CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Good luck.
So, s-pen works incorrectly in landscape mode, right?
I'll try to push a fix soon if I'll get familiar with gerrit etc and if it won't be already fixed.
Could you please update 'how to send patches' with information valid for your Note branch? Or it's basically the same?

If it's a kernel fix, the standard gerrit procedure applies as the kernel is in the main cyanogenmod github repo.
If it's a device tree fix, that isn't in the main cyanogenmod repo yet, so instead you should do a pull request on github, OR use git format-patch to generate a properly formatted patch that someone with write access to the device tree can apply.

Nice. Welcome to note !!!

Wouldn't it have been easier to continue from imilka's build? I know that was based on the s2 but it is a very similar device. It was also stable.

i think
Call mic issue is caused miss header file in kernel.

No, as his builds were created by replacing files in galaxys2 nightlies, not from a device tree. They also depended on leak kernels which I will not trust again for a long time after the recent rash of hardbricks across multiple devices.
Please continue this line of discussion in the discussion thread.

Yup - and that's already fixed. Problem was that xplod pulled in the wrong kernel tree, and the one he pulled in was older.
xplod pushed a pen fix, it's working in landscape now. (imilka, we're on IRC now fyi)
Video recording will get fixed as soon as we can figure out why the build system keeps overriding media_profiles.xml

Build 2 - Updated 1/5/12
Friends,
BUILD # 2 now online

* Please check OP, and the General Thread for Changelog and Discussion Enjoy!

I have just flashed version two and the mounts points in android and receovery appear to be the wrong way around.
External_sd is mounted as emmc/internal storage and internal is mounted as /sdcard.

It would be great to open a separated help thread, so we can read the updates from this thread easily.
We will get 100 pages of users asking for help in a few hours...
Is it possible to make the phone not crash if you disable the auto update of time and other informations over your mobile network? As far as i can tell, this is mostly what it is used for. It also provides some networking information but maybe switching to manual fixes that? Anyone tried?

I understood that as an indirect question.
Like: Do you allow somebody to start another thread (without official support of course) for people ask their questions without spamming here, so the community (and not the devs) may be able to try and answer questions/share their experiences)...
Anyway, fröhliche Weihnachten

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. GENERAL COMMENT AND REQUEST:
We ask all the regular contributors here to please answer the "xxx is broken" or "yyy force closes" statements without an attached logcat with something like "LOGCAT or it didn't happen"
Feel free to be creative but DO NOT respond with wipe cache/clear data or any other attempted solution before the reporting user has taken the trouble to actually try to help solve the problem (e.g. by attaching a logcat, detailed steps to reproduce etc.).
We need to force more discipline in how issues are reported which will help us all find and squash bugs that may exist.
Just clearing data etc. may in fact cause us to never find the bug that caused the issue and just makes for lazy users.
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!
Thank you Cyanogen!
FIRST!
For non-development issues like battery life and mods, see the Q&A Thread.

You're welcome. Enjoy the builds guys. Lots of good stuff planned, starting with those pesky QuickSettings http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/27063/
As a note, in case you all haven't already, both developer settings and the CM performance menu are now hidden behind the 'tap build number in about phone' trigger. Make sure you do that if you want to see your OC controls and the like.

I flashed my brother L7 with cm10 from the start of development. But from time to time it turns too laggy to operate.
So today installed the last release, with seeder v7 and Purity Kernel for cm10...everything seems to be working as it should. But now in about the phone shows 388 mb of memory, is that normal?... Seeder works by itself?
Thnx for any advice!

Omni only supports TWRP recovery, use any alternate recovery at your own risk.

use INTERACTIVE governor for now (ondemand seems to cause lockups and reboots quite often)
I need to raise in-call volume (personal preference)
Omni does NOT provide root by default. You MUST flash SuperSU in recovery for any type of root
Please direct QUESTIONS to the Q&A Thread (link at top) and DEVELOPMENT and BUG REPORTS, WITH APPROPRIATE LOGS here

there's even a screenshot...
Unless I'm totally misinterpreting your statement, which I most likely am
Working like a peach here, no FC's, very smooth indeed. Nice work OP my only criticism....its not 5.0 lollipop
very nice. I found that the microphone/speaker will give an error when using voip apps like "line" for example.
the phone also won't pickup my 5 GHz WiFi but only 3.5 GHz

I haven't played with custom kernels but if you do:
I will not provide ANY support since Omni will NEVER conform to kernels or third-party mods, the mods and kernels must conform to Omni
they MUST be AOSP-based kernels

While I did use the CM repositories for the device-specific stuff, the ROM itself is Omni, which is not like CM :good:
I've still got to cleanup the trees and get everything more organized but I've been using my stuff for the past few days and haven't had any issues.
I'll look into the VoIP thing tomorrow
@asem, I would recommend using Syslog to get your logs.

[5.1.x] [SM-P600] CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightlies for the Note 10.1 2014 Wifi (lt03wifi)

crpalmer said:
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1.x (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
Known Issues
* None

Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates me more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread. "I'm having problems rooting/unlocking" is NOT relevant here.
LOGS LOGS LOGS!!!! Use this: SysLog by Tortel

NOTE:
I am not blind...I can see the DL link doesn't work yet. Nightlies should begin rolling out within the next 24-48 hrs. for this device. Once that happens the link(s) will work.
Also HUGE thanks to @RaymanFX for the original CM tree for this device.
The maintainer for this device are:
 @Shawn5162 (if that wasn't obvious already)
 @joshndroid (that should have been obvious too cause he is BOSS)
 @Orion116 (#STFUWiley )
First?
If you follow me on G+ you would see why @Shawn5162 added that hashtag[emoji23]

The wiki says that our device name is "Lto3wifi", however it should be It03wifi. I look forward to trying this out once the download link works. Thanks for your hard work for our device!

I'am sorry for my bad formulation. I only wanted to ask why you starting to put more efforts in cm 12.1, if everyone waits for cm13.
It wasn't my Intention to be rude or ungrateful relating to your hard work on this project.

Mhh... i am a little bit surprised, that you guys starting this project with cm 12.1 and not directly with cm 13.
Is there a reason for this?

Yes, there is reason. I don't have to tell you how rude this sounds. Enjoy the ROM and wait.

You got to remember out tablet shipped with Jellybean (4.3). It's old. We wanted to get official CM support ASAP and we had a stable cm-12.1 base. So we thought, why not get nighties going while we can. CM 13 (android 6.0) is putting up a bit of a fight right now. Once we get even a semi-stable build we will release it.
@all
Nightlies begin tonight
Enjoy and once again thanks to all the people mentioned in section post!
Shawn
Ok, i think i understand the difference. Now an official cyanogenmod Team also supporting our Rom. That sounds really good. If they could manage it, that screen mirroring will work stable on our device, i will definitively change back from touchwiz 5.1.1 rom to cm 12.1. Thanks for it.
The download is only 6mb. Is it a delta, and can it be flashed on top of Temasek's current build?
Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
Apparently the wiki was deleted. Also, flashing this won't replace twrp with the cm recovery right?

Seems to be just a 'recovery'

There are actually two downloads. One is the build and the other is the recovery. The checksums are good on both, but the full builds are normally around 200 + mb and the deltas were around 50ish mb. I'm just curious as to whether or not the upload completed.
