Hello all,
Basically this theme is AOSP ICS (or at least as much as I can theme so far) for Sense 3.6.
The status icons (data, signal, alarm, sync, etc.) as well as the notification bar/tray and most of the Sense toggles and boxes have been themed to ICS blue. This is a combination of my work from combining elements from AOSP source and the modified Sense elements from shnizlon (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1470497).

I'll try to fix things I find and that are reported as I go along.
Changelog:
5/7/12 - fixed quick contact elements, fixed alarm clock color to ICS blue, fixed loading spinner to stock color
5/6/12 - updated to new ICS leak framework (this only works on new ICS leak 2.14.531.3), fixed status bar clock color, corrected theme inconsistencies with dialog boxes, fixed a few other icons and elements to ICS blue
4/27/12 - fixed quick contact menu, fixed airplane mode to AOSP, corrected toggle switch color, changed volume slider button, corrected volume bar color, fixed the quick boot menu again
4/26/12 - fixed gps icons to AOSP, corrected headphones icons, fixed reboot menu icons, fixed download/upload animations to blue, corrected sync icon, corrected a few more notification tray elements, added AOSP icons in separate flashable zip, added separate battery percents zip
4/25/12 - Initial release. Most status bar, notification tray and toggles have been themed

I've tried a couple from there and they lock me up every time. I'll wait for our own, not from the Sensation.

Same here, all I have gotten so far is stuck at the boot animation.
wow thats weird. After you installed the themes like a regular apk, did you switch to the purple passion one in themes. no need to restart .
Been a looooong day for me, it was the battery icons I tried that wouldn't boot. Slap to my head for that.
Haha i understand. Before i cooked up my own battery mod i tried a battery mod from other there toooo . I got stuck at the boot screen too . i almost panicked because i didnt make a nanroid . i had to adb push the files through recovery to fix it. Sensation Battery mod = Bad . If you want i could always use UOT to make the battery mod you wanted from there . thats all they are anyway.
I got one that's the circle with digital but the numbers are blue and it's not easy to see. I was looking for one with white letters and that's how I got stuck trying a few. The one called revolution was the one I wanted but, nope.
Did you guys read the op? This one is made for our phones. Works great!

I have also updated the browser, calculator, calendar, camera, contacts (people), dialer, mail, messages, settings and clock icons to ICS stock. I will give to electronicrice to possibly include in his next release.

DOWNLOADS INDEFINITELY REMOVED, taking a break from XDA, and don't want to return to a thread of nothing but bug reports, whining, and more un-credited use of my work.
And lastly, I never used to care about people using my work if they gave me credit, but I've found a lot of people re-packaging my battery icons without any mention of credit, or link to my original threads, and its just really annoying, takes barely a few seconds to add a "credit/thanks to xxxx" note or link somewhere in your posts. So from henceforth if you want to use my mods/theme in your own rom, mod, etc. you MUST:
1) ask my permission to do so.
2) you must link back to my thread and provide credit to me in your post
3) your mod/theme/etc. must be for non-commercial purposes

Thank you very much for this! I LOVE it! The blue really goes nice with my already blue wallpaper and blue glove. The animations are freaking awesome as well!

Hi,
On JK2 the bluetooth toggle seems fixed already, at least for me, when i click it, it toggles on and starts scanning for devices in a popup automatically, so there really isn't a need for that.
And once untermensch ports his power-menu mod and the epic/puzzle lockscreen mod to JK2, I'll add them both.
I know he's working on porting some of his mods to froyo already, and I might look through the power menu to see if I can do it without waiting for him to port it officially, but the lockscreen mod is definitely over my head until he releases froyo specific mod/source.

Hi,
You can speed up animations using SpareParts.apk
I don't honestly remember where I got the apk I'm using now, but you might be able to find it on the market, or likely a CM5.0.8 or CM6 build for the nexus one.

Hey Jocelyn -
Actually, the power menu mod is already working in Obsidian V2. All you should need is some components from their framework-res.apk, the framework.jar, and the android.policy.jar, and it will work on the ROM you are using. I have it working on mine just fine (same ROM as you). At the very least, if you get stuck trying to do it yourself, using these files as a reference might help.

just flashed this and got the animations and the color changes but no AOSP can be found. I flashed the latest jk2_matte_with aosp lockscreen. Tried turning puzzle on and off in display but still only the glass lock screen is showing.

Yes I works but the clock in top bar is black. Edit... when u press the power button ..Anything more than q fast press. The phone soft rebooted. Ie. Screen goes blank then vibrates bottom buttons light up but it doesn't actually. Fully reboot. Needed to pull battery. sOniqu3 thank u for all that u do your an awesome. Women

Awesome! Thanks so much for your awesome work, s0niqu3! This what what I had been missing from the JK2 rom!
In Eugene's Macnut R10 build, the baseband is listed as JK2 and I know he ported some of the unofficial leak over to that build, I'm wondering if this is compatible? Has anybody tried? Or what else do I need to look for to check compatibility before I try it. I can restore, thats never a concern, but would rather avoid fc cutting if I can.
Edited: no, no it does not, but i gave it the old college try. hopefully eugene's next build will be more jk2 and compatible, cause i dig s0niqu3's battery mods.

