I prefer 'Notification Toggles' as it has nicer icon choices and includes shutdown options and can toggle GPS and NFC directly. You can set it as a service then it stays at the top.

the icon cant removed for real, but you can make it invisible ... just open the app, and click there to the Settingsbutton... you will see : Notification Icon and you can choose between Transparent, Battery and Default)
but transparent is ugly, becaus the icon is still in the bar, just invisible, with other notification Icons looks like a bug in the System

This application has been designed to minimize memory usage and be fast: the more memory you have for your applications, the faster they will run. In other words Lightning Launcher has been built from the ground to preserve your phone's resources and keep it smooth.
In spite of its ridiculously small size (less than 60kb!), Lightning Launcher is packed with a fair amount of features and brings to Android a very unique concept: the home screen can be seen as a giant surface on which you are free to put icons, shortcuts or widgets exactly where YOU WANT, and not limited to a 4x4 grid. Cheers man. Yeah I did notice the other suggestions, but I'll leave them for now and see what the people in this one suggest, it keeps everyone more involved that way
And even though I've got reserve spaces, I'll need those for the other launchers, but I've asked one of the mods if he can add a few spaces in right after the OP, so at least that way it's all one after the other, rather than all over the place. I'm just awaiting a reply to see if he can do it :fingerscrossed:

In spite of its ridiculously small size (less than 60kb!), Lightning Launcher is packed with a fair amount of features and brings to Android a very unique concept: the home screen can be seen as a giant surface on which you are free to put icons, shortcuts or widgets exactly where YOU WANT, and not limited to a 4x4 grid. Pinch to zoom in or out the desktop, use the home key to switch between a full scale view or the normal size, or double tap on empty space as in the web browser to immediately see all your icons. For people kindly asking why the CALL_PHONE permission is needed (notice that this the only one needed by LL!): this is needed for direct call shortcuts, and this permission is included in all major launchers, including Go and Pro.

I had installed Mi Locker and had used for 2 days, Issues found were
1) Zipper does not work on my Note2, I mean the background is not getting set.
2) Inspite of installing this locker, randomly stock locker also crops ups making me to go with an extra step.
3) Pressing home key makes the locker ineffective and opens the lock.
Are there any specific settings that have to be done, if yes then can you pls share them. I am using Apex launcher.

to be honest mate MiLocker is more for MIUI roms..but there is an option in settings were you can disable stock lockscreen and only use the MIlocker one

**Must be on a ROM that supports custom bootanimations (such as MOAR on the Sprint S5) because these are all in .zip format!!**

Instructions:
1. Go into a root browser and go to system/media
2. Rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak (this will back up your current bootanimation)
3. Copy desired bootanimation (only 1 of em') to system/media
4. Rename the bootanimation you just copied to bootanimation.zip
5. Set permissions for new bootanimation to RW-R-R.
6. Reboot and enjoy your new bootanimation!
I take NO CREDIT WHATSOEVER for any of these. I've had some on my computer since the GS3! I have no idea where I got em' from and if someone knows where some are from please tell me and I will give proper credit sorry for no previews, I have no idea how to do that lol, but if someone could tell/teach me how I will gladly do it! How to install:
1. DL from website and check MD5 to make sure you have a good file.
1b. Optional- clear data and cache for current Google Play Store.
2. Navigate to system/priv-app in a root explorer.
3. Find Phonesky.apk and rename it to Phonesky.apk.bak to back up your current Google Play Store.
4. Copy/paste the new Google Play Store you just downloaded into system/priv-app and rename it to Phonesky.apk
5. Set permissions to RW-R-R and reboot!

First of all I have been an avid Android user for 3 years but my potato Sony phone isn't working anymore so I have to use my iPad for media consumption.
I have some great tweaks on my iPad 4 running iOS 8.4 and it's a great and very easy device to use, very happy with it. I have one question though - I want these on my next phone. I will buy the next nexus phone (Marlin) and it has Android N on it, which will be even better. I don't care if the xposed tweaks are compatible or not I just need the names!

perfect idea!I am sarching about 2 years to find a stealth module for facebook..on iphone there is the perfect stealth mode called silentmessenger..I mainly want to hide this stupid timestamp (active now,active before X minutes etc).
You can forget most of those. Cydia tried to release something for android but it failed badly.
Homescreen settings, notification bar brightness, animation speed.
You will be hard pressed to find anyone willing to port most iPhone things to android
why she failed dude?my biggest inquiry is why android programmers just care about stupid graphs,colours and battery life.and NO for our privacy!I know that there are some like LBE security master,xprivacy etc...but in our days facebook and messenger is the No 1 privacy undertaker!and there are more iphone mods..like bluepill,facebook++ and some others!My inquiry isevs don't care for such facebook privacy mods?Or such facebook mods can't be created on android OS platform???
Because everything apple will fail on Android. People just are not interested. Also we already have things like xposed.
Also most android devs use Google plus and not Facebook. It is widely known as the social network for old people, kids and drama Queens.
The things I listed already come pre-built into 99% of roms. There is almost no need for things like these mods when you can change the source code for the os
