flashable, that's what the [CWM] means.
edit: added installation instructions.
thanks. I was looking at some instructions on the various ways to change your animation, I guess flashing is the easiest. When the instructions say to replace your old bootanimation.zip, you'll find it in System/customize/resource (HTC) or System/media, but I have the Ginger_Alev3 ROM and my gingerbread animation is in System/bin. Think this will work OK on the gingerbread ROM?

to be honest, i have no idea. i flashed and tested it on a stock install and i'm currently running it on 4.1.83. i'm afraid i can't speak for anything else.
Doesn't work with gingerbread. I think the bootanimation being in system/bin is the problem.

Very nice! Thanks!!
ignore, bumbled post.
Old post but since someone bumped....and doesn't work with current CWM.
Unzip the file, go to extracted folder, open system then media folders, move the bootanimation.zip to data/local (Need something like Root Explorer to do so) and reboot. Should work nicely

If I'm not by a PC can I rename to PH98IMG.zip and install via bootloader? I do realize this currently is a .img
You can't through the bootloader with this img. However there are some instructions floating around on a method to do it through terminal emulator but if you find them you'll need to make sure they are for the rezound.
Once I get home from work ill package them up in a bootloader zip and ill see if I can't get the right partition info so they can be flashed from terminal.

Can you take a picture of the back of your phone? Also, run the IMEI Motorola Online support website, and post the results here. I am very interested as which carrier it is supposed to be on.
Here is a link to device registration: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/registration/action/general
You will also need to create a motocast ID if you don't have one already.
Also,
Please post your BUILD.PROP file from your phone here. Thanks

Great, if you're rooted, which I think you are, try running terminal emulator again and run the following command:
1) su
2) mv /system/build.prop /system/build.bad
3) mv /system/build.prop.bak /system/build.prop
4) ls /system/build.*
If you see the files that we renamed listed properly restart your phone then try to check for updates.

Okay,
Looks like you're sort of bricked now, good thing you grabbed the build.prop and default.prop before you bricked it
I can't be 100% sure since you have a Korean model as indicated by the back of your phone, but try to flash this on your device:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umt..._0A.74_ASIA_OPERATOR_CFC_HWp2b_SIGNED.xml.zip
Let me know what happens.
and i got somteng wan i concet my dives to back up :
Hmm okay,
this isn't good.
You need to get back onto the stock XT910K ROM. I'm not exactly sure how to do it at this point, but what's happening with your phone now? Either way I'm going to try to somehow get a hold of the fastboot files through the firmware team.
Here is the OTA you might need once you get back onto the stock firmware (if you get restored to gingerbread):
http://main.develoid.com:81/motorola/RAZR/ICS OTA/Blur_Version.65.3.106.XT910K.KT.en.KR.zip
There is also a nandroid for your phone (which we could have used to restore it before it was bricked), although... I am wondering how far into the flash did you get before it bricked?
Here is the nandroid:
http://main.develoid.com:81/motorol...BM_kt_nandroid_backup-2012-08-10_Ritz_Via.zip
and
http://main.develoid.com:81/motorola/RAZR/Nandroid Backup/SS_kt_nandroid_backup-2012-09-25_sono.zip
The main website has a lot of RAZR information... you might find it helpful, you might not.
http://main.develoid.com:81/motorola/RAZR/
Also, please don't remove any of the screenshots you've uploaded, let's try to get your phone back up and running together, with the firmware team's help.

This is good...
I'm trying to find the original Korean firmware for you. Was there any other files loaded on the internal memory maybe a folder named CWM? Maybe the phone came with an SDCard that would have this as well...?
DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING ELSE RIGHT NOW.
ok i will wait thank you

[BOOTANIMATION] Z3C BIOS boot animation v3.1 [MM]

So, I created a nice boot animation in Windows BIOS style, using LorDestinY's tutorial.
The FPS equals the boot up time of the device, so no big delay.
Images are contained in multiple folders, so no black screen, and have the size of 720x1080 for the Z3C model.
The information used for the lines are as real as it goes, and is based on the D5803 model.
Have fun!

Sorry for late response. No, you can't use this without a rooted device, unfortunately. In order to backup your old bootanimation, using any file manager supporting root (Root Explrer, X-plore e.t.c.), navigate to /root/system/media folder. You will see a file called 'bootanimation.zip'. That's your stock boot animation. You can just rename it to anything (bootanimation.zip.bak for expample), or copy it to your PC. Then you can flash my zip. You can use any Recovery, like CWM, PhilZ or TWRP. If you have root, but no recovery, using your PC, extract the zip file you have downloaded, navigate through /system/media, and copy bootanimation.zip file to your device. Then replace your old bootanimation with the new one. If you would like to revert to stock after flashing this mod, delete the new 'bootanimation.zip' from the same location, and copy/rename the stock back. Reboot, and see if it worked (there's no chance for brick, don't worry). If you get just black screen, you should change the .zip's permissions to 644/rw--r--r-- (whatever the file manager shows), but there's shouldn't be any problem.
Beautiful!
just need to update it when lolipop comes

A really good boot animation! I love it! Just one thing, can you please make one with "Kitkat 4.4.4" instead of Lollipop? Because I'm still on Kitkat and I've not programmed to upgrade to lollipop in the short period
