[ROM] MelodyMod - Dedicated Music Player (05/06/12) - Nexus One Android Development

PLEASE NOTE: FLASHING THIS ROM WILL MAKE YOUR PHONE USELESS AS AN ACTUAL PHONE. YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO MAKE PHONE CALLS WHILE RUNNING THIS ROM, AS ALL PHONE FUNCTIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. YOU BASICALLY HAVE A WIFI/BLUETOOTH ENABLED TOUCH SCREEN MUSIC PLAYER WITH THE ABILITY TO DOWNLOAD APPS/BROWSE THE WEB IF YOU SO CHOOSE TO.
With my purchase of the Galaxy Nexus, I found it hard to just toss my "Sexy Nexy" into her original box and into the closet where she'll likely never been seen again. Read someone suggesting using it for a dedicated music player, so I decided to do just that. After playing around with several other ROMs and just basically gutting them, I decided to just take a base ROM, "theme it", gut it, move a few things around and come up with my own Frankenstein of a ROM. Never used the Kitchen before, nor did I have any experience on what could and could not be removed, so after 2-days of trial and error, I finally got the results I was hoping for (still don't know which libs and such can be removed though). With that, I present to you...
♪MelodyMod♪
Android 2.3.7
Based on MIUI 2.3.30
Deodex
Zipaligned
Beats Audio/SRS Mod
SuperUser/BusyBox
Themed (using MIUI theme customization)
Apps Removed:
Basically everything from /system/app folder (had to leave a few things like GMail because it kept causing force closed loops even after rebooting and gutting other things I thought would solve it).
Apps Added:
AdFree
ADW Launcher (removed MIUI Launcher)
JukeFox
DSPManager
ESFile Explorer
Music Paradise (need to sign into PlayStore, search for it and click update...it won't take for some reason, just force closes without that)
Pandora
Play Music
SuperUser
PlayStore
REQUIREMENTS:
Should work perfectly fine with just about any HBOOT; radio shouldn't matter because you have no cell reception. Not much to read here...
TIPS:
Changing Language To English on First Boot

*Once logging into PlayStore, you will receive random process.google force closes, so unless you really feel the need to download apps, don't bother. They are not very frequent but still annoying at times (I think its a Google sync issue)
*JukeFox has a setting which allows overwriting of the default lockscreen with a pretty nice music control one, if you choose not to use MIUI default music player.
Thank you to everyone who created everything I used, because obviously I didn't create any of this myself. Rockodev for the Beats/SRS libs, everyone involved with MIUI, Iperzampem0 for answering questions for me via PM , dsixda for his Kitchen...everyone

Hey, thanks for the tips!
I actually used the AudioFancier theme, minus the lock screen (the lock screen wouldn't display music controls). Unless that's a different one. I'll look when I get home.
If you can point me towards how to add language support, I'd be glad to add Turkish

Great Idea...I was thinking along the same lines, but didn't see the need to "gut" a ROM, since the music/etc. would be on the SD card anyway.
Congratulations!

The main reason I saw to gut it was to try and improve battery life. Removing telephony and such that'll search for a cell signal will drain battery.
I know what you mean though

Is it really? I powered it up, wifi on, and searched xda app for a while trying to find a stable rom for her. Also downloaded. Probably 30 minutes or so of screen constant on and it was at 95% if I'm not mistaken...

I was really interested in this ROM. My N1 is also my dedicated music player. Has development stopped? My only real beef with it was the few remaining visual aspects of it having been a phone. If I remember correctly it constantly reminded me it had no cell signal.
Maybe someone smarter than me could pick this up? It was a neat idea.

I've done quite a bit of development on the S3 over the last year or so and have learned a ton since releasing this (I knew nothing when I did this).
I currently use my N1 as a speedometer for my newest car purchase while I troubleshoot and fix it.
My point is, I may put something together to make it a dedicated music player and release it on here

I too don't use my N1 as a phone - well, actually I use skype now as my phone and people can only call me when I'm connected to wifi. Which means at home, at the office, or at a free wifi hotspot. Any other time you can't reach me, which suits me perfectly. Apart from skype, I only play music, so I'm curious about this ROM as well. Provided it can run skype as well as the music stuff, I'd try it.
The only thing putting me off it at the moment is that all those force closes tells me its probably not stable enough to use as a skype phone. But any further development (or a new music-focused ROM) would be interesting to try.

