b5510 flash help - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm trying to flash b5510 arabic from a link I found on google but the problem is there is only these 3 files -
1. DefaultCalDataWithBoot_B5510JXKJ1_REV03.tar.md5
2. FOTA_CSC_B5510OJPKJ1.tgz
3. FOTA_AP_B5510JPKJ4.tgz
How do I flash them and shouldn't there be a pda file?

as demon said, you have downloaded the cab, and then opened it using the pc, which is wrong. The pc thinks it is a type of zip file, which it isnt.
copy the .cab to your phone and then open it.

try out archikitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2597220
with it you can create a flashable zip from the firmware files and from the zip you can extract everything you want.

You can also try using the magic ISO, it can also help you in extracting the .img file ! try using it and see if that works out for you !

You can have a stock recovery extracted from firmware by yourself.
-Install Firmware Finder from play or with on-line browsing page you can download update.zip from FullOTA.
-Unzip update.zip
-With Huawei Update Extractor open update.app
-Select file RECOVERY_RAMDIS and extract it
-Rename it to RECOVERY_RAMDISK (optional)
Done
