Hello guys! I'm a newbie here and I'm also new to android fons. Jz bought a Galaxy SL and I'm lovin it. Well, I suppose everyone here loves their android fons too rite? So do I haha! So there are some questions that I wanted to ask u guys and I would reli appreciate it if any of u guys can hlp me out. Advice and suggestions would much be appreciated.
The questions are :
1.) Is it normal for my android fon to heat up a little while I charge it, playing games, and surfing the web or downloading stuffs with Wi-Fi or 3G? It's nt too hot bt it heats up.
2.) Is it necessary to switch off the fon while we want to charge it? Can I play games or surf web/dl stuffs while charging?
3.) We can customize our homescreen with lots of widgets, shortcuts, folders etc etc rite? Well, I've put some widgets on 5 pages on my homescreen(total 7 for my Galaxy SL) some of them are news, weather readers, dual-clock, power ctrl, etc etc. Will these drain more battery life and slows down my fon? I've noticed that my RAM had gone up from 245/478 to 325/478 with these widgets on my homescreen & it starts to slow down a little. And yes I seldom turn on my Wi-Fi to connect to the news or weather readers of the widgets.
4.) Is it necessary to visit the task manager(once every hour or once a day) to clear some space? I'm afraid of running out of RAM because I've had ntg running and I still can clear some data it says 4 or sometimes 7 apps closed and my RAM dropped from 303/478 to 275/478. Bt after awhile it went up to 308/478 again.
5.) Well, I have Galaxy Sl with firmware : 2.2.1, baseband : I9003DXKB2, kernel : 2.6.32.9 [email protected] #1, build number : FROYO.DXKF1. When I connect to Kies it says my fon version can't be updated. Does this mean I can't update to 2.3.4 Gingerbread? Or there are no official updates yet? (This is my largest concern)
Again, I would reli appreciate it if anyone can hlp me out with these. Thx a million...
Maybe that question is better asked over at the I9003 forums (I think you're supposed to use the I9000 forums, since there's only a I9003 Dev forum, but no matching general forum) ... as a happy Optimus One P500 owner I have absolutely no opinion on this
Just ask a mod to move it over there.
Phones heat up all the time. Dont worry it wont over heat. Unless you leave it in the sun!
Yea you can add widgets and stuff..
I hope devs take more notce of the phone!!

It depends on what country you live in and whether your phone (hardware and software) can support the app. Just like how all Gingerbread phones can't download Chrome because Gingerbread lacks hardware acceleration.
Some apps are carrier specific. You won't want to download AT&T or Verizon apps on an international device, just like you won't download apps from China Mobile onto your T-Mobile USA devices.
So, yes. Gingerbread might have access to less apps, but that's not because of the Android version. It's due to the lack of certain features and support for that particular Android version.

Thats simple to explain
older phones got older verions of the market if they dont supoort the new one but this is just about user interace
Different phones and different android versions support different appps
on th elocal play store on ure phone u can only see apps wich are compatible with ure phone
if u got to the internet on ur pc and head to play store u will see all apps available for android and there it will show u weather its compatible or not

I've just bought a couple of Takee 1 smartphones from China, and for 2 days I've tried to root them and install Google playstore. It is an Android phone but has a "skin" on the android system (4.2.2). It is quite annoying as I can download apk apps from internet and they start, but then I am getting message that they require Google appstore to run them.
The phone is amazing , very well made, fast and their 3D technology is brilliant. ( You don't need glasses and the way it works is it has a professional eye tracking camera which allows the smartphone to track the eyes of the user. Eye tracking data is sent back to the phone and then the eye tracking system will transmit one image to the right eye and one to the left eye respectively, this enables you to appreciate the 3D holographic effect from different angles).
Phone has a 3D holographic App market for 3D games and 3D movies... All of 3D stuff is in English, but for normal apps you have to use their own "T market" and it's all in Chinese... =(

I m also facing the same issue. I have tried many tricks available on internet but unable to run google services.
I found in ebay a seller, See what it says in the ad :
"We flashed our "International ROM" to the phone before we ship out. It supports Multi-language and "Google Play Store".If don't flash, the phone can't support multi-languages (except Chinese and English), Google Play Store can't be installed".
You can try to talk with this seller, maybe he help!

I bought one for myself and i have PlayStore. I recommend to contact your seller and ask him to send you official firmware and instructions for flash.
Can anyone tell me from where to download games with air gesture ? I don't have them on my phone but want to test the function. I read somewhere that i have to download special games with this feature.

Update: I found them. For everyone interested -> go here http://s7yler.blogspot.de/2015/09/takee-1-3d-holographic-phone-55-fhd.html click on the link called "3D/HOLO SPACE APK APPS HERE" unpack it, and put the apks on the phone and install these, then you will have a Chinese 3D Game store where you can download the games that are supported by the Air Touch on the Takee 1.

I found all the updated applications that I was missing from a blog, I can provide you with the link. It also has 3D movies apps and games
Hello, mates. Do anyone have the original rom with TOS - only english and chineese language firmware. Or can anyone make a full backup of it and share? I would be very pleased.

I don't have the link anymore. It was on a YouTube video showing 3D apps and he made a Dropbox backup. I will see if I can find it. I might have saved in my hard drive. I will check.
