MoKo cover for pad and dock + screen protector - Transformer TF300T Accessories

I purchased this, from amazon:
MoKo(TM) Flip Stand Cover Case for ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 and Multi-Functional Docking Station (Compatible WITH or WITHOUT Keyboard Dock), Black and the MoKo screen protectors
I like the fit, however touching the top portion of the screen (when using keyboard) is slightly irritating as the cover gets in the way.
The screen protector feels solid and is glossy - no distortion as far as I can tell.
Came out to about 26.00.

update after a couple of days use,,,
love the screen protector
the case top edge (power button side) bugs me to no end when trying to switch tabs...

[REVIEW] VERTEKS TFP Case

This is a review for
VERTEKS (TM) Asus Eee Pad Transformer PRIME TF201 10.1-Inch Android Tablet Wi-Fi Multi Angle View Leather Folio Case Cover (Black)
PICTURES
The case shipped out of Anaheim, California. As this not is shipped from Amazon at the moment.
I received it in 1 day (shipped via USPS) and the packaging was nicely done, not cheap.
The case some with a 100% satisfaction guarantee card, which is a nice touch. It came with a foam insert to keep case integrity during shipping.
Upon removing from the packaging, the case has a nice leathery smell. The leather is very nice, and has a slight rubbery texture. It is more sturdy than a soft case, but less than a hard case.
It has openings for control of the TFP on top, left right when the case cover it closed. Sadly, the USB plugin is not available when the case is closed (i just charge with the cover tucked back). It also has holes front/back camera, light sensor and the little charging arrow at the bottom of the device
The case is designed to have stand-up support (as seen in the amazon pictures) It is really nice, and uses velcro to stay in place. I played with my TFP considerably with it standing upright and it was very stable.
The inside is coated with a nice, soft, fabric, perfect for encasing the fragile TFP back.
All-in-all, i found this to be a PERFECT case, just what i needed.
Wrap Up
Pros:
Durable leather exterior
Soft, plush interior
Access to top, right, left buttons and slots
Front and back camera/light sensor holes
Stand-up support
Front and back cover
Full access to device touch screen
Cons:
No charging access while screen is fully closed
Feel free to ask any more questions or request any more pictures!
I am very happy to hear this mine just shipped Friday so I should have it soon and I got it for $9.99!
Does it have a closing flap (that is to be wrapped around to the back of the tablet) from the side, where you insert TFP into the case? Do you get what I mean? and where the Velcro exactly is?
Yes and in the form of two 1.25" wide strips that border the charging port giving about a cm of birth on each side of it. It is one solid of piece of leather.
All in all this is a great case the only "flaw" would be that you cant charge it when its closed. But if it was designed the opposite way the web cam and camera operation would be upside down.
If you really wanted to you could cut a notch in the spine area and give it a run on a sewing machine for strength. Then problem would be solved.
I've dropped it a couple times and it was very protective.

Keyboard Cover

Hello,
Is anyone selling a keyboard cover for the Asus Transformer Prime, TF201, docking Keyboard? I am referring to a clear plastic cover to protect the keys from dust & spills.
Cheers,
Phil
The 1980's called, they want their pocket protectors back.
As far as I know there are no clear covers available for the keyboard keys.
However since the keys are fully recessed into the keyboard tray, it should be possible to cover them with any flexible clear plastic film if you are afraid of spills.
For instance you could buy a clear Skinomi screen protector like this one:
http://www.skinomi.com/sk9728-asus-transformer-prime-screen-protector.html
And then cut it to fit over the keyboard so that it sticks to the metal edges around the keys. That should give you what I think you are asking for.

