New version of Swype - importing previous personal dictionary? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

is there any way to export my existing swype personal dictionary to the new version? please note that the app has a different name to the previous versions...

Yeah, I'm trying to figure this out myself... subscribing.

not completely sure, but i think the personal dictionary moves along to new version.
Also, where are you updating from? I looked in the installer, the keyboard settings and it doesn't say anything about updating?

I just went back to the website to download new installer. I saw in the announcement thread that it might take up to 72 hours for the update to hit the phone.
However, it's no longer named "Swype"... it's named "Swype Beta" now. And the data folder changed from com.swype.android.inputmethod --> to com.nuance.swype.input. In this new program folder, there isn't the same swypedata folder that contains the udb folder, which holds the actual UserData.udb dictionary file...
Upon initial install and testing, the existing user data was not there. Although I could have borked the "proper" process by going around the built-in updater - but I'm impatient and there was no "check for update" or anything similar for me to make it reach out and pull it down.
I'm rebooting now to see if that folder appears after adding a few words to the dictionary in the new Swype Beta.

I think that new swype wont save your old dictionary since the 3.26+ version is made with new language engine and whole database and core of the app is different

I was frustrated by this as well but the new version is pretty nice, there's a SMS to Swype app that will help import some personal words, helps when starting over.

Ya, even though the old user dictionary won't convert over, this new version of Swype is amazing. Its accuracy and prediction improved alot.....I noticed the keyboard removed some useless fluff buttons as well to make it easier to press others.

Oh so it's because of the new folder and core system? hmm maybe I could try and mess around and move the files to the new folder but... since it now integrates the "learn from your accounts & stuff" function, like Swiftkey... migrating the dictionaries becomes a little... irrelevant at least for me

In my case the Swype icon just poped in the Notification bar when I logged today to my wifi at home. Anyways it should have an option saying "updates" or at least it should check periodically for update info. All swype pads usually do :x
One thing that caught my eye tho... was the huge difference in sizes from the previous app I was using to the new beta version... the former has around 5MB and the latter around 10MB! I was like "whaaaaaaaaaat!?"

I'd suggest checking out the Swype beta forum.
Yes, there is some pretty good stuff in the "new beta", but I've actually gone back to the previous one for the time being.
First, the custom dictionary is NOT compatible, that seems non-negotiable.
Also I don't like the new method for swapping languages, nor do I like how each language has its own keyboard layout.
I have just noticed that my phone has not managed to go to sleep since the new beta was chosen as the default input method, though I need to look into this a bit more, starting with their beta forum. But it's an unusual coincidence...

I only type in English....so any weird Language swapping issues don't bother me at all

Sucks you can't import it, but it's worth starting again for the new features - i've been using the new version for a few days and imo it's far superior

Yes it's far superior, but can any one pull the trick of importing the old dictionary,I'm really missing my dictionary n at the same time want the latest version

I'm really not liking this new Beta, how do you revert to the old version? When I try it just installs the new version again?

I was able to have both versions simultaneously on my Phone. Under language and keyboard settings, the new one is called "Swype Beta" while the old one is just called "Swype". I originally had the old version like everyone else but I never got the update notification....so I went and manually downloaded the new version. The new version did not overwrite the old....it made a separate keyboard entirely.
I was so happy with the new version, I just uninstalled the old version

I had both versions but stupidly deleted the old version, installer and apk. Just wondering if I can get it another way.

Found the old version, all's good!

From http://forum.swype.com/showthread.php?6389-Next-Generation-Swype-Beta-June-2012-Details-inside -
"NOTE:The user dictionary from ALL previous Swype Beta versions will not work with the new version of Swype Beta. Unfortunately, we couldn't make necessary improvements to the underlying architecture of Swype while maintaining backwards compatibility. Check out personalization in Swype Settings > Swype Connect to quickly train your dictionary back up."
This is kind of a bummer, but the fact that I can delete any and all nonsense bs words I want trumps that disappointment.
"…AND, you asked for it! Swype Beta now supports:
Default dictionary editing! Just long press on the word when it’s in the horizontal candidate list to remove it from your default dictionary"

I have trouble with question mark use....
When swyping from "m" to spacebar it enters "M." a lot, the keyboard didn't used to do this, just new version for me....
Anyone else?
I'm using HTC EVO 4G LTE.

