This looks nice - nicer that the CM9 changelog that is currently available. It is cool having the d/l links there too. Did you make this yourself?
You should post this in the CM9 thread in the dev section. Most people in the General forum won't care about this (unlike actual CM9 users!).

Yes i've created this by my self ! I already feel like i'm spamming i posted it in different device forums

One small suggestion: Could you update the changelogs with device-specific changes as well? No website that have these changelogs (other than Gerrit itself) show device-specific changes.

It already shows device specific changes (merged commits), you just need to select your device from menu and it shows all generic changes and device specific if there is any (by default it opens galaxy s when you visit site).

Great job on the site by the way. Better than CM's own "recommended" site

I must have missed your post in the Development forum. I try to keep tabs on the CM9 thread since although I am not using it at the moment I think it is going to be one of the best roms for the Prime.

[ROM] CM7 Untouched [17/12/11]

Some of you per'haps use Cyanogenmod nightly for S2 but their buidbot is out and no update since november, so I decided to compile it for me directly from the Repos it is long and needs a linux box so I decided to share it if you wants to update without compiling during ours.
It work well on mine, i Provide it without any warranty it's just extracted from cyanogenmod.com (see there for more details on the rom).
so : BACKUP before update !

Cant you just delete the bootanimation.zip?

[Q] WTF? Need clarification jeepers007 / Evervolv project

I'd like to tryout the Evervolv ROMs, but quite frankly I don't own the secret decoder ring that deciphers what in the heck is going on in the various threads that jeepers007 has started or the Evervolv website.
Here's what I mean, on the thread titled "[ROM][4.3] Evervolv 3.3.0p1" it clearly states,
"Right now the current source we are working on is Jellybean (Android 4.3.x) Current version: 3.3.0p1"
Click to collapse
then links to the Evervolv site for downloads. However when one gets to the site they find no file(s) by that name, instead they see under "Release Builds" "2012.12.31: Evervolv-Iaceo-3.2.0p1-ruby.zip" followed by "Nightly Builds" with a list of builds spanning from 2013.10.29 - 2013.11.10. Are these nightlies for 3.3.0p1 or for 3.2.0p1?
I believe they're for 3.3.0p1, but then it gets more confusing because as you follow the thread jeepers007 mentions in post #227 dated 10th November 2013:
"Got data fixed for sure this time.
Will be in tomorrow's nightly. The culprit was the HTCQualcommril we were still using. It's been updated for newer devices since ICS 8660 platforms were using it and is no longer completely compatible.
I've tested for the last day and a half - rebooting, toggling airplane mode, and it behaves normally now. As a comparison, I have a HTC One that is my work phone, and the time it takes to acquire data is about the same.
FYI. This is probably the last fix to this ROM before I open the Evervolv Kitkat thread"
Click to collapse
Sounds great, but where is this fixed build? He makes two more posts in the thread the last one on 11th November, 2013,
"Nightly did not come out today. So build in first post under the link to the evervolv nightlies.
Enjoy!"
Click to collapse
This sounds good until you go back to the first post and click on the link directly under the one pointing to the "evervolv nightlies" and find it takes you to download "ev_ruby-3.3.0p1-iaceo_110813_Data.zip" which was uploaded on 11/11/2013. However the name of the zip suggests was compiled on the 8th of November, making it older than the latest that appears on Evervolv's site. WTF? is this the "fixed" build or not? Is this the same as the "2013.11.08: ev_ruby-nightly-2013.11.08.zip" or not?
Further complicating things is it now appears as though this version has been abandoned altogether in favor of developing KitKat on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2524691 started today.
I just want to tryout the latest Evervolv Jellybean build with the data acquisition fix to see if it can be used as a daily driver. Please somebody pull out your decoder ring and point me in the right direction please!
The build you are searching for is indeed the one that was uploaded on 11/11/2013 because it has the fixed data. It is the "11.08 build with fixed data" located in the OP.