I just checked my dropbox account, which I haven't used it years, and it appears I deleted it. I have since built a completely new rig so my old files are gone.
I'm highly considering setting the kitchen up again just for fun and making one. I still have my Nexus (it's actually sitting on my computer desk).
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app

some ideas here too
I did something similar but I didnt create a mod mostly just showed how to take any phone and make it work as an mp3 player and get great battery life.
I'm still using the HTC Rezound as my primary music player and the battery life is still really good.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2644588

So, my wife had been using my Nexus as a speedometer because the one in her car went belly up for some reason. It's been in there for months.
I cleaned it off the other day and what do you know! The MelodyMod r2 file was still on the internal storage. It's what I've had running on the Nexus since I created it.
I've re-uploaded it, in case anyone is interested. I've had probably 4 or 5 PMs about this ROM randomly over the year, so I'm sure someone wants it.
Enjoy!
MelodyMod_r2
EDIT- Just an FYI, I am NOT supporting this ROM so please do not ask for updates or anything. It does work though, it's what is running on my Nexus now which like I said was being used for months by my wife for the speedometer app.

[Q] New here, jumping ship to UnNamed?

Hello all!
I've been looking around in the ATT forums, and I've noticed that everyone is jumping ship from CM7 to UnNamed. Can someone be as thorough as possible in explaining why the change?
Currently on my phone, I am using CM7 and I have backed up the Samsung Stock Kernel/Rom (Entropy rooted), and the UnNamed Rom with Entropy Kernel. I switched to UnNamed last night just to try it out, and HOLLY BLOATWARE batman! I probably did the installation wrong but there was way more junk than when I first got the phone... which unfortunately I didn't back up.
TL;DR
Why the change from CM7 to UnNamed?
How you would *correctly* install UnNamed from another rom without the original Samsung backed up in CWM.
Why all the bloatware when I went from CM7 to Stock Entropy to UnNamed.
What bloatware are you seeing?

If you want to retain all the features of the camera and video part of the phone
it's best to stay away from CM7 until the DEVS decide to fix it.
I have been testing CM7 ever since I first purchased my Samsung Captivate and
now with my new SGS2 i777.
GTG's UnNamed v1.03 custom rom is the best currently available for our phones.
It achieves the full & steady 30fps according to the specifications of the phone.
The user interface cosmetically speaking is also the best there is right now.
CM7 is not ready for prime time yet especially if video recording and camera
user interface (UI) is important to you.
There are many missing features and options in the CM7's camera user interface.
CM7 still does NOT achieve the full continuous 30fps while recording video.
So home made recordings when played back will not be super smooth and will
not achieve the video standards according to the specification of the phone.
BUT it's up to you guys, if you hardly use the camera at all CM7 is great.
(personally I use my camera a lot and video recording is very important to me.)

Ah, well if it's about the camera then I don't care that much (hopefully they'll fix it though). That's the reason why I left iPhone. Was excited about the 4 & 4S until I saw that they were just updating the Camera, and Chip. Don't use the Camera at all to care about the new hardware.

You must have forgotten to use the "Wipe Cache/Factory Reset" before you
flashed the UnNamed 1.0.3 (FULL) rom in CWM recovery.
If you do a fresh, clean flash of v1.0.3 there should not be any AT&T bloatware.
(when I flashed my phone with v1.0.3 there was no bloatware.)
Media capture and playback is one area where Samsung excels, and since Samsung is both designing and engineering the hardware and software this is gives roms built on stock Samsung software have a big advantage over aosp type roms in this area of the phone. Also, Samsung is maintaining a proprietary grip on these parts of the phone.
The more and more proprietary you become the less aosp you become, and one of the main goals of the cm team is to stay close to an aosp type experience.
So for the cm team to try and maintain their aosp experience there is no easy fix for the camera. For them it is quite a challenge, and the fact that they have come as far as they have is somewhat remarkable. It is a significant software engineering task - that is almost all being done while blind folded and handcuffed.
That all being said, if you want to take full advantage of your camera and media playback stock based roms are the way you have to go. I like cm7 allot. But I too have switched to unnamed and my phones performance is great.

