Blue Particles Boot Animation - Transformer TF300T Themes and Apps

For those who do not like the Asus boot animation, here is the blue particles boot animation that works on the 300 pad. Just use root explorer and rename the original boot animation in system/media to bootanimation.bak and place this one place in the same folder then reboot, enjoy!
I am not a fan of deleting anything out of a tab or phone until we have a workable recovery.img so I recommend just renaming everything that you change! If you liked and use please hit the thanks button.

So this is 1280x800? Can we usr any this size?

if the blackground is a constant color and the animation does not go off screen, you should be able to utilize any resolution.

Yes, I have this boot animation on my Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Tab and the TF300 and it seems to re-size somewhat on each device.

I wanna say thanks for this boot animation. Pretty darn cool. I'm enjoying it. Thought it was so much better than the stock bootaanimation, that I even restarted the tablet to show my wife. She thought it was a blast, and giggled.
Thanks again. Wish you had a small photo on the thread so others would know what its going to look like. But it was worth the install.
Louis

Very cool !
Thanks !

Boot Animation
My wife thought it would be a cool idea if someone could make a "Quantum Leap" theme boot animation.
I guess it can be done.....right?
Louis

How do you apply this on non rooted devices?

I know this is a simple task, but placing this file in the required location and setting does not change my boot logo... stock .13 rooted....

I can't change the file name

Hi Guys
I am unlocked and rooted. In Voodoo OTA RootKeeper it says I am rooted with root permission and system support root protection. Could it be the system root protection and if so how do I turn it off. If not what am I doing wrong.

All you should have to do is download the Droid_Destroys_Apple_Atrix_Boot zip file, unzip, open folder you unzipped to, navigate to system/media in the folder, copy bootanimation.zip to your sdcard, rename your original boot animation in your phone at system/media to something like bootanimation_bak.zip, move the new bootanimation into system/media on your phone, reboot.

Building on the topic,
I recently bought an AT & T Atrix in DX and came up with a modified ROM, as some had progras in Chinese, I chose to switch to the 2.3.6 rom from AT & T.
He loved the boot animation that came, but upgraded to the AT% T rom and there was the boot animation. I wonder if anyone knows this boot is animator? If possible, can put the link?

For me I got it to work by copied the apk over to the systems/apps dir. Renamed the original then changed the permissions. Works pretty good. The lock screen part seems to have issues for the display. It will show just a default music icon. then when i change a song using the controls, it will find the right text to display. Anyone else seeing that?

Transition Animations for All

OK here ya go I tried to test these as best I could but as always USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I would NAND Backup if I didn't want to have to reflash my ROM (like that was ever an issue).
This uses D.O.C. theme engine so they can be flashed on virtually ANY ROM.
Big thanks to Snuzzo as well THANKS

Nope. No workaround. Also with vrtheme, if you want your old animations back, there is a folder created as "vrtheme-backup" on your sd card. These could potentially work on nearly any ICS rom.

only "work around" for it would be to extract the framework-res.apk from your system/framework directory.
place it on your pc, use 7zip to explore the apk with out opening it and drop the "anim" folder into the apk where the old one is.
then push apk back to phone.

Do you even know what adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local is? You are putting the bootanimation.zip file into the /data directory which cannot be written to without root.
Also, this is xda. If anything, you are on CNN.com and the "other websites" are tabloid sites. Trust the advice you find here

I think you should try pushing to system/media OP.
root access is generally irrelevant, the file just needs to be there and have the right name.
If you install the root right, e.g. From xda-developers (usually there are guides how to install) you nearly can't brick it. It's very hard to make a full brick

Galaxy S4 CWMBoot custom Boot Animation

Had this custom boot animation for the Galaxy S4 made from JaeKar99 over at DroidRzr.com >> http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/user/35656-jaekar99/
This is all his work, I just asked for something and he made it. All credit goes to him.
Installation:
Must be rooted
Download the CWMBoot.zip attached
Unzip and extract files.
Using a root explorer, navigate to />system>media and rename bootsamsungloop.qmg and bootsamsung.qmg by placing .bak on the end.
Copy bootsamsungloop.qmg and bootsamsung.qmg that you previously extracted and place in />system>media
Reboot and enjoy your new animation.
An image of what the boot looks like is attached.
Love this!
Thanks!

No; the CWM in the file name stands for clockworkmod recovery not cyanogenmod. If you ever used Clockworkmod recovery its the progress animation that is depicted in this boot animation.
