Indicator light - HTC Rezound

Why does my htz rezound blink the indicator light when there's nothing in the status bar?
My extended batter seems to get hotter then it used to when charge is lower.
I been using 4g lately so I wonder if that's anything to do with this.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA

it blinks when it is low on battery.

nah that's a common problem. Is it blinking green? try dropping down the status bar and see if that stops it if not, make a call then hang up. If it's blinking orange, means it's dying like con said
Sent from my PG41200 using XDA App

Or red and Green means it's overheating... If you live in a hot place expect to see that a lot

i just wish there was a way to turn off the led for charging/fully charged purposes. Due to it being on when charging, it wont blink for notifications.

I don't know what color it is. Can't tell.
Pulling down the status bar doesn't make it stop.
Battery power bar doesn't seem that low. It is but I thought it used to be lower then flash the light.
I just don't want this to mean battery is broke or phone is dieing. If this is 4g issue then its really crummy battery with 4g on.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA

..how can you not tell what color it is..?

Happens to me all the time. Flashes green like a constant text but theyve all been checked. I just drop the notification bar and it disappears

Lol, Jay, guess why I can't tell, lol.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA

it might be that its over heating you did say it gets hot
haha you can't tell what color well thats unfortunate o_0

I might be color blind a bit with certain types.
I think my phone gets hot only with 4g on and WiFi off. That's when I notice anyway.
The flashing I think now it battery low.

[Req] LED Flash with Ring

I don't know if this is possible but thought it would be cool if it could be done.
Would it be possible to have the LEDs for the camera to flash when the phone rings? I know the phone would have to be face down but mine is actually quite a bit. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to look into this and see if its even possible.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
that would be cool but such a battery hog
I don't think it would use very much battery with it being an LED. I could be wrong though.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
That would be good for the disabled (deaf).
Yea. I didn't even think about that. I was mainly thinking for at night when my kids are sleeping and my phone is turned down real low.

LED notification light

Not a big deal, but is the led supposed to change colors for different states? Mine comes on at 90% during charging & flashes for notifications but it's always just green.

O Ya, Forgot That Usually I Never Let It Get That Low.
Mine changes color... I get blue, green, red and yellow... Tweetdeck gives me yellow notifications, cnn breaking news gives me red as well as the battef getting below 10%, and facebook and skype give me blue....

I Think It's Cool That The LED Changes Color Because It Gives You An Idea Of What's Waiting Before You Unlock The Screen. Also There's An App Called "Blink" Free In The Market That Let's You Customize I Wanna Say Nearly Every Notification.
Thanks for the info. I'm still in the process of setting up so I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do.

Can someone else confirm this app works on their phone? I am unable to get it to actually light up the LED.
Ooops
Sorry, I Guess It's Not Compatible. I Never Used It Before I Just Remember Someone Glorifying Last Year How Great It Was.
curious to see if anybody else chimes in here, I thought it was a bit strange that there are virtually no controls built in for the LED. I'm used to my old winmo phone where I could tell it whether or not to blink & for how long.
Free app called Light Flow Lite - lets you change your LED notification light for any notification that triggers the LED light. It's free, and works with the Droid X2 - i've tested it
Note: You do indeed need to have the screen off when testing LED colors, it will blink approximately every 2 seconds so give it a second after turning the screen off while testing.

Battery full alert

Hi.. Is there an app that runs in Razr which will let you know that the battery is fully charged? Something like an alarm?
I charge my phone in the night and I don't want the charger to be connected to the phone for a long time!!!
Thanks.
Sent from my XT910 using XDA
Before sleeping, set your Notification tone to your desired alarm tone and enable Battery Full Notification from Sound in Settings.... Job done
Sent from my XT910 using XDA
just to go in to more details on where it is, its in settings, then sounds and its right down at the bottom ' battery full notification'.
I tried that.. But doesn't that give you the alert only once? I want something which like an alarm which will stop till I plug it out off the charger.

try battery monitor widget.

I had Battery Monitor widget.. But still that app didn't alert me on full battery!! Have you tried using it on your phone?? I had Droid Essentials on my HTC Wildfire and it worked fine on that phone.. Here I couldn't find it in Google Play!!
i use it and it notifies me when its full. you have turn on the feature.

Get Tasker. And you can use it for tons of other stuff as well.

Smart actions is to tasker as a bike is to a motorcycle... the have the same rudamentary setup, but the motorcycle is far superior and requires more knowledge to operate and perfect.

I'm just curious, why???
The charging circuit, if functioning correctly will not let the battery overcharge and will stop the charge process.
Look at the icon on the phone, the lighting bolt goes away when fully charged.
The status will also indicate that. I don't worry about it.

So if I overcharge the phone, the battery won't be affected right? Like will the life of the battery reduce?
Sent from my XT910 using XDA
it's unnessay to plug the charge wire at all, when your phone is full charged, the current is limited to zero!

the stock Ecomoto chargers that come with the razr has circuitry in it that stops the charging when the battery reaches capacity, unlike the so called battery charged alert since the default increment jumps occur in 5% and 10% steps the phone will alert you a full battery when its really only at 96% and take about another 5-15 minutes to finish charging at which time the charger will cut it.
I first noticed this when I used it to charge my samsung galaxy player and 20 minutes after it finished charging I couldn't do the standard tap the power button to see the charge status bar, because the charger had cut power to the player.
In sound settings, there is a box at the bottom that will notify you when battery is full

The OP isn't looking for a simple ALERT he is looking for an ALARM style where it won't stop till its unplugged from the charger.
Full Battery Alarm
Search full battery alarm in the play store. The developer is Crazydog. Hope that's what you're looking for.

[Q] Battery percent on battery like ICS for E4GT?

I'm curious if its possible to relocate the battery percent to be on the battery icon itself as it was on ICS for the Epic 4G Touch?
I would think so.

Unless I misunderstood the original post, I'm not sure that answered the question. That places the percentage to the side of the battery indicator, not on top of it on my wife's GS3. It is still a nice feature, however.

You would be correct. I would like to see the battery percentage placed on top of the battery icon.

ah ok...I misread....at least its nice to have a percentage monitor though...it'd be nicer if it was on top, rather then seperate taking up valuable taskbar space
Agreed. I'd love to see it in top of the battery indicator.

Rezound led blinking and won't turn on?

Rezound led blinking red and won't turn on. Battery just really low or what? Only does to one battery other one is fine
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
yeah probably too low. Leave it plugged in to the wall and turned off with that battery for like 15-20 minutes and see if it'll work after a bit of charging.
