.img from my Sola?! - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi, is it possible to make a backup .img directly from my Xperia Sola?!
I have got the Advanced Stock Kernel, but there is currently no CWM, to make a backup.

Any idea´s!?
I want to chance some files, but without a backup?!

Nope.

I hope you read ^^ that before flashing right? Give him some time.

Also if that's individual files you're talking, adb pull / push might just be it.

Sure i read this
We should give him all the time he need to build a nice working recovery for us.
I would like to copy some init.d files, from krabappel2548 Sola Rom to my Rom.
Because I'm not allowed to post in the dev section: DooMLoRD and krabappel2548 , thank you for all your work!!!

[WT19i][Tweak] Enable Dual Speakers in LWW for FXP CM9 [LWW]

For all who want desperately to make the Dual speakers of LWW work in the new ICS Roms (FXP Cm9) etc, Please REPLACE or ADD the following files (attached) in the zip file of the respective Rom that you are using in the CORRECT PATHS, before flashing that Rom in CWM. The paths are already given in the "RAR" archive, but for your convenience, I'm writing them once again.
For a CWM Flashble Zip (Dual Speakers and X-loud) For FXP CM9 Check ATTACHMENT....Flash It After flashing CM9....in CWM...
File Paths for Dual Speakers :
/system/bin/mediaserver
/system/lib/hw/audio.primary.default.so
/system/lib/hw/audio.primary.msm7x30.so
/system/lib/hw/audio_policy.default.so
/system/lib/hw/audio_policy.msm7x30.so
/system/lib/liba2dp.so
/system/lib/libaudioeq.so
/system/lib/libaudioflinger.so
/system/app/AudioEffectService.apk
/system/etc/audio_effects.conf
/system/etc/permissions/com.sonyericsson.audioeffectif.xml
/system/framework/semc_audioeffectif.jar
/system/vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf
Hope this makes your ICS experience even more 'bug'-less.

Confirmed to work with FXP cm9...So, it does not work on MiniCm or ExMIUI due to different building sources...
For a CWM flashable zip by 'someguyfromhell' check THIS out and post your findings and issues with different Roms. This zip is confirmed to work on GB CM7. The flashable zip in not for ICS Cm9.
Are you tried it with MiniCMSandwich or ExMIUI? Because when we tried last time, the phone don't boot...

Should I create a CWM-flashable .zip file?
Also, your first post says to replace these files before flashing the ROM. That will not work, because ROM installation replaces these files, causing the dual speakers to not work.
These files need to be replaced after ROM installation.

[ROOT] Root Access without unlocking bootloader! [V1 02/08/12]

Hello!
I'm here to present the first way of gaining root access through ADB, WITHOUT unlocking your bootloader and voiding warranty.
METHOD
Download Pokoby's Root Pack
Download the .564 firmware
Download Flashtool for the Xperia NXT line
Step 1: Flash the stock .564 firmware on your phone (Other guides available. Essentially, install Flashtool drivers, unplug phone from USB then hold Volume Down whilst inserting the USB)
Step 2: Open up Pokoby's Root Pack, and extract all the files inside. Make sure it has adb, it should be included in the zip.
Step 3: Run the ROOT.BAT file inside .../Pokoby's Root Pack. Your phone will reboot once, then another CMD window should appear. If not, start it manually by running ROOT2.bat, also located inside the folder.
Step 4: When the CMD window asks whether you'd like to install Superuser.apk, press Y or Enter to proceed. If not, you can install it later from Google Play.
Step 5: Your phone will reboot once more. Congratulations! You should succesfully have Superuser as an app on your phone. To test for root access, download Terminal Emulator from the Google Play store, and type in 'su' (without the apostrophes). A Superuser request should appear. Select 'Allow'. The $ in Terminal Emulator should then turn to a # sign. That means you've rooted!
You're rooted!
QUESTIONS
Q: What is root?
A: I suggest you read up on Wikipedia, but if you aren't aware of what rooting is, it's highly unlikely you'll want or need to do it.
Q: Something went wrong, and my phone isn't rooted.
A: PM me, and I will always respond A.S.A.P. Also, remember to include details about where exactly the process stops.
Q: I love you! You're my hero! Where can I donate?
A: I will soon set up a donation link. All funds will go to a charity of my choice, but I'm currently undecided. And, that's if anyone does want to donate.
Q: Do you have a Github?
A: I am currently in the process of creating one, and setting up sources there.

The recovery has to be fixed before this can be used. The system doesn't mount (From what I read) so you can't write anything to it. Once there is a working recovery, then you can wipe, flash a ROM, etc.

You can do 1. adb push /pathtohasoon2000sstockzip/hasoon2000stock.zip /sdcard and then 2. in CWM, advanced -> wipe dalvik and in CWM main screen wipe data/cache to finally 3. flash hasoon2000stock.zip from sdcard
or
1. reboot into bootloader, then choose fastboot then 2. "fastboot oem lock" from command prompt then 3. run the stock RUU available on this forum

Any chance for 1.18.401.1 ? A system dump maybe ?
It seems that there is no way to extract the ROM.zip as HTC implemented new encryption to their RUU.

[Q] How to extract current ROM in device and create a flashable ZIP

Hi People of XDA,
Good day I have been thinking of extracting my current ROM and make a flashable .zip out of it. Is there a way to do this? Does RUU.exe work on a non-HTC device? My device is a XOLO Q1000. Thanks.
Nandroid (the backup feature in most CWM recoveries) can create system images, if that's your goal. ..