Unfortunate but not completely lost
I had to install through Swype Installer to receive the new one. It is so much better. Single tap typing has improved greatly as well as the swiping.
You can't import your old Dictionary but contained in the new Swype Beta settings are options for it to import your texts, gmail, twitter, and facebook account so it will adapt to your way of typing/speech.
I still had to add a few but for the most part, this importing of words worked very well.

Same here. When using English dictionary it's ok but when I change to my default language which is Czech it's nearly impossible to Swype question mark. No problems with !

[Q] Add My Word doesn't remember the word added since Vodafone 3.14.161.3 update

Hi all,
I've updated to the latest Vodafone Rom available on HTC's website (3.14.161.3) and since then then the T9 Add My Word feature no longer works properly.
If I add a new word to the dictionary, 1 of 3 things will happen:
1) Remember it until I open up a new SMS
2) Remember it until I turn the phone off and on (did call this soft reboot previously)
3) Not remember it at all
As you can imagine, it's getting annoying now as I honestly thought, "This must be a ROM update issue, I'm sure there'll be a fix soon". I rang HTC support and of course it's the usual, "Not heard of this before".
I've Googled and searched and I can see that some people have the problem but not as much as I expected. I can only imagine that the problem is experienced more if you use the phone pad style keyboard rather than the full Qwerty.
From what I can find, there's a T9xxx.db in the root of Windows directory that get's updated when you add a new word. But when the dictionary recalls words that it knows, it refers to a T9xxx.db file that's located in a T9 FOLDER within the Windows directory. I've reinstalled the update 3 times since December and each time the feature doesn't work.
In simple terms, it's the same as you picking an item up with your right hand, place the item in your right pocket but when you want it, you use your left hand to go to your left pocket and wonder why it's not there.
Any idea when this can be fixed? Can it be fixed? Is anyone else experiencing this using the phone pad style keyboard layout?
Thanks for any help given.

this has always happened. At least it has for me, on all winmo roms since O2 1.42 rom. It used to do it on my old xda2i too.

Eeek! I think I've got soft reboot confused with something else. What I mean is when I turn the phone off and on.
yep me too,
maybe im confusing the save words from whilst typing, , when you add a word, and the xtmywords or whatever its called app?
ive never added the words using the .exe in /windows/ , i do it when typing in int exp or sms, and come across a word, add it there and then, but yea, a soft reset( reboot ) and the added words are gone.
One of the reasons i learned how to cook was so i could hard add words to the HTCMDB.txt file pre flash.
Perhaps the app works differently than adding from the keyboard?
I've added words from within the SMS and from eT9MyWords from the root directory and still it doesn't remember words added after a reboot. Before the update it was working just fine.
I added all I liked through both within the SMS and eT9MyWords and all the words were remembered after a reboot.
So I dug around a little more and found one person who had a similar thing and as far as I can tell they never resolved it.
There's a folder within Windows called ET9IMEDB (\My Device\Windows\ET9IMEDB\). Within this folder are two files, ET9ASDB and ET9RUDB. What used to happen as far as I know, when you add words either within the SMS or using the eT9MyWords.exe, one of the two files within \My Device\Windows\ET9IMEDB\ folder would have the words added to it. When you then type a new SMS, the saved words are recalled from one of these two files.
The 3.14 update now adds the new words to a file outside of the ET9IMEDB folder to a file called ET9RUDBW. But when you type a new SMS, it looks at the files within the \Windows\ET9IMEDB\ folder instead of the ET9RUDBW file outside of \Windows\ET9IMEDB\.
So basically if function is add new word it goes here:
\My Device\ET9RUDBW
If function is recall added new words, it looks here:
\My Device\Windows\ET9IMEDB\
instead of:
\My Device\ET9RUDBW
Question is, how do I point it to look at the file it updates and not one that it used to update?
as an alternative, THIS method lets you add not just words but sentences (with spaces) too. Great for hard coding addresses.
its not one-word-at-a-time friendly, but useful none the less.
Post 6 of THIS thread has more notes on putting whole sentences into htcmdb.txt

Ah cool, I'll give that a go. Although it would be nice that Add My Word worked as it did before. Still, nice little work around until I grab a different phone or a patch/fix comes out.
Thank you

[Guide] New Swype Beta - Much Improved

First, register if you haven't. A LINK TO THE SWYPE BETA. It is open now. Why wouldn't you register??
Second, completely remove your current version. Uninstall it. Open Root Explorer, go to main root folder, press the search button on your phone, type "swype"and delete all files, reboot your phone.
Here is what my Root Explorer looks like... again, I am sure there are better ways. This worked for me though.