Dock with ghost armor

Hello everyone i bought the dock for this thing the first day i bought it and then recently i got ghost armor. I put the prime on the dock and went home i didn't touch it till the morning and now it has scratches and weird screen ripped parts on the bottom... Does anyone have a screen protected or full body ghost armor and fits their prime into the dock with no problems?
Screenshots:
From what I have read and saw elsewhere, you need to get the screen protector option that has a gap at the bottom that matches where the dock would contact the screen. Most screen protector companies have this option for the Transformers.
Check out skinomi, they are the only one that I know has screen protector with the "dock area" cut out. They even have full body skin for both the dock and tablet.
I have been using their skin for my prime for a while, and very satisfied.
GD luck.
I have a screen protecttor but hade to cut the bottom of it off because it doesnt fit in the dock. It has gorilla glass so it should be covered under warranty unless you unlocked it like me. But mine does not scratch the screen maybe a bad dock too.
Is it really worth getting a screen protecter with a cut out bottom...wouldn't that look weird. I might just return the dock and get my money back. I don't use it beside for battery and typing. Asus transformer prime has great battery without it and i am not in college yet so won't be needing the dock for a while. I might just buy the dock later when i go,to,college it might be cheaper too. i making a good choice?
Press thx if I helped!
Sent from my LG Thrill 4G on Cm7 Nightlies with ICS theme!
The cut out doesn't go up that high so it wouldn't be on the screen its self, and you will get used to it and not even notice it. Also the question for the dock is how long until school and will you have the money when you start school?
Someone else actually created a thread about this and it was addressed that if you use some sort of tape over where the dock hinges would sit, it prevents the "scathing". Search these forums for ghost armor and you should see the DIY fix.
Alternative Fix
Here's an alternative to the cut out.
I saw this in one thread and created another one just for it.
Inside the dock is pad on both sides, that rubs against the protector causing problems. If you don't want to cut out your screen protector you can remove this pad with tweezers and clean the adhesive with alcohol.
Whats actually happening, at least with mine, is the screen protector pushes the pad in a little and the protector is then rubbing against the exposure adhesive.
I have Invisi-shield.
The result is an indention of the outer part of the dock, but it stops screwing up the protector beyond that. It's easy, it's free and it doesn't require precision cutting. Just sayin'

PU Leather Smart Flip Folding Protective Case Cover

PU Leather Smart Flip Folding Protective Case Cover For Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2" SM-P900 Tablets
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251584282923&alt=web - 1.99GDP
Not long after I got my Note I needed to protect it so I went for a cheap option until I could find something more permanent. I ordered the flip case from ebay and it got to me quickly. It came with a pen! This pen could write on real paper and then you could turn it round and use the soft tip to write on screens, though it's not as accurate as the S-Pen.
I put noy Note 12.2 in the case and it was a very tight fit. I ended up turning the tablet off as I was pressing on and off and the volume buttons accidently.
I switched it back on and for some reason (I think it's because the holes that exposed the volume and power buttons were odd sizes) my tablet would flash on and off occasionally. I took it back out that evening and put the case aside. I'm not going to bother sending it back as it was only 1.99GDP and the postage would have been more.
PROS: Cheap, will protect your tablet.
CONS: Probably won't last very long with normal, everyday use, very tight fit.

Best case for ROG 3- Cant find any good CASES. Which one are you using?

