Welcome to the "Energy" ROM thread !
There's a new kid on the block for stock look, tweaked ROMs. This ROM has been in development for a few months now and it's as solid as it can get. It looks completely stock, has Tweaks built in and features great battery life ! Try it !
This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Amaze !
I build my ROMs with these main goals.
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

How to Flash this ROM:
- Root your device
- Install a custom recovery
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #3
- Make sure to do a Factory Reset / Wipe before installing ROM

Removed OC daemon and let the kernel handle its own sleep states

Capacitive buttons backlight can be switched on/off with the tweaks app now
Removed troublesome tmobile caller ID app
Removed default association links app so you get more choices of what to open your links with (thanks to bling123 for the tip)

Fixed MMS sizing issues and can now go over 1000K
Fixed SMS over wifi timestamp issues
More graphic changes (themed status bar icons)
Fixed lockscreen FCs when Exchange policies were in effect
Lockscreen tweaks should work fine now
Changed camera sounds to more pleasing stuff from Sense 4.0
Added DSP Manager + modules (so you can shape the sound for apps other than HTC Music)
ICS apps smooth gradient fix
Revised HTC Music to remove non working Beats option
ROM is deemed very stable and will be the last for a little while again

If you are NOT S-OFF then you need to download the file attached to the next post and flash the stock kernel in order to boot up this ROM. You flash it using your computer, NOT in recovery !

Rom looks amazing. Small problem though. I'm stuck in a boot loop. I have S-on but it doesnt say it requires it to be off. Am I missing something?
It goes past the HTC logo and get to the beats audio, then reboots after a few seconds. Tried to flash attached kernel but it gives me an error. using 4ext recovery.
Thanks for all your hard work. Im still using your Energy rom from earlier this year!

SmartAssArt. For the Amaze you can't just flash an ICS Rom when you're coming from GingerBread. You need to flash the ICS RUU first. You can find the info you need in the Amaze Bible.

So... 227 downloads and like 3 comments in the thread ? Is the ROM that stable that you guys have nothing to discuss about.... or... ?

Been testing it and stable so far. I like it better than ARHD and even gets better score, 3100+ on Quadrant advance, if anyone cares. Love the Camera. Battery is at about 2% drain every hour. This is the first charge, so I'll power cycle it at least a couple of times and see. Will check Bluetooth streaming at work with Ford Sync. Great job! Thank you.

It's just perfect . We have run out of problems to report, you are the boss.
Finally found some time to play with all the options in Energy Tweaks, and I have to say it is probably the best thing to have happened to the Amaze so far.

Dumb question buuuuuuut,
I'd rather ask and get flamed than brick my shinyphone.
Can I just flash this via CWM if I'm already running energy, or do I have to do a factory reset first?