Then, Download the swype beta installer. I go to the site from my phone. Open it, follow prompts, select swype as input method. I only download the English/Spanish version. No need for a bigger file, right?
I suggest turning auto correct off in the settings.
Here is a really good guide for backing up / restoring your Swype Dictionary (root users).
Also, tell @swype their new "feature" of moving to the end if a tapped word is annoying. It used to show the cursor where you tapped. I've notified them already. They said it would be addressed and higher ups notified.
All in all, it is SO MUCH BETTER! No more annoying pop-up window! Really feels a lot better.
Here is a picture. Notice how the words are displayed now, not a pop-up:
Swype v3.0 BETA released!
Here are the details:
Swype v3 introduces two major new features: Tap Correction and Horizontal Word Choice List
Our Tap Correction engine utilizes many of the concepts that make swyping so accurate. Seamlessly go from typing to swyping and back without missing a beat!
The Horizontal Word Choice List replaces our popup word choice window, giving users an experience more in-line with evolving Android standards. It also makes dictionary control and word selection faster and easier.
Swype v3 is available for devices with HVGA, WVGA, FWVGA, QVGA, WQVGA, WSVGA, qHD screen sizes
Introducing a special Honeycomb-only WXGA version for Android tablets, with features like "moveable keyboard" that you won't find anywhere else!
To see which languages are supported on your device, check the language and resolution table
Improved licensing: Swype will no longer be disabled after a reboot on some devices; added support for devices that don't have a cellular radio (wifi-only tablets); no more license failures for CDMA devices in airplane mode.
Simplified registration by allowing users to authenticate their email address directly through the installer
Too many other improvements to list! Download Swype v3 NOW to explore everything the next generation of Swype has to offer!
Limited End User Support - mostly via our forum
If your phone came pre-installed with Swype
DO NOT download this beta (it won't work)