So just for the record, I did a full wipe and flashed the rom.
It booted in nicely and I went into settings first thing and turned on 3D homescreens because I didn't know what it did. I went back the the home and played with it, then went back to settings to turn it back off. After unchecking it I changed screen timeout to 30 seconds and my screen went black with the capacitive buttons all lit up. Phone did these tiny vibrates about every 15 seconds.
Rebooted and saw the boot anim, but phone screen was black after with lit up bottom buttons and small vibrates every 15 secs.
Just reflashed to see if it happens again. Will update you guys just for the record.

Just flashed this rom, when i when i put the phone on vibrate from the lockscreen the screen goes black, but the captivate buttons are on. i do a battery pull to get it to work again

Exact same problem here. Couldn't pinpoint what it was, but its definitely when I try to go to vibrate that the phone goes to black.
Same here and also the everevolv wallpaper disappeared. Did that happen to u guys?

I flashed the Hotspot Unlock zip file over this and it works.
Notice : I am not going to work on new themes for this rom anymore as i don't see any future for it. I am going to make themes for the Bravo rom instead which can be found here.

I have not checked this as i don't own a XT720. So people who try this have to inform of any issues which i can fix. If it works properly, it should look like the screenshots above.
I have removed the versions with transparent status bars as they are not working properly.

Twisted Inception
The port of this theme was requested by JiroPrinz8. Kudos to the original creator of the theme, bp328i of droidforums. My job is just to port it to xt720.
First build is almost ready. There are small issues. Not all notification widget icons are themed. I will rectify it in future builds.
Procedure : Download zip file and place it in openrecovery/updates folder. Flash in AOR. Dalvik-cache/cache wipe is not required but recommended.

Downloading MIUI now.. Will update ASAP.
Flashed the theme, and there are some white on white, and the icons in settings is still TI, (flashed over TI)
Will now try flashing over stock to see if it makes any difference. Attached some pics.

So that's why it seems lacking something.. LMAO!
Yup dialler is as in screenshot, sorry dumb question, which part is the statusbar..? LOL! Far as i can tell the only issue is the white on white in the notif area, i don't have the date showing that would overlap the ongoing icons, as in the OP, IIRC the date is only showing in CM, or i haven't enabled it if at all possible.. downloading 2nd release.

Ok so just flashed test build 2, and seems everything is now in order, I have themed apps, dialler looks like thw way it shoulkd be (although please confirm, i'vea attached snaps) there's no more white on white in the notifications, the only white on white I see is the USB connected And USB Debugging connected ICONS only, see the pics. Overall looks great man..! Please inform me if i missed anything or you want anything checked.

I suggest going to stock first, as when i tried flashing over TI, icons from the previous theme kept on with the new one.

Which launcher are you using. If you install adw and untick wallpaper hack from advanced settings, you will have a transparent statusbar ( the top bar where you get your date/time/data & wifi icons etc ). You can see thru the statusbar. If you have used miui earlier, you'll understand what i am talking abt.
Also is your date shown on statusbar while pulling down notifications?

Oh ok I got it now, no, I don't have the Status bar, as in the pics, the carrier name is the only one there, no status bar icons/widgets.
Nope, no date on the status bar when I pull down for notifications.
You should not see your date. That's how the theme needs to work. And you should be able to see your wallpaper thru the statusbar as shown in the picture below. Use a lighter wallpaper. You cannot make out with a dark wallpaper.
I just flashed the RC2 stock, I was on your original Twisted Inception for the first Special, and leaves the Twisted inception keyboard. It may just be a fluke since it isn't your updated Twisted Inception. No big deal cuz I like that green themed keyboard I posted to go with RC2 anyway. So now gonna try your new themes.

I get it now, sorry bout the confusion, so I checked and the status bar is NOT transparent, tried installing ADW to untick the Wallpaper Hack, didn't change anything though. Still the Status Bar is solid and is not transparent.
I don't think it's a big deal though, but if it's necessary for the theme, by all means just post a build I can test for you.

I dont know why the png's are not changing. Also i changed all network icons to miui style, but it is still green. I'll take a look later.
Ok. Found out why the statusbar is not changing. Its not the themes fault. Usually the statusbar image which is in framework-res.apk is a .9 png ( statusbar_background.9.png ). The theme has this file, but the rom uses a normal png ( statusbar_background.png ). So even if you apply the theme, the statusbar image is not being replaced.
Also found out why network bars are still green. HM has made a lot of changes not found usually in Froyo based roms.
I'll post a final build today.

The theme has this file, but the rom uses a normal png ( statusbar_background.png ). So even if you apply the theme, the statusbar image is not being replaced.
Also found out why network bars are still green. HM has made a lot of changes not found usually in Froyo based roms.

