Introduction
What is Prototype Optimization?
Prototype Optimization is script package by me, ZN6, full of tweaks and system optimization with more features to give you better experience on your phone for great battery life and high performance. Based on pikachu01 Thunderbolt! script but repacked by me to optimized even further to fit our device. Huge thanks to pikachu01 for his Thunderbolt! script.

[TIP & TRICK] to get Better Battery Life
GUIDE TO GET BETTER BATTERY LIFE
WIFI: Turn off wifi when not in use. Navigate to setting>wifi>advance>keep wifi during sleep and choose only when plugin or never.
NETWORK: Navigate to setting>more and choose gsm only in network mode when not use 3G. Also use manual search mode.
SOUND: Untick 4 box at bottom in sound.
DISPLAY: Set brightness to 25% to get better battery life cause the major battery drainer come from screen. Use dark wallpaper or theme due to the fact that one black pixel does not consume any battery.
CPU: We can customize our cpu to our personal optimized system. As we now that underclock and undervolt are the great combo to achieve better battery life. I personally not recommend to overclock more than 1.2Ghz cause it can damage our phone. I personally prefer SetCPU for control cpu but this is the outdated version. Go buy another one on play store. Combination of smarta**V2 and sio is perfect for well balance to get better battery life without sacrifice performance.
SERVICE AND APP: Freeze any app that not in use like maps and facebook with titanium backup or simply remove any unwanted app. This will optimize our system giving some battery juice. Also dont use too much widget cause it also running in service. Use only needed
SYNC: Turn off auto sync in setting. This is because that auto sync will running all the time and at the same time our battery flow like water.
OTHER: Turn off gps, google location and google backup the get extra juice in battery.
Use BetterBatteryStats and CPU Spy to check what your phone is doing.

Nope. I have using this script with combination of sirkay's kernel and the result is battery drain only 1% when idle in 8hour 30minutes.
=============================
Seen no one like my script
ZN6.

ciao, first: Ty. n,n aomm this won't work on stock rom?

What specifically does it do to improve battery life?
I've been through the scripts and, while nicely coded, they seem to be not much apart from a collection of other scripts (which you mention - I'm not suggesting you're trying to take credit for other's work)
Is there something I've missed? The only thing I can see is delaying writing of data to the disk is delayed a little bit, but nothing else stands out.
Cheers,
Tim

No need unsupercharge. If u have already supercharge script in ini.d let it be.
I using sio as scheduler, smartassv2 and clock at original speed 1ghz. Undervolted to -25, lower may cause instabillity.

Thanks again for the rom.
The power control widget doesn't display properly.
Also, the GPS doesn't work very well for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've used the GPS fix for Japan, and I've used the gps.conf from the stock rom. I'll do some more testing though.
edit: Nevermind, it works everywhere except near my house.
Your theme looks supercool
Gonna try your rom today & will report

Finally flashed the 0.4.1 version, smooth and fast and everything works & I like the theme. Only slight lag in messaging app(for now) and "reboot into recovery" option in xperia reboot options app doesn't work(it just normally reboots the phone). Also I wanted to add power control widgets but it added an empty useless widget.
You removed all the wallpapers ?
May I have the wallpaper from your screenshot? I like it

[KERNEL][XXKI8][AOS_FIX] SuperPower BACK TO UPDATE2 SRCS

Hey flashers
Netchip´s kernel was terribly, there where thousand and one bugs.
Such max overclock to 1400 MHz, no GPU overclocking, bad scripts.
Scripts who works not, it was one big drama.
But it was also great, light, quick, not one fancy kernel.
TEST version dont have all features!
Netchip is not responsible for damage caused by the kernel and / or device.
If you encounter problems using this kernel, in what a way, I am not responsible.
You flashed the kernel, it is your responsibility.
This kernel is very very unstable, and not tested
Click to expand...