Okay, I created a blog entry on this.. HERE IS THE ARTICLE, and I've pasted it for the lazy ones.
First, My Rant…
You may have noticed something about me by now. When I am a fan of something, I am very critical of it. I expect the things that I am passionate about to consistently improve – to be the best. Companies are starting to learn this of me too, which I find as a compliment!
.
Well, I’m a Huge fan of Swype! If you can type faster using another keyboard, you’re likely using Swype wrong. I’m hoping this post helps you guys use Swype more effectively. I’ll provide some helpful tips to aid you. But first, lets talk about the new version of Swype and it’s features.
.
Swype addressed some of my biggest gripes with the new Beta update. Sadly, while introducing some new (bigger) issues. First, there is no more annoying pop-up window intruding on your screen. Instead, they’ve brought word suggestions discretely above the keyboard, like your typical android keyboard. Also, you can now peck and have Swype use their auto-correction feature to auto-magically adjust for your bad pecking. Not having to be 100% accurate is nice – much like when swyping, you don’t have to be 100%, it just knows. There are other new features, but this is a great segue to my gripes. Which frankly, are more interesting to me.
.
The auto-correct feature comes defaulted on. It’s new, I get it. But, I don’t peck. If I Swype a word, then go to adjust something it is a world of pain for me. Why you ask? My swyping is very accurate, especially when I have built up my dictionary some (more on that later). So, when I need to make an adjustment to a word, it’s usually minor. Now, when I go to adjust that word it seems to auto-fill a whole new word, or an ending to the word not intended. What makes that worse, they have adjusted the cursor to default to the end of the word on the first tap. It used to be when you edited a word, you could easily place the cursor mid-word, correct, move on. Not now. My cursor jumps around like crazy. If you have a comma at the end of a word, grab a beer, as you are about to be frustrated if you need to delete it. If this bothers you as well, please let @Swype know (they listen, trust me!!)
.
I did find a few solutions to my only gripes. Hallelujah! One, you can turn the auto-correct off. To do so, go to your Swype Settings > Word Suggestion > Uncheck Auto-Correction. The word suggestions still show, which is awesome (no more pop-up window makes me jump like a school girl at a Beiber show). Now, regarding the cursor. Swyping from the “Swype button” to “SYM” lets you easily adjust the cursor location. I have complained to Swype. Supposedly my message was sent to those above the ones managing their Twitter account… so yeah, expect a fix tomorrow guys, you’re welcome. Ha.
.
A Guide…
Alright, you have heard some of the good… some of the bad. Here is my not so perfect attempt as a guide to get you up and running on the new Swype Beta. Please note, they say that if your phone came with Swype pre-installed, to not use the Beta, that it will not work. I am not certain the logic here & will not try and act like I do, but my Vibrant came pre-loaded, and has never been happier.
.
1 – Register for the beta, if you have not already. Honestly, while the Beta is open, what do you have to lose?
LINK >> http://beta.swype.com/
2 – Backup your current swype (titanium, move the .apk to your PC, whatever.. just do something so you can’t blame me for user error or something going horribly wrong that is beyond me). I did not backup but I would prefer you do so.
I will also say, if you have root and you have a current Swype Dictionary that you would like to keep, read this post. If this does not apply to you, or you don’t care about your current dictionary (i did not) then proceed. Otherwise, read that link.
3 – Uninstall Swype from your phone.
4 -Open a file manager, I prefer Root Explorer. Go to your main parent folder and search for “swype” – with most file managers, you should just be able to press the search button on your phone as an FYI. Delete all of the results you see for Swype (again, don’t blame me if you delete something you should not have). I did this, and it worked great for me. Also, you made a backup just in case in step 2, right?
Once you have a backup, uninstalled, and deleted all associate swype files, reboot your phone (maybe not needed, but I did it).
5 – I would then go to http://beta.swype.com/ on your phone. Login and download the Beta Installer. If it’s not showing a download link, you can resend the beta invite email. If you get a message that you are not on an Android phone, you likely have your phones user agent set to act like IE6, not Android – ie, CyanogenMod folk.
6 – Great, now install the Beta Installer. Open it. Follow the prompts. Download the Swype version applicable to you. For me, I get the English version, no need for a full version (more languages) in my case. This really is self explanatory, but post questions in the Comments if you have them. I am willing to uninstall/reinstall to see the prompts if need be.
7 – You should be up and running at this point. I suggest going to the swype settings and turning off auto-correct as previously mentioned. Maybe you want to experiment with the default settings and be the judge for yourself. I don’t blame you, be a cowboy.
Here is how Swype appears with the new Beta installed (sexy notification bar eh? Thanks Roman!):
.
Tips For Using Swype More Effectively…
Alright, now that you have the latest-greatest… lets talk about how to effectively use Swype. Below are some of my favorite Swype tips. It is not an entire list. Swype has a lot on their site not listed here. These are all you really need to be a Swype-Pro in my opinion.
.
You know you can long-press on the letters to access the smaller items (ie, long press “R” for a “1″)… but did you know you can Swype from “SYM” to “5″ and get the entire numeric keypad? It takes less time to do, and if you have multiple #s you will be much faster. Press “ABC” when you are ready for your letters.
.
Just like long-pressing numbers, I often see people long press when trying to do an Exclamation or Question mark…. No need! Just Swype from the punctuation to space. This will add a question mark and auto-fill a space for your next sentence. Quicker and more efficient than a long press followed by a space button!
.
I referenced it earlier, but going from the “Swype button” to “SYM” brings up the editing keyboard where you can adjust your cursor location easily. This keyboard is the most under-valued. I use it a lot for my cursor, but also to select text. Really explore this one. Again, press “ABC” when done.
.
Did Swype get a word wrong, AND it’s not in the new word suggestion box? Double tap the word that was done incorrectly. It will be highlighted now. Key (peck!) the word correctly. Strong chance Swype will recall this word next time you attempt it. I’ve noticed when editing words several words back from where I left off, Swype remembers where I was, so no need to place the cursor back where you left off. It knows.
.
Want to add words to your dictionary, to make it easier next time? You can also simply type the word/combo of words/#s (ie your email address), go to the editing keyboard (“Swype” to “SYM”), press Select All, then Press the Swype button again… you will have a prompt asking if you want to add that crazy long string/odd word/whatever to your dictionary…. of course you do!
.
Need to capitalize something? If using a name for example mid sentence, simple start at the first letter and go ABOVE the keyboard, then back down to the second letter and continue swyping like normal (ie, Callip… start a “C” go above the KB, then go to “a” and continue). Need to make it CALLIP instead? Easy enough.. when you go above the KB, make a little loop then go back down to “a.” That loop above the keyboard tells Swype you want everying in CAPS.
.
The loops and my name remind me… how do you make the two “L’s” in Callip? You simply do a little loop over the “L” before moving to “I.” My name will not be in your dictionary, so maybe practice with a more common word, or, add it to your dictionary since you know how to now!
.
Apostrophes. Common ones don’t even need to have a hiccup, ie, “I’m”… just go from “I” > “apostrophe” (the period) > “M”… done. if you are adding a “‘s” to a word, just swype the word, then start at the apostrophe and go to “S”, ie, that’s cool Callip would be “that” followed by a swype from the period (apostrophe) to the “s” = that’s.
.
Alright, I think that covers most of the tips I know for Swype. If you tips that I have missed, PLEASE let me know in the comments. I hope you guys benefited from this long ramble. Let me know! To finish this article off, here are some videos from Swype, enjoy!

