Recording only particular call automatically - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Is there an app for recording a call from particular number only and not all calls..automatically
e.g. If I get a call from person A, then only call will be recorded automatically else it will not record..
Thanks in advance

For sure, it's not on CM9/AOKP, don't know about Sammy-based ROMs.

This one i know what i'm talking about....
call recording depends on local and state laws. Some states/countries it is against the law to record phone conversions. While it other only one of the two party members must be made aware of the recording and very very few allow one to record a phone call with out either member knowing.
I would first HIGHLY suggest looking into your local laws regarding this prior to doing it. You could get in some trouble over it.
I know Google Voice will allow you to record incoming calls, but not out going calls. Other than that i do not know of program that will allow you to do this.
this is mainly for when i call customer service lines so there is no problem as they record it as well. plus i'm in a state where only one party (myself) needs to be informed.
edit: tried vrecorder but it records from microphone. no biggie but who likes to use speakerphone?
i read somewhere that android itself limits the recording. can anyone clear this up for me?
I've tried a few of them- all of them were OK if using speaker. without speaker only your voice can be heard and the other side only very faint, if heard at all.
now I an using "record my call" (with the ugly big red button) and it is relatively working fine most of the time. I like it because it enables you to classify as important, delete record etc after the call...
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Android doesn't have any mechanism for recording incoming audio in the OS. For some reason it's missing, even though Android is not bound to US borders, and call recording is perfectly legal in other parts of the world. This is the reason why there are few programs to record calls on Android, and none of them work w/o using speaker.
The only existing way to record would be to put the phone on speaker and use any voice recorder you want.
I use "allcallrecorder" just search for it in the market. Works great for me.

Earpice dosnt work

I was using Nitorgen OS 8.1 and everything was perfect. I treyed to use boldbeast call recorder, and now my earpiece dosnt work. Please help me, i even wiped internal storage and still the same problem.
Putting aside the fact that recording a phone call is mostly illegal in some countries, have you tried clean flashing another rom? (AKA. Formatting data on TWRP and then flash rom+gapps+firmware as usual)
i fixed it, but why is it illegal if i and my friend play a game together, record our call and put the video on Youtube? E.g. disord call?

I'm talking about a phone call over your cell phone provider, I don't think that a call over the internet goes by the same rules.
It's illegal when you as the caller don't notify the other person you're talking to that you are recording the call

1400Hz tone when recording calls with Android Pie - How to disable? [unanswered]

Hello fellow droiders,
February 2018 it was announced that Android Pie will add call recording tone support so calls could be recorded lawfully:
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-p-call-recording-tone-support-record-phone-calls-lawfully/
I can confirm that Google did this... I'm in UK and here you don't need consent to record calls, but because Vodafone is Germany based and there you need consent, they activated this tone feature for UK clients as well. Which means that every time I call someone and record a call, other party hears 1400Hz tone every 15 seconds, making call recording pretty much unusable.
Any ideas from fellow hackers how to turn this feature off?
The tone is a 1400Hz note that will play every fifteen seconds if the carrier enables it. It works by detecting the package name of a call recording app using the previously linked API. If any such package is detected, then the outgoing call will have the tone played to warn the other end that their call may be recorded. The tone will be automatically played depending on carrier configuration, which is determined by the SIM card.
Any chances to change a package name to something that wouldn't be recognized by this new feature?
Pixel 3, unlocked bootloader & rooted.
Thanks!
Anyone please?

Question call recording & saved records

I finally got there and ZF9 is at home!
Does anyone have experience with recording calls?
The recording works well, I just have a problem with saving the recordings. I would like it to save the recording as a contact name or phone number. Now it only saves "Call recording 1..."
I hope there is some solution to set "preset name" from the contact.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thx!