I cant find a good case for ROG 3 on flipkart of Amazon. Which case are you guys using? where did you buy it from??
I am using Lighting Armor case as I need to use the air trigger. If you do not care for the function of air triggers (dual & slide), can get IMAK case from aliexpress.
I'm also using the lighting armour , I like it ok it drains power but I still like it
I am using the average tpu case that is available for rog 3, i had to make cut out for the side mounted type c ports though
I'm using this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001345047036.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.5d6e4c4d4DwYCq
It's not perfect, but provides enough all around protection, the cutouts are in place.
The included tempered glass screen protector is of good quality, but the black border covers a few pixels on the sides.
It's pretty cheap, I can recommend buying it to protect your ROG Phone 3 - as I said, it's not perfect, but good enough.
Using this one with a tempered glass in the front and a silicon film in the back
I have ordered this IMAK transparent black TPU case with extra corner shock-proofing along with these IMAK clear soft hydrogel films for front & back protection.
Hopefully shipment arriving to me by early next month.
Used to use the lighting armor case until the slippery uncovered aluminium side caused me to drop the phone yesterday, now the phone has a dent on the top right corner of the frame. Lighting armor has the best look of all the cases out there. Now using Zshow case which should prevent it from hitting the screen flat down if I ever drop it again. I'm lucky the phone didn't fall face down with the lighting armor case which would have guaranteed a cracked screen.
I have the imak tpu case too but it cause the tempered glass to lift.
Besides the tempered glass being lifted issue, what's your experience/ feedback regarding your IMAK TPU case (is it with extra corner protection)?
Imak case is quite loose around the air triggers, power button, volume button and side port. Top 4 corner airbags are the problems as they can be depressed quite easily and this cause the screen protector to lift up. You will know when you hold the phone on your right hand with your palm resting with the bottom right corner for support, and this can cause the screen protector to lift.
I'm getting the hydrogel film screen protectors - Hoping that screen lift is not an issue.....
What's your experience or opinion regarding the general damage/ drop protection with this case?
Quality, overall fitting & feel?
It will protect if dropping on the corners as well as face down. However dropping on the back might be a problem because the camera lens are protuting out (although the case cover the camera lens). Placing the phone on the table will also result in wobbly phone when using.

Quality, would say it is better than those generic cheap tpu case (which has worse fit than imak), feel wise, it is slippery on the back.
I just received this: Foluu ROG Phone 3 Case through Amazon. £6.71. To hold it without the phone it doesn't feel great and whilst over the standard case it comes with its bulkier I feel so much safer knowing my camera wont get scratched when I put the phone down. It also raises of the front screen by a minuet amount so there is a bump as you move your finger about. I'd rather that than a nasty scratch though so happy with it.
Air trigger holes and extra power connector cut out too as well as on the back a nice design

It covers the side? The picture on amazon looks like it is an open side design. I don't see slapping that case will provide a good grip.

I am using Asus Original Screen Protector without antibacterial coating. The antibacterial protector is not available in my country. Great protector, no blocking of edge unlike the cheap china protector which has thick black borders and block the edges of the display.

Thanks for this, I did think about getting this over.
I'm using the magnetic flip case which is great, but no front lip so don't drop the thing like I did, broke my display as the screen protector didn't quite cover all of it and a tiny stone hit the outer edge.
Not the end though as I've bought another, and will get it repaired under insurance consider it a lesson learned.

This was with the rog case which in all honesty shouldn't come with it.
This is the protector, don't bother with it, I've another coming that has smooth edges, looks decent so will see.
Turns out the one I've ordered might be the same Asus sells.

FEEDBACK
Took about 5 weeks to arrive (from China).
This IMAK case is good build quality and fit over all, could have been a bit more snug - the extra corner padding does not make it look slick, and I am not sure if it is worth it on balance.
There is a 2 mm lip all around the front panel to help with screen protection.
Cut-outs are spot on - including for air-triggers/ 3 mics/ heat vent/ side USB ports. No cut-out for SIM-tray though but it's better this way.
Camera module is fairly well protected.
No issues with air-trigger related squeeze gestures.
The Hydrogel clear gel screen protector had a ?extra notch cut-out just left of the front camera (?? why) but otherwise the rest of the dimensions were spot on. It came as a set of x2 in one pack, which was a nice surprise. Included a helpful set of instructions/ link to video.
I preferred it to be short by about 1 mm all around the edges to minimise the risk of "lift" when the case is compressed in pockets/ when using the squeeze gestures etc.
The touch feel is smooth and has a good response. Visibility through this screen film is fine; no glare issues. I prefer these type of gel screen protectors to glass.
Has anyone come across a case that doesn't need to be removed when connecting to the accessories (eg Twinview, Mobile Desktop Dock)?