Hello guys! Since it was rooted our device has seen only one rom be developed for it so far, so I decided to take action on this and submitted a request for Cyanogenmod development on our device. We need to work together though if this is ever going to happen. So...
If you'd like to see another custom rom for the Core Prime in the future (possibly even one that has the new Android Marshmallow w/ nightly updates), then please help by showing Cyanogenmod that there is enough interest by following the steps, either for "Taptalk" or "via computer", below:
TAPATALK USERS:
1) Click on the "Following" tab at the bottom of the app. Then look for the "Add More" button, search for "Cyanogenmod" and add the Cyanogenmod forum to your Tapatalk by clicking "Follow".
(Be sure to log in or sign up with CM there through Tapatalk if you haven't already.)
2) Once in the forum do a search for the words "Core Prime" to find our device request thread. Open it and click on the little "(+)" sign at the top right to subscribe to the thread and save it to your Tapatalk.
3) Place your request in the thread by commenting and mentioning the SM-G360T1.
(Also maybe go through and click on the "thumbs up" for other requests to show your support.)
* To check up on this thread later btw, just go to the "Following" tab, click on "Cyanogenmod" & then click on the "Subscribed" tab and you will see the thread there.
TO DO THIS VIA COMPUTER:
1) Check out the link of my request here:
EDIT: They moved my request and our comments into a general request thread with all the Core Prime models. Here is the new link:
https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/index...en-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Core-Prime?#entry606756
2) Sign up with a username on the Cyanogenmod forums there and verify your email. (Sign up is in the upper right on mobile.)
3) Go back to the link above and just make a comment expressing your mutual interest in development for this device. Make sure to mention the model # "SM-G360T1".
LETS SHOW THEM THAT CM FOR CORE PRIME IS WELL WORTH THEIR WHILE!!!
Also, lets maybe use this thread to discuss and update each other regarding any progress towards CM development for our device.

I started testing a slimmed down 5.1.1 rom that someone had made for this device yesterday too that was debloated and deknoxed, but unfortunately there is still a problem happening during the flashing process that has to be worked out. It's his first rom too, so it may take a bit to develop, but the good news is that people are starting to take interest.

Good question. Haven't heard anything, but then again there are only 36 requests total for ALL of the Core Prime models and only about half of those are for the SM-G360T1. Not good.
Updated the OP...
So yeah, I've been attempting to do a custom build of CyanogenMod for our device (if you didn't already know). However, I am missing something: the vendor files.
Anyone know how I can get my hands on them?

[ROM] CyanogenMod 13.0 Nightlies

Edit: I no longer own this phone. Information in the OP may be outdated and/or incorrect. Please go to the new thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-nightlies-snapshots-t3363769
DISCLAIMER: I AM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS ON YOUR DEVICES CAUSED BY FLASHING THESE BUILDS. THE UPSTREAM CODE AND BUILDING IS MAINTAINED BY THE CYANOGENMOD TEAM, NOT ME. I AM NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR TEAM, I AM JUST THE THREAD OWNER.
It was a fun round of unofficial nightlies but the official upstream CM13 builder for shamu is active! Please use the new download links below to grab the official nightlies. Dirty flash seems to work fine if you go from my unofficial 11-29 build to the official 11-30 one. As mentioned in the first post, I will be ceasing my personal builds for now and leave it to the CM team.
Notes: CyanogenMod's stock kernel forces encryption of storage. Please download one of the third party kernels if you wish to avoid this. Also this thread assumes you have kept up to date with bootloaders and radio. At the time of writing, the latest is from the MRA58K release and can be downloaded here.

Correct, but not nightly and as far as I can tell albinoman887 is also making fixes which implies altering of upstream code. My thread intends to serve as a purely upstream source build.

I would like to say thank you, and I believe that this ROM deserves its own thread respectfully. Since there isn't much action from that other Alpha build and if you are truly building on a nightly basis then this is much appreciated and I look forward to testing.
Thanks!

Thanks for the support and glad to build it. Just to make sure credit is given where due, any bug fixes will be made only by the CyanogenMod team and/or any git contributors. Not sure if you'll get much support from me either but I'll certainly be glad to give any tips I find. For example, if this one specific bug rears its ugly head again, you may need to rename the SetupWizard apk inside /system/app-priv/ as that has been constantly force closing for me prior to today's build.

