects but the signal bars r grey. Tried so many times but never turned blue!!

Need some background info. When was the last time it did work, and what did u do in between? Possible that the VPN need to be adjusted?

If u have flashed wifi fix they sta grey. And better to post such questions in general thread of galaxyics rom.

The problem is whenever I'm on stock or cm7(except in cm7.2 by fat) or cm9 I loose my signal and it doesn't connect back and I have to do it manually everytime
is there any solution? ???

Not all issues can be fixed through software -.-

I had that problem in 1 or 2 roms I tried way back...It would come as 'error for searching for networks try some other time'(something like this)
I would put phone in offline and try sometimes I would get signal sometimes I wouldn't.
I flashed another rom to solve the issue

Originally I could not see your attachments either, so had no idea you were talking about the same icon, lol...
BTW I wasn't even aware that was the black clipping test picture as my background, it shows up at total black.. HAHA!
This icon has been changed in the new XXBLFB firmwareto something more obvious

i have the same problem too i tried ARHD and OMEGA. Both had same problem ( Arhd 5.0.0 dont know if problem still exists )
Everytime you boot up your phone you have to select it manually as far as i know.
the developer setting will not stick... I tried... The final solution is to change the ROM... I switched to XXDLH5... It works perfectly fine...

Yep, 3g data now works out-of-the-box (im actually typing this from ubuntutouch > 28.10.2013 daily build via 3G)
how? Goto network/wifi ~ scroll all the way down to 'unlock sim' Profit!
Note: Some need to have 'pin' enabled on sim. Do that first in android - not 100% sure about this pin req as I am a pinhead

On my N4 carrier Eplus (Germany) it works (unlocking sim, 3G Data and GSM; (UT 13.10 (r100))