So, I found out UnNamed removes this:
Amazon Kindle, AT&T Code Scanner, AT&T Live TV, AT&T FamilyMap, AT&T Featured Apps, AT&T Hot Spots, AT&T Movies, AT&T Navigator, Books, Buddies Now, City ID, Days, Dual Clock, Facebook, Genie Widget, Kobo, Mini Diary, myAT&T, Press Reader, Protips, Qik Lite, Terminal Emulator, Words With Friends, Yahoo Finance, YPmobile, and Zinio
But even with all that remove, there is still bloatware. I mean I could remove them one at a time, but that would just take forever unless there's a better option.
CM7 had very little bloatware compared to UnNamed, I probably had to manually remove like 7 of them...
I guess I'll still play around with both of them, but so far CM7 as my vote. Just curious to why people were changing. If the answer was for the camera, then there is no reason for me to change.

If you want to uninstall even more bloatware you need to get the app called
"SystemAppRemover" from the market.
It makes it very easy to uninstall most any system apps.
The app has other functions too.
It's also best to flash a Nandroid backup of your rom before uninstalling
bloatware/system apps.
(use CWM Manager or CWM Recovery and NOT rom manager for backing up).
Good luck!

Excellent thank you for that.
Thanks all for the help, I think my questions have been answered.
This is the thing with custom ROMs. The dev puts in what THEY like and think is needed for a better experience. Some of it is intergral to the full functionality of the phone, some of it is just preference. This is how you get several different roms based on the same build. At the present time, there aren't a whole lot of options for customs roms. Hopefully that will change in the near future as more and more devs get their hands on this phone.

Bugs :
Audio Distortion at high volumes(Solution use bass reducer as preset in dsp or lower volume)
Sent from my Amaze 4G using xda premium
Audio distortion
Slow launcher speed. I went into Dev settings and checked disable HW overlays and Force GPU rendering and it got a lot better. Although the app drawer Still doesn't feel as fluid as say, speed ROM or FB infusion. Have not tried editing the build.prop, though.
Oddly enough no audio problems to speak of.
Sent from my Amaze 4G using xda app-developers app
My main issue is sound. During calls, my phone speaker and also my sound when using speaker phone is VERY quiet even when turned all the way up.
Bluetooth, connects, plays music, can hear dialtones when calling, then nothing when on a call.
Other than that I"m having no issues...except angry Birds isnt working LMAO
i'm still having issues with the system not mounting my sd card.. i can reach it with the root explorer but no other apps can access it, and it wont mount in recovery or when i connect it to the computer, only internal storage is detected
Wallet not working
Even tho this is AOSP Google Wallet still isnt supported on the device...is there a build prop edit that might fix this as a workaround or perhaps a modified apk available somewhere?

I had the same issue, I had to reflash the ruu and the whole deal to get back to it working again :/ But its working great now
Stereo Bluetooth headset, plays music more crisp than sense roms ever did. However zero sound when making calls, and no mic pickup.
Also people I'm speaking too are hearing themselves echo pretty bad....
Fantastic rom, already my daily driver, but I use Bluetooth for like 90% of my calls. So hopefully we can smooth everything else out soon...
Oh, install was with full wipe (twice) and clean install.
Batery
battery! and the led light being green instead of orange/red when charging

sometimes when launching an app, the UI freezes up and I have to do a battery pull...any fix for this avalable?

My battery after the first flash went so fast it made me start checking to see if my phone was hearing up. However after a full cycle it tamed way out. Only lost 10% in a full workday, listening to music randomly through Bluetooth. Seems to die faster from the screen being on though (in comparison to speed rom).
That's with wifi & data turned off most the day.
I've come across a few other bugs or annoyances but I haven't had a lot of time to play with this latest build today, so I'll make a list. So far all I've found is the audio distortion (which lowering bass in DSP Manager didn't fix) and the flashlight toggle not turning on the flash.

The best solution (if not the only) is to freeze the application, and to unfreeze it whenever you're ready to use it. I know there was a MIUI program that allowed users to stop applications from starting up automatically (both boot and idle operation), and would only be operational whenever the user opened up the program manually... But I don't know if there is anything similar to that now.

