Are their batteries the same size? I have 3 total batteries for my sg2, it'd be nice to be able to use them in the sg3.

he means the size not the capacity. will the battery fit in the phone even if the battery is a larger capacity there are larger battery backdoor cases for the phone via ebay etc
The gs2 batteries are physically smaller. I don't think they will line up but you may be able to make something to have them work.

Huh? The only official battery from Samsung I heard so far is 1650 or 2000... I never heard one with 2600
I'm using one from Momax which is rated at 2700mah. Vast improvement over the stock battery and I like the Momax more than the original 2000mah battery which I have as well.
If you have the 2000mAh one, could you please post an image for your mobile's thickness?

the highest rated official battery by samsung is 2000mah and no higher.

Make sure you don't care about NFC before ordering 3rd party batteries & covers that are not specific to the i717 - the NFC antenna is affixed to the battery cover in the AT&T GNote.
I have already purchased some spare batteries (not extended) for the international Note, hope they fit my At&t note. I assume they will. Not sure if I'll really need them, since apparently the note will come with a spare battery...

I just hope this battery is semi decent, 4150 seems reasonable compared to the others who advertise as 5000 and what not.

Just buy an extra battery. I think you can get an Anker brand with the charger for like $10. Anker batteries work well. I bought 2 with the charger for like $15 shipped off ebay. I carry one in my wallet just in case.

How does it feel in your hand. I think the Note 3 is a little thin, I would like more to hold onto. Plus, I upgraded from a Note 2 and I'm used to better battery life.

I actually like the feel of it more with this battery...only adds about 1/4 thckness to case....still is thinner then my note 2 with extended battery..i think note 3 is way better on battery then note 2 but you can always use more battery...

Hmmm, maybe I have a bad battery. mine barely gets through the day with minimal use. I barely used it today and it would be dead if I hadn't charged it while I was driving earlier. I'm glad to hear that you guys are having better results.

Yes, there is alot of people stating bigger battery but it comes with 2...This 6400 is ONE battery NOT 2....search ebay for "note 3 extended battery"....first one on the list....

What I don't understand is how third party companies are releasing batteries with higher mAH percentages, but Samsung only released theirs with a 3100mAH battery. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to purchase a small external battery to charge when not in use. At least, that's what I do. But! If these do work then I would definitely pick on up.

Samsung wants the phone to be slim. Third parties don't care about the phone being slim and cater to those that want more battery. Sometimes these third parties just stick 3 batteries together and call it extended.

I was planning to move on to the LG G3 but it looks like battery life won't be a great improvement, and I really enjoy using the stylus. So instead, I'll try to solve my battery life qualms using one of those extended batteries that fit in the original case. So, any suggestions?
I have a MPJ which is supposedly 4500 mah and the same size as stock. But pretty much a stock battery is all you are going to fit. I would just stick with keeping an extra authentic samsung battery on hand like I do.
