Hi, i cant charge my photon and pc does not recognizes it. I tried red wire and black wire to charge the battery it worked for battery charged about 50 percent but again when i plug charger it does not charge and also no usb conn. Pls help me

So I went out and bought a 2nd USB cable to leave at work to charge my phone. But for some reason the USB cable I bought doesn't charge the phone...instead it drains the battery..??? The light is on and the icon shows it is charging when I have the USB cable connected and I can even mount the SDcard with it. But the battery percentage slowly goes down. The USB cable that came with the phone works fine without any issues.
Is there something special about the stock USB cable? Do I have to buy a certain type of cable to make charging work?
I bought another two cables, even used a Motorola USB cable but never noticed that... it never happened to me.
My guess is:
Fact:
- charging through the pc USB port is so slow, to get full charge you need 6-8 hours compared to 1.5-2 hours through the wall..
Scenario:
You are using your phone or running heavy application while charging it so it drains more battery than charging ..

When I connect wall charger to my galaxy i9100 it notify that charger is connected and charging indicator also tells that it is charging BUT it is NOT charging. THe battery level's going down as the time passed ....
But strangely when I connect it to my PC via USB cable it actually starts charging ...
There's nothing really running as some of u might be thinkin that an app might be using high CPU while charging ... but it is not the case as it is charging fine when connected to PC.
I think my wall charger is faulty... but if it is then why it shows charging when connected though its NOT charging the battery at all?

hey guys and girls
this morning i woke up and decided i was gunna plug in my s3 because it was low on battery and i wanted to play some temple run 2. phone was on about 30 percent when i put it on charge (ac charger) and when i finished playing i returned to the home screen to find my battery on 23 percent! it recognized the charger and had the charging symbol but it wouldnt charge
i unplugged it from the ac charger and have it in my computer and its gone up a percent so is it a faulty ac?
you are not the only one having problem with charging using samsung original usb cable.
try any other charger like amazon kindle charger or blackberry charger or any other that can fit yr s3. I am sure it will work for u.
my phone also does not charge using smasung cable so I use kindle charger and it charges my phone very fast. hope this helps u.
Phone discharges and does not charge when ON and plugged in.
The charger light glows even if it is jst connected to the phone and not to the power socket. Though the charging seems to work once the phone is switched off but jst charges upto 10% after which the animation turns blue and stops charging further. , also if trying to charge with USB via PC it says unrecognized device and the phone doesn't charge.
any solutions?
have tried different USB wires as have a cpl of more Androids at home but same issue with all wires.
I am using pure stock rom with no rooting or flashes done yet.
There was a solved thread in forum but for other rom.
Hi, I am using realme 7 pro on ui 3.0 f24 suddenly when I connected it to charger (box charger and USB c) it started connecting and disconnecting ,I plugged it again the same thing was happening but the device start charging on slow 5v 1A speed charging, I tried to connect to PC then pc Didn't recognize it, next day I used normal USB c it worked on PC and slow charging, this problem was happening when I use 10v charger ,I tried original USB (which I used first) to connect to PC it worked after fully charging on 5v charger ,
Yesterday I retried the original charger on power off it charged untill 40% then started disconnecting every 5%
I connected phone to PC but now its working and set data transfer mode, a few minutes later the charging mark goes away but pc still reading storage ,can anyone helps me there is no realme support center in my area