I'm thinking it might be the memory card. I was thinking of removing it, saving the files. formatting it then putting it back in the phone since it was in my old S3.
While I was sleeping Samsung Link used all my CPU. Here is the proof
I was able to reach Google and they claim that the Android System should be #1 always. I don't believe them in the least bit but hey it's their OS. As for Samsung Link Samsung claims it shouldn't be using CPU when your not using the application. It should be idle and they had no clue to how to fix it besides saying to do a factory reset. Such incompetent people at Samsung.
Then maybe my phone is broken. I think that it has to do with the bloatware running within the system folder (or running as an Android system app)? I don't know a lot about the development side of things, but I do know that once I froze a majority of the programs that Verizon and Samsung included on the phone, my battery life has never been better... Even though my playing of games doesn't help.

I think mine is somewhat fixed now. The Android OS isn't #1 today. I'll see how everything goes. I don't have anything disabled yet. I'm waiting for a good list of what to disable as for bloatware. I do know if Samsung Link keeps up using my CPU and affecting battery life I may freeze it.
My Battery reading is very different?

Don't know how to get a screen shot on here but I have so little going on with my battery that I'm amazed: Samsung 4G from Verizon, purchased the day they became available. I also purchased my own 64 gb external SD card (Samsung) but only have some data on it at this point ..... waiting for.... hoping for.... the app to sd. The phone is not rooted and uses no special launcher
Screen 60%
Device Idle 6%
Android OS 3%
Android System 3%
Cell Standby 3%
WiFi 2%
I have been near my router most of the day and therefore, the phone has been connected to my router. But I was out for about 4 hours and sent some texts, made a few calls etc.
I went through the apps a few days ago and "disabled" everything I wasn't using - Amazon mp3, Amazon Kindle, Samsung keyboard and Swype ( use the smart keyboard from my droid charge days - maybe someday I'll look around but I'm very attached to it by now). Disabled Watch-On and never registered with Samsung or activated the Samsung Link. I use a third party app and have never used Kies. I also disabled a few Google apps such as the story book and one or two others.
I don't use the automatic brightness adjust. Instead, I have an app with which I can put a fine line on any edge of my screen and move it to brighter or less bright as needed.
Using a very charcoal wallpaper, turned off animations etc. My lock screen actually has a picture from Samsung (the flowers) which I thought wasn't bad. I don't lock it but do use swipe and light... to open it. I have the digital clock widget, the owner information widget, and phone, contacts and ICE info app (as a shortcut) on the lock screen.
I guess I'm sharing this to see if it will help anyone - and also to figure out what I did "right". I don't feel I'm suffering at all from a lack of space for apps, assuming someday we'll move them to the SD card. I sync gmail and use AquaMail for my other 4 email accounts. Aqua Mail is set to sync when I open it, which I usually do about 2 or 3 times/day.
This is all I can think of right now but if I can help anyone with a specific question about one of the apps, please ask.

What is Evervolv?
Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) rom. We're fully open sourced and encourage it with no restrictions. The work put into this ROM is community driven and Evervolv Project is made up of numerous members and contributors.
Right now the current source we are working on is KitKat (Android 4.4.x).
Current Evervolv version: 4.0.0b1
Installation
If coming from another ROM, you will need to wipe!
Download ZIP
Flash in recovery.
To enable GSM, download the GSM zip below and flash in recovery.
Note: If you have flashed the GSM zip and wish to go back to CDMA, download and flash the CDMA zip in recovery.
If S-ON:
Extract the boot.img from the zip file
then flash in fastboot with the command below:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Changing runtime from Dalvik to Art
Art is experimental, but if you wish to try follow the below instructions:
flash the rom (If you have already installed the standard gapps for Dalvik, you will need to wipe first.
boot and change the runtime to Art (settings -> developer options)
Let the phone rebot and do it's thing
Once rebooted, boot into recovery and flash the Banks gapps provided below
Working
Everyting regarding the phone's operation should work. Calls, data, wifi, camera, camcorder, video & bluetooth (calling and a2dp) etc.
Not working
Camcorder will take a few seconds to start recording.
Camcorder will stop working if used repeatedly, you will know it's not working if it starts "recording" immediately (reboot to fix)
You tell me?

Awesome! Will flash this afternoon and run it through its paces and report back.
Have you ran it for a bit @kkozma? How's battery life, I know its been poor in some 4.4.2 builds for the Rez.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Poor battery life with the Rezound is just a fact of life... I know that switching to Art DOES increase battery life, but there are issues with Art that really make it not that great for a daily driver.
I've noticed a few graphics issues in this rom that we don't have in CM, so I'm going to have to investigate that a bit, but otherwise it's been pretty stable.
Netflix hack posted in 2nd post. Tested and working.
Nice job. Thanks!!!!!