No features added whatsoever If they add it upstream (included in CM) it'll be here, otherwise no. Absolutely stock. Consider me a third party buildbot slave
Very nice ROM. Just to let everyone know I just finished flashing with the Open GApps Pico and it's working fine. I know, it's bad form to use something that's not recommended.
One quick question, do we get any notification that the new nightly is ready to flash or do we just check the download site?

For now just the download site. I may setup something similar to the pushbullet feed Chroma has if people are interested but haven't spent the time to do it yet. New 11-23 build is up now though
Edit: Woot, looks like they fixed the system rw mounting. Hm but my test file disappeared on reboot.. maybe not yet

Review of CyanogenMod 13.0 for SM-J500*

Original ROM thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/development/rom-6-0-1-cyanogenmod-13-0-samsung-t3454915
Keep up the great work.
Device: SM-J500F on 6.0.1
Status: Rooted, Debloated and BusyBoxed. No other modifications.
Country: India
Recovery: TWRP 3
Advantages of custom ROM-
Faster. Sleeker. And Smoother.
Really lag-free.
Multi-Window Mode
Startup takes little time, even the first one.
Internet speed increased considerably.
High storage space available due to small ROM
High RAM available
Button reconfiguring in Settings
Viper4Android, SU installed.
Additional appealing functions in settings.
Debloated.
MTP and other PC functions such as debugging worked fine.
Pre-installed useful features and apps.
However, I also noticed some of the below bugs and disadvantages.
Camera failed (as you said). I tried Google Camera, doesn't seem to work at all. Displays camera screen but closes showing "Unable to connect to camera."
Google Play Store is very fast but downloading never happens. (Solved - see 10 Jan 2017 Update)
First startup requires network connection from either SIM or WiFi.
Suggestions:
I think that replacing the two scripts (files) in the Camera folder in the zip flash file of the ROM with the stock one might have the camera working. I tried it myself but couldnot extract the files from the stock image. Trying.
Notification panel must be more customisable.
Mobile data enable in one click from notification panel. Like in stock Samsung.
Alternative option for enabling stock notification panel. (I just love the Samsung one. Very convenient.)
The rest are all fine.
So, why was this thread closed. I know "GPL Complaint". But is this site for discouraging custom modifications and creations?
Update - 10 Jan 2017
Solved: Google Play Store downloading. Just a temporary network glitch.
Bug (may have been mentioned before in earlier posts): Unable to switch to 3G only mode in either SIMs. Option shows selected but doesn't work actually and connects to 2G. 3G works if automatically detected.

If you know why it was closed, why do you ask?
XDA has rules like any other forum. You must obey the rules. If you're not obeying them, then it's your fault.
Simple as that.
I don't know why you made this thread, because it won't change anything. Actually, it will just start discussions again.

I didn't open the thread to question the closing. You misunderstood me. I did it to review on the ROM and encourage the developer.
And yes, starting up discussion of developing Cyanogen mod 13 for J500* is a part of it.

All your gonna do by starting up this discussion again is cause an argument.
It ain't gonna lead any where.
The Dev responsible for this ROM ain't gonna start up this ROM again on XDA.
If finished his work, posted it on a different site and has moved on by finishing his work and changing phones to find a development community that appreciates his work.

Just a review. Don't think so further. It's not THAT serious.

Well, if it is so then could you please forward me the link to the Facebook page.
And is the Zonik Build for J500F on 6.0.1?

Let me remind everyone here that providing links to non GPL compliant development, via PM or otherwise on XDA, is against the rules.

I am sorry if posting this was a violation. As you see I am a new member. I am not giving an excuse but the purpose of this thread was to start further development of CyanogenMod ROM for J5 and not continuation of the original non-GPL complaint ROM. It was just an cited example to illustrate the ROM type.
If I knew how to make a kernel (and had the correct resources) I would happily continue where zonik left and why don't you warn before performing what you did, aren't humans error prone?

1. DJ_Steve's kernel IS GPL complaint
2. Now the developers that are banned from XDA made a aroma TWRP AND stable cyanogenmod 13
3. (for mods) unban them