If you remove all of swype from root explorer then try to update using the old installer, it auto updates everything the installer, then asks you to login, then installs new swype.
I followed your method, and it worked.
The TB method has never worked for me so i didn't even waste my time trying this time.
Videos added and formatted a bit.

I initially tried just updating from the installer as well and it didn't work for me either, The reason I did not delete all the files through Root Explorer was that there were several files listed at database and entries in the Dalvik Cache. I didn't want to delete those unless absolutely necessary. So I gave TB a chance, figuring I could always go back and delete everything through root explorer if it didn't work.
It worked great for me to uninstall through TB and then use the Swype Installer, only took about 1 min. to go through the process.
Tried as suggested and swype tells me "sorry you do not have an android device"....well WTF do I have then!!!!! Anyways it won't work. Still stuck on the ****ty stock keyboard until someone comes up with a solution.

If downloading from your phone browser, make certain the user agent is set to Android, and not acting like a pc browser.
Pretty slick..I'm lovin' it.
Here's what I did..
1. Enable Root Function w/ Super Manager Free
2. Go to Root>System>App
3. Delete Swype.apk
4. Download/Install installer via phone
5. Open Installer
6. I picked full beta but w/e.
Odd thing... went to super manager, deleted swype.apk, several other files but left the swype installer.
Went into the installer, checked version, signed in, downloaded eng/Spanish, clicked install, and it says "application not installed". Tried again same result. Any ideas?
Oh yeah when I installed first time it said its a system app, am I sure I want to replace?
Anyhoo... any ideas? Guess I can get rid of the installer too, but seems kind of pointless ...

[Request] Remove stock Swype from custom ROMs

I don't know how many chefs read this side of the forum, but I know I'll get my hand slapped for posting this in the development side.
But now that Swype beta is available to pretty much everyone, why are we including the stock version anymore? Everyone seems to do it, and it's difficult to remove to install the beta.
It's obvious that the old version doesn't play nice with Gingerbread's text selection process, and the new version has solved that issue.
Can anyone explain why we're still including an almost useless version?

Thank you, but that's not really the point. I can remove it from any ROM, just asking why we're bothering to include something that generally doesn't work with our version of the OS.

Can anyone explain why we're still including an almost useless version?

its included because its the only authorized version allowed to be distributed by the manufacturer, if the developer ( the Rom maker ) included it, swype could get pissed and ask for a take down. you need to sign up for an account and be part of the beta to get it.
so in short.. its against Swype's ToS and EULA. in order to avoid complications, rom makers dont include it

That's just it, I'm not asking to include the new version... just to NOT include the old one.
The old one doesn't really work, and prevents the easy installation of the new one.
So why include broken software?

It's not just the APK, there's a file in system/lib that needs to go too. Last paragraph:
http://forum.swype.com/showthread.p...install-Swype-Swype-PreLoad-Production-Device
Edit: Instead of requesting the devs remove, write a quick script that will remove the old. Then you just need run it once whenever you install a new rom.

Again, I know how to remove it, I know that it's possible to remove.
The question that no one is answering is WHY INCLUDE SOFTWARE THAT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GINGERBREAD?
Sorry for yelling, but I'm trying to grasp the value of having the original package.

Am I the only one who's seeing the same trend here that happened in the movie "Anger Management"?
He's only asking "Who you are." LOL

Woops. Meant to quote aray92, not you since he/she said only the apk must be removed.

Thank you for the link. The Swype beta always crashed for me and now I know why. I removed the files and now Swype works. Thanks!
I agree, I want to be able to install the latest swype. If I recall correctly, couldn't they make it so we could uninstall? I think that's how it was with OG Evo custom roms.
It's been removed from mine from day one.
I thoroughly inspect my ROM for every instance of software that I don't want.