So your saying that the battery life is as "typical" on KitKat with the Rezound as any other ROM?
Also, what issues have you noted with ART that might effect it being a daily driver? I use ART on my Nexus 4 and it is trouble free... What do you see as the reason ART couldn't be a dd ROM in this case?
Can someone post a screen shot of this once it is installed? Please
@kkozma ROM seems really smooth. YouTube, BT streaming and calls, and camera functions all work well with dalvik runtime. As you mentioned ART does seem to have issues at times.
Great job on the build - look forward to testing it out more as a DD.

Will post some screen shots shortly... Pretty plain jane, so not sure what your looking for.
One thing I noticed, from the home screen if you press Menu -> Settings nothing happens, no menu, pressing Settings from App screen works fine. Also, if you press Wallpaper from Menu on Home screen you get "Launcher3 has stopped" (Nevermind, it just didn't like the fact I had the SD card mounted as USB Storage, once I turned it off, it was fine). Just starting to play around, haven't even flashed Gapps yet.
EDIT: some basic screen shots attached, not much to see though
EDIT2: Gapps installed (Banks), base configuration, and some basic apps installed (Play Store didn't reinstall apps coming from LiquidSmooth) and ran it through some everyday stuff... Exchange email, WiFi Hotspot (tried Nexus 4, HP laptop, XBox360 all successful), media playback, Chrome, Google Maps, etc. all working fine, no issues of any kind so far other than the Menu->Settings things I mentioned above. Going to give it a run this week and see what happens... nice work @kkozma and the rest of the devs. :good:
EDIT3: Added a screen shot from after I configed with basic apps I use, a few widgets, and gapps... in case someone was interested.
Haven't really used Evervolv before, are the Performance settings hidden or just not in Evervolv?

Wow... memory usage is amazing so far, averaging 390MB free?!?! I haven't seen that in a LONG time!!!
Been using it for a little while, it's really fast. Might be because I had that install of CM11 for a while and I wiped it for Evervolv, but who knows.
With xposed and Gravity Box I'm not missing anything.
Anyone know if gsm is working? Cm11 doesn't quite have it working yet... Everything except sending texts...

Not sure about GSM. I do know that Evervolv uses a slightly different telephony codebase. Give it a shot!
This is my new daily driver ROM... I tried to break this, really I did, but I couldn't... everything works, Bluetooth, camera, tethering, prox sensor with no tweaks, Exchange email/calendar/contacts... everything. The ONLY think I found that isn't working is when you press Menu->Settings it does nothing, but accessing settings from the pull-down or app menu works fine.
Battery life is average, not terrible, but not great. Memory management and usage is amazing, and I am running with close to 400MB free on a regular basis.
FYI to others... this ROM is plain jane, there isn't any fluff at all, it is as very basic and has few tweaks and settings but that is by design. That isn't a bad thing but if you are used to Tachyon, Carbon, or others it might seem like something is missing, but it isn't, just be aware you will have to add the apps and stuff you want/need that are anything beyond the core of Android. Out of the box there is barely one full page of apps and only basic widgets, so you will probably need some lockscreen and widget add-ons as well if you are used to other ROMs.
All and all, for the first full blown KitKat release for the Rezound, this is a stable, usable basic ROM... I whole-heartedly recommend this ROM.
Will continue to use this as my DD, if I run across anything I will share.

Thanks for the glowing review! If it means anything to anyone else. I've installed this on my wife's Rezound and she has no complaints. She's as big of a technophobe there is, so I'd say that's also a good sign. Haha!
How about mounting the SD Card for USB mass storage? I wasn't able to get that going on mine and I saw someone in the CM thread with the same issue... I think it's probably something in the mount points, but I'm chicken to mess with that stuff!

It worked fine for me, but I did have to turn it on manually from the dropdown menu.
Edit: now that I think about it, all I did was access the internal storage to grab my screen shots, I didn't try to actually access the SD card, I will give that a shot when I get back to the office.

Ok, I just tested GSM with my AT&T sim card and it did not work. It's possible it was caused by something I missed in one of the config files to build with. I have corrected that and am re-building now.
Does built in wireless hotspot work without hotspot subscription check on vzw?