And here I come to introduce my new kernel .
It is not a big drama, it is super, fixed some bugs by Samsung, CPU overclocking to 1.6 GHz, GPU overclocking, BFQ v2-r1, BLN, bootlogo, bootanimation and much more in the future .
I am inspired by Hacre, Chainfire and HellcatDroid.
Hellcat is very kind, and helps me with ex. the compile issue.
Also Hacre was nice together me, ex. the CPU overclocking code.
But now further on the kernel, the features
-ATT sources with 2.6.37.14 kernel
-Bootanimation support, place it in /system/media/bootanimation.zip
-Bootlogo, place it in /sdcard/getin, and give it the name, logo.png
-CPU overclocking till 1.6GHz
-GPU overclocking
-BFQ v2-r1
-Removed other schedulers
-Instant root
-Busybox
-Clockworkmod 5
-KI3 initramfs
-I use the "hidden" p12 partition as tmp, so if bootlogo dont work, lemme fix it
-Compiled with AOSP 4.4.0 toolchain
-BLN
-Init.d support - /system/etc/init.d/
-EFS backup script
-Touchscreenfix set to 5 - thanks to vitalij
It is newb friendly, you can flash it via Odin, and all is installed
Thus flash it via Odin!
Flash the BETA version only if you know what you do.
Bootlogo
I have made this bootlogo for you:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
You can install it by making a file: "/hidden/bootlogo_netchip"
Reboot the system, and let it booting further.
If you want to go back to stock, flash stock firmware or take standard bootlogo and copy it in "/sdcard/getin/logo.png"

Always nice to see new stuff surfacing in our forums.I'm gonna be trying this one soon.
One thing though.Have you also included any GPU voltage controlling scripts or something?Because having the ability to "overclock" the GPU is utterly useless unless we can up the volatges a little.Next available frequency is 400MHz(make no mistake,nothing else between stock 267MHz and 400MHz works.Clock values must be 800 divided by an integer),and that needs some more juice than the stock 1050mV.With Tegrak's app I used to use 1100mV just fine.
Apart from that,all seems good.Good work man.

You can only overclock the frequency not voltage, hence Hacre's script for GPU is useless. The only real viable solution for GPU OC is in combination with TegraK's module.
Maybe i´ll try later, reflashing orig ki3-kernel now.

Sorry to say it's not working due to SRS Trumedia sound mod...(DSPManager will "Overwrite" it's effect)
DSPManager Eat's away ram & battery while it is active....
& You can use equalizer app to mimic DSPManager functionality But Without annoying persistent service like DSPManager itself.
There are not too many ROMs for stock, so I don't want to start the witch hunt.
I also don't have a PC to check the content of this package.
If djnilse or doixanh would feel that this ROM is suspicious I can change my mind.

This rom would based below V22 of original GDX, I really don't know the story between the original dev & Dx since the rom dev really doesn't reply from the beginning.
If it then what should i do? This rom was totally brought up from where dev left it off.

[TWEAK_PACK] X-PLODE >>VELOCITY>> (v4.0) [3.2.2013]