1) It works just fine.
2) It takes 10 seconds to uninstall with TB.
3) Did you ever consider the possibility that some people may not have another version of swype?

1. It doesn't work right.
2. Takes longer than that including removal of the lib files and a half dozen reboots to get the beta installed
3. F%#@ them. Majority wins and its a fantastic idea to remove it, let's get rid of car panel, Twitter, footprints, friendstream, stocks, htcfacebook, fm radio too
its not in my rom either

Done, agreed, done, may not play right, and maybe!
anyone got the new Swype beta? Haven't tried it out yet

Does anyone have the latest Swype beta?

It's available on the site, but it involves usernames, and giving my email... and I don't want to do that.
EDIT: I got it. But I need "ADB" or "root explorer" to remove all traces of the previous Swype installation or it won't install. Can anyone help? I am following the directions found here: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s2-t/434290-swype-keyboard-acts-up.html
I have always had to use Titanium Backup (rooted) to uninstall swype so that a new official beta would install. The new Swype no longer uses a separate installer and can be updated from inside the app itself so at least that's an improvement.
On the new beta Swype, the alt characters are less visible than they were in previous versions (like a poorly themed version) but my main problem is that it is not taking my system font as it is now supposed to do. The characters are too small and unchanging no matter which of my rom's (dlev on captivate) 20+ installed fonts I choose. Perhaps there is some font package I can install so swype will see them?
I would really like to just get a swype.apk themed like the previous version of official swype since the letters were a good size and font and the alt characters are clearly visible. And a swype.apk that has the licensing functions stripped so does not have problems every time I change the rom. I know xda cannot host these files, but can someone please tell me what google search string I can use to find one of these to download? It would be greatly appreciated.
If I can't get this, I will finally just give up on Swype and settle with Slideit. Swype has been a constant pita to me for over a year since every time I loaded a rom or the beta updated I have had to figure out how to uninstall the old version, resignon to swype, redownload, reinstall, etc. If it was not my favorite keyboard I would have never gone through the hassle. Why it can't be sold and distributed like a regular app in the market and easily skinnable I don't know - I would gladly pay $10 to avoid all the hassle.
I was using swype for about half a year and it was pain in the ass...for czech language swype is very stupid almost every second word is predicted wrong even with biggest option to predict right...and its very annoying to waiting for new version and installing through installer and blabla...as you said, i gladly pay for slideit (and i did) and im very happy with it. More smarter for my language and theme option is just great...
Why not register? What's the harm in that for an excellent app for free?

For english language its great app...but for language where you have lot of punctuation and lot of symbol letters which other languages dont have its pain in the ass...its always aimless and making lot of mistakes.

Found one by searching for "Swype_v3.23.apk" and it does not appear to have licensing problems. All is good once again.

Thanks, I don't like the new letters either. Will try this one.

Swype problem in official ICS update - Alternative Free Input Method

I have had issues with Swype since installing the first ICS, where it would stop working, cause the screen to freeze at the most inconvenience times. I thought I was alone with this problem, it appears not here.
I tried troubleshooting, reinstalling, clearing cache, uninstalling, reinstalling, fresh boot with nothing else loaded, nothing worked and I don't know what my problem must of been and was surprised I couldn't find anything else with it.
I searched for an alternative keyboard that would cut the mustard, I don't mind paying for things, but found slideIt not particularly good on the trial, also I do like the way Swype worked when it worked, so was looking for something similar, think I found it below.
I'm not one to normally worry about bothering anyone else, however after my woes of Swype and getting pretty much to the point of going back to Gingerbread because of it I have been very impressed, you can also utilize the unconventional keyboard layout if you wish.
Give it a go, worth it, for free anyway!

Good you found someone else with the issue but still there are far many more including me who got zero issues.
I always wipe before and after flashing.
I always use stock ROM or AOSP.
I format system every Time I went frm one type to other.
And I only use Swype as I'm used to it and even thinking about typing is tyring.
I can't believe I just read that spam excuse of a post, in Comic Sans MS no less
Is it possible to un-see something?

Yea cheers for that oinkylicious (WAC), I stated I do not normally post something, but found a benefit to myself that others may assist from. Personally I prefer Comic Sans - and?!
May I take it from your comment you don't want me to post any more.
I'll just observe, good job everyone doesn't just do that, xda would be dead and buried...
Go troll and spread your love elsewhere if you've no post related comment or have any form of positive input..