GREAT!! Downloading it now. Many thanks for the efforts.
Been meaning to try the new HyperDrive, but just hate TW so much. Eclipse is giving me problems so I was going to go back to HyperDrive, but I'll give this a shot first. So sick of my phone lagging...... didn't do it on GPE, but I had problems with GPS on that..... As well as no Google Wallet......

id imagine yes no problem but I havent tried. no reason you shouldnt be able too tho.
Got it installed, but gmail will not open. Keeps saying unknown google play services error.
EDIT: guess whatever it ways woke up. Gmail finally synced. No options for any themes or anything?
It's snappy, I'll say that. I am having a wifi issue. It was working before, not sure if it was working before I installed Xposed (hadn't looked) but it's not working now. Won't turn on. I tried the NC5 ones again, which had been working. No dice it seems. Overall, getting like 200mb free more on boot compared to using a TW rom. I mean that's awesome, but I need to have WIFI =[
Edit: GMail refuses to sync, that was happening from the get-go, just hasn't started working. Just had a reboot while reading a text also.....

All 3 versions worked fine on SLot 1 and Stock for me.
I did have a few issues trying to get WiFi working but other than that it seems to be working well.
Only bug I've found so far, is the fact that the copy paste option, after you copy something and long press to paste, the word does not come up anywhere and you cannot paste anything.
Edit: been running darkmeat 2, and it will not remember wifi after a reboot. Have to manually reconnect everytime. I can honestly say, this thing is ridiculously fast!

How exactly did you get Wifi fixed? I've tried a few different gogolie fixes and so far nothing!
@liv3dn8as
It was more difficult than most ROMs for some reason. I think I ended up using wififix-VZW-NG6-w-modules-modem-w-hlos-SS.zip but had to flash it a few times and do a couple fast boots/soft reboots after I got booted up. I definitely had the problem where WiFi is not saved after each reboot as mentioned above. I had to go connect and enter the password each time I booted.
@LGtMgG2t
Just got it working with that as well! Thanks for the reply. Glad to know it was the same fix! Now I can get back to fixing my original error, com.android.phone stops working. Thankfully it only happens when it first boots. I did just notice though that my SMS aren't sending sometimes. Not sure why yet! Time for a logcat!

I also get that phone force close at boot too. Usually happens twice. I believe it may be an AOSP issue though. I know on the GPE rom it was doing it as well.

Correct. The phone FC issues happens twice only on boot up near as I can tell. Doesnt seem to cause a problem and also happens in the BlackBox ROM twice on boot.

I cant tell you how many different options I tried to stop the FCs then I finally came up with a working non FC and had built this ROM up with a working aroma installer for multiple themes and tweaks and a ton of options then someone stole my laptop and my 2tb external hd when my roommate had a party... sucked I had to start all over again about a week ago. and was apparently too intoxicated to replicate that FC fix thus far... that version had a lollipop all white custom themed aosp 444 took me forever. thieves suck.
im not sure as to the wifi settings not saving I also noticed that only allowing unknown sources to install only works for a single package install.... glad to hear most of you got the wifi issues figured out by installing one of the generic fixes I made for anyone on NC firmware it should work on install.
the gmail issue might be due to a newer version available. if its an issue for anyone just delete it via the safestrap filebrowser and reinstall via playstore.
i'll keep working on the ROM and this aroma installer with themes and what not i have a hard time deciding what to put into it I had like 20 different options for dialer and contacts, mms, systemui and framework was coming up with some interesting themes probably giong to just do that again. i had the option to either use TW or AOSP too
thanks for the feedback guys!

Of note, I hacked the unknown sources before the first thing I installed, have installed a couple more and it hasn't asked me yet. I flashed the ng6 and nk1 (whatever the new one is) modules just to see if it made a difference saving wifi and it didn't. Love the quickness of this thing so far!
Just a thought, but have you guys tried Instabridge? It works great for saving wifi passwords. Well auto connect also. I know having a completely working room would be nice, but it could help those wanting this as a daily driver. I've been playing with empty galaxy myself. dOPE was faster, just couldn't rock it as a daily. ....

Anyone else getting a boot loop with the PSOA-BB-DarkMeat-v3-gogolie ROM? I clean flashed on the stock slot. Guess I'll try v2 and see what happens and might need to download v3 again.