That makes perfect sense now wish we could have thought of it, since we do know this isn't your normal build with mass changes in it, we just don't know enough about anything to be able to know that lol. Sorry for wasting your time sileshn and thanks for making the unusual adjustments for us.
That's ok guys. I am uploading 3 versions of the miui theme now.
1. Transparent status bar - no date
2. Transparent status bar - with date ( notifications images will overlap date )
3. Non Transparent stock statusbar
As soon as someone checks and lets me know that they all work as expected, i will port the other themes.
Sometimes i get fustrated with things and that's why i was a bit harsh in my comments a couple of weeks back. No hardfeelings, LM.

TBH, I wouldn't think so. I have lways been told my themes tend to speed up ROM's.
I of course didnt touch Apex.
Thank you, yes there will be more. I have only done small amount of coding, most is the inclusion of my images... Not sure how it would slow down? you reboot at least once? Also you can flash the revert to see if issue goes away. Of course lag is so subjective. LOL

Are you meaning so it can be flashed on any ROM? No,this cant be done, as different ROM's have done different things to their system files sir.
Are you talking about making it so it can be flashed on same ROM with different versions? Sometimes they do, depends on what the Dev changed in the ROM version, sometimes themes can be flashed on mulitple versions of same ROM. This can depend on wether a Themer gets support from the Dev to know what is changed, or themer goes through and checks and tells users it's still good.
As a general rule of thumb, unless it's stated, themes are only good for ROM versions they state.

First there is 4 different versions of CM10 right now.
Second, the official is in a nightly build, which means i could never keep a theme up.
Third, doesnt seem to be as much request or users on N10.. to see where this is goign to go with ROM/Dev support.
Forth, I have even written dev of this ROM and get no response.
So it really comes down to stable release and Dev support and interaction.
Zips fixed to fix percent battery issue. For some reason the script is making an extra res folder in some apps, but it doesn't cause problems.
I have created a red theme that is a little different than most of the others I've seen. Instead of theming every png I could find, I chose to theme only certain aspects and stick to more of a stock look.
What I did theme:
Status bar icons (Battery, Data, Sync, Signal Bars, GPS, Airplane Mode, Silent/Vibrate, Alarm, WiFi, USB to PC)
(Clock color can be changed in Mik Tweaks)
Dialer
Keyboard
Most all selection highlights (see pic below)
Clock widgets
various other elements
What apps are being themed?
Fusion.apk
framework-res.apk
SystemUI.apk
HTCDialer.apk
PCSC.apk
HTC_IME.apk is replaced with a deodexed version
How to install:
Make a backup first!
Download the RedNole skin app HERE and install using a file explorer. Then, select the RedNole skin from the Personalize menu.
AND
Choose one of the following options:
1. Download THIS version for the theme with stock-like battery (themed red).
2. Download THIS zip for the theme with percent battery mod (red text numbers).
3. Download THIS version for theme if you already have a battery mod that you want to keep.
Flash the downloaded zip file in recovery after making a backup. Reboot and enjoy.
I recommend using Amon Ra, not tested on any other recovery.
==== Keyboard only =====
Download the RedNole Keyboard HERE and flash in recovery. I made it a deodexed app so it can be used on other 3.6 roms. That also means that the install script will delete the HTC_IME.odex file. If you want to revert back to stock, you will need to restore that file as well.

glad to see another fan of the red color. I would definitely like to see the stock but keep red all at the status bar. everything red then a white clock is like...ugh..lol.. for more stock look I'd revert the lock ring. be nice to see this on newer sense 3.6 roms

This theme dropped at the perfect time. I didn't have time on my long weekend off last week but I was thinking about finally doing a red one this weekend. This is so spot on to what I was planning that I'll be proud to rock it instead.

Now that I'm going through most the icons I use in the status bar could u add alarm,silent,airplane mode, and when GPS locks icons please. I mean like when u enter google maps and the GPS satellite shows up. Also the keyboard icon to select input method when you're typing. Other than those this theme is really sick. Thanks

If your clock widget numbers are still black, make sure you installed the skin and select it from the Personalize menu. Those numbers are in the m10 file in the skin.
For those looking for the status bar clock to be red, you can change that in the Mik Tweaks. :thumbup:

I did and everything is like the pictures but the clock is like a matte black and the #'s are too instead of red. I wonder what happened?

You may want to try changing the Scene to something different and back. I vaguely remember that working for a few people before when trying to a skin to work. Mine is set to the Verizon scene.
Here's a preliminary version of the keyboard. It is not complete yet, but getting close. It is a deodexed app, so the install script will delete HTC_ime.odex. Make a backup, then flash in recovery.
Edit: Link removed, completed version posted in OP.
Keyboard added to OP. Screenshot of keyboard added as well. Keyboard is a deodexed app, so it should work on other 3.6 roms.

Working on an update to use the VillianTheme engine. That should make this work for all 3.6 global roms, not just Ineff Dues. :thumbup:
