Exomount $19.95 free shipping - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

I think this is the best price on Exomount. http://www.eaccess-estore.com/store/products/Holders/exomount_universal_car_mount_egem_blk.htm
Only problem was it took awhile for them to get in stock. Web Site says May 10 in stock. They have good customer service and fast free shipping. Fast response to email questions.

You don't see many phones upright in the car mounts. They're always sideways. Exomount @ $19.95 is a good deal!

What I mean is that if you put the phone in the mount sideways (landscape) then it will fir fine as it's not more than 5". Then yes, rotate it to portrait.

The mount fits the phone perfectly, even with a big fat case like the otter box. Slide it upright if want, it will still hold it in place.

Galaxy SII Video Rig

The Galaxy SII takes AMAZING videos, but holding it like a phone is a bit annoying. I found this for an iPhone:
http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/owle-iphone-video-rig/
And this for a DSLR:

Anything like that for the Galaxy SII? No lens required, just a good comfortable holder.
There is an aluminum bumper on Ebay which has a screw whole built in which you can use to mount on

Doesn't have any tripod mount or video camera purpose, although I was considering it just as a case.

The design of the screen protector leads me to believe it's for both. Plus the commuter's page says it's for both. After reading the cases dimensions though, I'm waiting to try one in person before buying. I'm not sure if I can fit it in my pocket, it will add around 1/2 -1 inch both height wise and length wise

White AT&T Note battery cover not fitting?

Does anyone else have this issue? The middle clip on the power side wont clip down properly. I had to trim a tiny bit off the clip hole in the phone to get it to stay down. Even then its still bulges a bit.

Mine does it too, and Samsung will not replace it under warranty for whatever reason. They want me to pay to replace it, but don't know if the replacement part has the nfc. AT&T offered to replace the phone under warranty as I am well past my 30 days. It just pops off on its own, real annoying.

The reason it happens is because you've broken either one or several of the clips on the cover itself. Happens on mine too.

No. I have had three notes and 2 out of 3 had the problem and the covers were all fine. It just depends on if you get a solid one.

Nexus Charging Orb - Does Magnetism work with DNA?

Hey Guys -
I know the wireless charging will work because of the Qi standard, but will the phone stay put? Any impressions from those who own it would be appreciated.
I could be wrong but I don't think its magnetic.. the back of the nexus is glass I think the orb is just a rubberized surface that "grab's" the back of the phone.. i.e. just friction holds it on... I think!
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2
Nobody has the orb yet, I think. It just now became available, with shipping withing a week. Plus the shipping time. I ordered one the first day it was available, but don't expect it before the end of next week.
Ok, they are shipping them today. Won't be long before we find out.

I'm with you on this one, because I read it would be compatible with windows 8 and htc phones. And pictures look like the two circles on top are rubber. Just what it looks like to me
I have the touchstone charger and it has magnet in it.
from what I see it is held up 80% by friction, 20% by magnetic force.
Too bad the touchstone wont work on Droid DNA otherwise I think it would be a great charging dock.
Mine will be arriving tmrw (Friday)

Magnet lightly holds. The surface of the orb is quite sticky and holds it just fine by itself - the magnet is obviously less apparent with a case on.

Works like a charm! Together they're a thing of beauty.
So there is a magnet in it? I thought it would only be the anti-slip rubber that they try and sell for car dashboards. One question, does it work with the phone horizontal? That's something my Nokia DT-910 can't do.

Yes there is a magnet, yes it works with the phone in landscape.
However, it doesn't activate DreamScene or whatever it does with the N4 (also doesn't flip home screens to landscape like it does in car mode).

The dream mode is a 4.2 feature so I don't think anyone expected it to be on the DNA. And on stock there isn't landscape homedscreens. You'll either need a Rom or a 3rd party launcher for that.

Mine was like this also until I took the case off and broke in the power button a bit. Basically, with the case off, just press the power button on the case in really hard up to ten times to break in the rubber. The button was better after that, guess the "hinge" part of the button was too stiff.
My power button is great. Didn't have to do any of that.

I don't mind the stiff response from the power button, I've had some that pressed too easily and turned on/off in my pocket or accidentally wrote I was holding a phone.
I mostly leave the phone on and wake it with the home button or by pulling out the S pen.

Neither. They are both sourcing them from the same supplier that allows their clients to brand the product.

It's not stiff, it's mushy. Saying "it's harder to press" actually means it's harder to activate/trigger. The material squishes and tilts instead of pushing straight down into the original button making it require much more travel to activate reliably.
