Droidmote - Transformer TF300T Themes and Apps

Anyone else successfully using Droidmote with this? runs fine, but somehow making a gamepad profile seems beyond me
Sent from my VS910 4G using Tapatalk 2

DroidMote was tested and work very well on Transformer TF300T.
To make a touch profile is very simple:
1) take a Screenshot of your game
2) open the app "Touch Profile Creator" and map your controls
3) put the result xml file to the sd card of your device with the DroidMote Client installed
look the process in video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN5jCXgEUfo
and this is the result:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW17OYZ71d0
p.s.
you must create touch profile only if the game not support real gamepad, infact if the game support real gamepad, DroidMote simulate a real controller and you do not need touch profile.

delete

how does this app compare to sixaxis??

Now with DroidMote you can use also your hardware controller like in this video to play with all multi-touch and normal android and windows 8 games:

Where to drop the XML files
I had downloaded all the XML profiles from the forum and started to search where to drop this files on the phone. This information is kind of missing everywhere.
So, for who may seek this info:
On the root of my sdcard I created the folder droidmote, copied all the XML files there and it just worked.

Android presentation remote

clicker hardware:
I want a remote to control an android phone via a device like the targus bluetooth laser for mac. So far I've only seen software to control a pc via an android.
click for screen capture software:
So far I read screenshot er, picme, dropcap2 and ShootMe are screen capture applications for android. Which would allow use of a "hot key" to automate the screen capture of android to an automatically enumerated file in a pre-determined folder?
My whole intent is to either get a clicker or at least a bt mouse to automate a screen capture on the android to be saved to a unique file on the android sd.
I have paired that remote with my phone and it works but does not stay connected. It may be a problem with the stock Charge bt software. Maybe there is way to write a script to take a screenshot when a key from the remote is sent.

I too am desperately looking for a BT presenter for my android ICS tablet. I do presentations with my tablet and I'm sick of using my mouse for PowerPoints. Any ideas?

[Q] android to wii streaming?

hi all I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get videos from android to the wii (hacked of course). I have tried to just plug in a usb cord in the back like I do for my psp but every time I go into an app for watching movies it wont show my phone. I know I can just take the sd card out but its a real pain to take the back off my phone and the case I have on it too. anyone have any ideas (besides taking out the sd)?
i'm wondering the same thing, they both have bluetooth, so maybe there's a way to stream music/video from android onto it that way? even if that isn't possible, is there a way to trick the wii into thinking it's a linux computer, and stream via wifi? (wiimc should be able to identify it at that point, no?)
i doubt anyone's going to bother trying to get this to work : (
What about a dlna server and wiimc? Does it work?
Or set up samba filesharing on android and connect from wiimc?

Yes it's completely possible (and without wires) to stream videos off your rooted Android to your modded Wii. I'll see about writing up a full guide ...
[Guide/How to]Android/Wii wireless networking solutions | Stream videos and transfer/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2576185
... for now though I'll assume you'll want to know how I did it quickly
1. Download and install WiiMC to your Wii if you've not already done so.
www.wiimc.org
2. Download and install FTPServer to your rooted Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lutey.FTPServer
Edit 12172013- this next suggested app should replace the previous
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nalic.app.wifishare
WiFi share is far more stable to use with the Wii ... Well for streaming with WiiMC it works but for WiiXplorer I've yet to get this app to work.
3. Set up FTPServer to point to the folders you want to share
- check the box to restrict access to other folders
- set user name and password
4. Connect your Android device to a wireless access point, for this I used an old rooted phone that has the Hotspot function but no data connection to the outside world, but you can use a wireless router instead.
5. Open FTPServer again and start the service.
6. Now to pick up the Wii mote and set up a FTP connection
- Finger up to the gear symbol, click it, and finger down to Network
- Add a new FTP (it's the option that isn't smb) and input the info from the FTPServer app; IP-address, port, username, and password.
Note: don't worry about setting a folder path in the WiiMC screen we're in right now because FTPServer will take care of this if set properly.
- Back out of the setup screen on WiiMC and finger over to the Film icon (on the far left of the screen) and you should see your new connection, click it and enjoy browsing and playing almost all your videos on your Wii.
Somethings to note; it's kinda finicky on showing anything in a directory so just press B and A on your Wii mote till it works, high resolution videos don't work well so keep it 480p or bellow, I'll say it again its really finicky so try restarting each device's connection or software one at a time till things start working.
I realize this question is from a little wile ago but felt that this answer would benefit us all. I don't know if streaming music or pictures wirelessly from Android to Wii works but video works once a directory is loaded. I'll be testing other apps, options, or crafting my own solutions shortly to work out why folders don't always show content but for right now (just got it working a few hours ago and have been watching all sorts of formats) it's great for proof of concept and home use.