}
[v4.0]>>VELOCITY>>
This is a collection of various tweaks I use personally.
This is also included in my MDPI ROMs.
I hope Ray users will also benefit from this
Flash it and your phone will X-PLODE!
If it just makes "puff!" instead of X-PLODE, then I'm sorry No need to flame, I'll try to be better!
X-PLODE does not contain duplicate lines/ tweaks in it's init.d scripts as I've seen in other scripts.
Like raising sdcard cache in 04blabla and in the same time raising it in 07balabla too...
Or setting scheduler to noop, and in an other place setting it to sio? etc...
What's the point in that -.-
I tried to make a clean useful collection of the most effective tweaks.
The init.d scripts do the following:
-set scheduler to sio
-sdcard cache is 1024MB
-disable atime (remount with noatime)
-renice some essential sys processes
-disable sleepers
-some network tweaks
-minfree settings
-cleaning tmp files
-disable logcat (remove it at the end of 03clean_tmp_files)
-zipaligning apps at boot
-optimize sqlite database
-some vm tweaks
-dynamically set VM values (screen on/off)
-renice essential sys apps every time you turn on the screen
-eliminate lag trough entropy generator
X-PLODE contains the following files:
-resolve.conf for dns resolving
-sysctl.conf with various vm/kernel tweaks, and network tweaks
-modified host file for blocking ads
-sqlite binary
-rngd binary
-zipalign binary
-libncurses.so
-local.prop to set prop values
-init.d scripts
X-PLODE will backup your existing init.d scripts and build.prop file to /sdcard/XPLODE
This works best if you're flashing X-PLODE for the first time.
If you're already running some version of X-PLODE, please make sure you delete the XPLODE folder on /sdcard to avoid errors.
To check if sysctl tweaks are working type the following when the screen is off and/or off:
Connect phone to PC, open command prompt and type the following:
Code:
adb shell
su
sysctl -a|grep vm
You should get different values when the screen's off and when it's on.
screen off:
Code:
dirty_expire_centisecs=1000
dirty_writeback_centisecs=2000
screen on:
Code:
dirty_expire_centisecs=500
dirty_writeback_centisecs=1000
V6 supercharger:
As of v4.0 I don't recommend usage in conjunction with V6 Supercharger script.
There's no new feature that directly conflicts with it.
But I have come to the conclusion that using both will significantly reduce X-PLODE experience.
You can however use a supercharged service.jar with overdrive enabled (recommended).
Evolution of X-PLODE:
(previous changelogs)
Changelog for -=Reloaded=- (v2):
- refined tweaks
- automatically back up your init.d scripts and sysctl.conf to /sdcard/xplode
- script automatically sets build.prop lines via setprop
- added and refined some build.prop lines
- enable GPU only rendering
Changelog for -=Reloaded=- (v2.5):
- fixed a vm setting which caused bootloops and freezes
- changed the way prop values are set. It was just too troublesome and unnecessary.
So instead of physically adding lines to build.prop, it copies local.prop with prop lines to /data.
It basically does the same.
Changelog for #Firestarter# (v3):
- new ADJ values
- some VM changes
- a bit less aggressive then -=Reloaded=- (v2.5)
- dynamic VM
sets VM values depending whether screen is on or off
benefit of this is you get maximum battery savings during standby, while firing up the phone when screen is on
Changelog for #Firestarter# (v3.5):
- some new build.prop lines
- added entropy seeder/ generator
- this should boost app loading, eliminate any lag and overall make the phone superfast
Changelog for >>Velocity>> (v4.0)
- updated rngd binary (service now sleeps when screen's off to minimize batt drainage)
- X-PLODE now renices important sys apps whenever you turn on the screen
- new sqlite3 binary
- some new build.prop lines
- can it possibly get any faster then this?!?

>>Velocity>> (v4.0): http://d-h.st/KKA
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation:
-make a nandroid backup!
-place on sdcard and flash via CWM
It might take some time to boot after flashing.
This is because it wipes dalvik cache.
Please be patient
If you're already using some version of X-PLODE, please remove /sdcard/XPLODE if it exists.

hm... legit question.
I have to say I'm not really sure. I've never used that script, and noone has reported working/not working.
I guess it has to be the old trial&error. Make a nandroid, try if it works. If not, revert.

renice command re-prioritizes a given process.
The CPU allocates more time to run that particular process.
X-PLODE renices some essential system apps every time you turn your screen on.
So those apps have a higher priority and thus run much faster.

About that.....
It could be due to enabled GPU rendering or libncurses.so lib file.
Anyways, I uploaded a legacy version without GPU rendering, no libncurses.so and the zip doesn't back up init.d to sdcard.
Try it, and let me know!
ThanX!

-Put them in extsd
-Go to CWM Recovery using Hardware keys.

It doesnt lag at all in my mobile(pure rendering hd improves responsive and it is very smooth for me- fly on mod i havent noticed(since the first worked too good but it definitely didnt slow my device)
I think u use task killers. if u do then dont. That will make your device slow.
And it did increase benchmark scores.
Btw which launcher do u use( if its espier, it does lag for me)
I use nova launcher.. And no i don't use task killer even i don't have any app to do that also its the only MODS/TWEAK that i use it on my phone and u r right i notice that my benchmark score had been risen and it was smooth in games but i don't recommend the tweak but i recommend the pure graphic HD and now im using it.