Ideas for an information board

My goal here is to make an EASY to use display for people be able to read DOC, PDF, XLS files.
Here is what I want to use:
1. Rikomagic MK802 III
2. Logitech T650 touchpad
3. 1080P 52" LG TV. (We already own this)
4. Office/PDF app such as: Kingsoft Office, or Easy PDF reader
I plan to connect the MK802 to the tv then install the touch pad (in the available USB slot) and have people use the touchpad to "flip" through files.
In my mind it seems simple enough but some questions I have are:
A. Does anyone know a way to lock android into a "demo mode" of sorts. Where only one app is accessible and the screen stays on?
B. Has anyone used the logitech touchpad T650?
C. Any better app suggestions? Keeping in mind easy is the key.
Just found a cool app that will take care of the demo mode that I want:
KioWare Kiosk Mode Software
On the MK808 custom software, you can disable the navigation keys... essentially keeping from anyone escaping. It is possible to bring back the navigation and exit but not at first glance...
Not sure how you could do this. Maybe a tasker sequence to check if XYZ app is running else launch XYZ. So even if someone did exit, it would relaunch.
Combination of both?

did it work?
Hi, did the Logitech Touchpad work?
I tried the newest MK 802 (8G, bluetooth) with Apple Magic Trackpad and it did not work - no mouse movements, no clicks.
This might be of use to you, Smart Protector. I've used it in conjunction with launchers that can hide icons to stop anyone from messing about with the setup.

Creating a Marshmallow-compatible Sixaxis alternative

Hi All,
I have a PS4 controller that I've been using between my Nexus 6 and Shield tablet using the Sixaxis Controller app. When my N6 got Marshmallow, Sixaxis stopped working and instead showed these errors when starting up
Code:
Could not load bluetooth library...
Error: Failed to configure bluetooth...
Could not load HCI library...
Some posts online said it might be because the app needed to request new permissions for api 23. I've tried decompiling, adding the permission, and recompiling with APK Studio. I also installed it as a system app. No change, still broken.
With no word from the Sixaxis dev months after 6.0's release, my question is: what would it take to write a Marshmallow-compatible Sixaxis alternative? I have some experience writing apps, but haven't touched JNI/NDK. Also, I've been doing some research on the history of Bluez vs. Bluedroid and it looks like there aren't really any equivalents to hcitool and hcidump for Bluedroid.
To clarify, the goal is only to get the controller to connect to the system. I'm not interested in the touch mapping, mouse emulation, or other extra features.
I'm interested in it too, don't know why no one ever replied. We can try to make an open sourced app.
Is there any document about the protocol used by PS3 controller? Seems like PS3 controller use some incompatible bluetooth protocol, I used Sixaxis app before, when I connected PS3 controller using BT, all other BT devices were dropped.
I am also getting this issue. No responses?
I have the same problem. any solution?
Yes please, not that I can help, but it'd be greatly appreciated.
Bump
Still nothing? It wouldn't be as bad but the native DS4 pairing mode sucks so bad on Android (Massive input delay after 30 seconds)
EDIT: Their website 404's... http://dancingpixelstudios.com/sixaxiscontroller/about.html
they are alredy working on it http://dancingpixelstudios.com/2016/02/05/migration-to-wordpress/
Love this app. I'm glad he still rocking. Google should just buy him out and implement this into their future OS... Give this man a job!
I am also having the same problem on HTC one m8 with gpe 6.0 rom.
Any news?
So far I have seen no update, but on his site he says he is working on it.
looks like there is no update for this
Is there any alternative available for this?
It' been months and still no update. Does someone know any alternative solution or app?

[HELP] [REQUEST] AM2R game don't work on Android TV, how to fool it?

Hello guys,
I saw this topic on the forum about a custom Fortnite apk, bypassing the device check to play it on any device:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/port-fortnite-android-device-check-t3827258
And i have a similar problem so that's why i create this thread.
There is a game called AM2R, which is a really nice Metroid 2 remake made by true fans on Game Maker 1.4
It's a pc game but Game Maker can also export it on android. The problem is the version 1.4 can only export on Android phones, not Android TV. The version 2.0 can export on Android TV but i asked the dev and they said it's impossible to convert their game to game maker 2.0 because it would take a huge amount of work.
But i want to play it on Nvidia Shield TV, which is an android TV, since i don't have a PC and i don't like to play on a small phone, especially with a virtual controller.
When i tried to launch the game on my Nvidia Shield TV, i have this message:
'' FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of <Unknown Event>
for object oTestKeys:
Incorrect Android target... this executable targets Android TV devices. This build is for Android. ''
As you can see, the game check the device and see that it's not a phone so it doesn't launch.
I think it's possible to modify the apk to fool the game and make it work on Android TV, using a similar method than the one used for the Fortnite mod.
But I tried the tutorial of that topic and when i decompile the apk using apktool, there is no smila folder so i can't modify the file needed.
Maybe there is something to do in the Android Manifest, i saw something called ''intent'', with the words ''ouya'' and ''tv'' in it (ouya = another android tv)
And i saw on internet that a developer can ban Android TV using a command in Android Manifest, so I think the opposite is possible too. Maybe there is something to delete in it.
Or something to add in the apk to bypass the device check and say to the app that it's not an Android TV but a Samsung phone, like for the Fortnite mod.
So can someone try to modify the apk to make it work on Nvidia Shield TV please?
I'm not an Android specialist so i can't do it myself...
Here is a link to download the apk:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LrddBPcAK9Ufs9Eo8Jl5Z_zTTDvKzzHO/view
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards.
Another solution could be an app simulating a phone on android tv, maybe the app would launch.
But i don't know if it exist
So no solution? :/
It's really impossible?
