[Q] crackle noise in the speaker - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi people, I have got a problem and will be thankful if you help me. The phone speaker works fine but I can hear a little crackle noise when the volume is high in high frequency sounds. For example it can be heard when the mother nature ringtone is playing in high volume. It sounds like a resonance in the speaker. In some reviews there have been arguments about the speaker quality of s3, wanna know if it happens to you too. Thanks

Any help?plz

Does it have a Stereo Mic?

Does the S2 have a stereo mic, and does anyone know how well it handles loud music when video recording.
I currently have the HD2 and have always been impressed with how the mic handles very loud music, no distortion, and good bass on playback through av amp. I have no idea if the HD2 mic is stereo though.
According the Phonearena review it does (not final hardware mind you).

There was one review (can't remember it though sorry, so I can not link you to it) that clearly said the Mic sensitivity on the SGSII was much improved over the SGS.
Recording at concerts or parties was greatly improved in the sound recorded.
Any update on this? Anyone with an SGS2 who can shed some light on the sound during video recording? How well does it really handle loud environments?

[Q] Galaxy S3 Loudspeaker distortion when on maximum volume

Hey guys,
I’ve just bought myself a white GSIII and has recently noticed that if I play sounds from any source (YouTube, Videos Player, Music Player, ringtone) etc, on near maximum volume, the sound on the loudspeaker becomes a bit distorted/ muffled. It plays fine on low volumes. I wonder if it was the way the metal plate grill on the loudspeaker was designed; how it has a lot of small holes on it and perhaps these limit the amount of noise coming out from it.
Does any of you guys experience a similar issue?
Thanks in advance.

Headphone Static

Anyone have white noise when using headphones? I hear it when using an in-ear type of noise isolating ear buds, and only hear it when the audio is active (ie whenever the table is making a sound like adjusting volume, keyboard touch sounds), but otherwise is dead quiet. I can also hear it over quiet music, but otherwise I guess the music covers it up.
Quick update. Tried with a different pair of headphones. Definitely better. I am sure the white noise is there, but I can't hear it with this pair of headphones.
Haven't notice this with, say, the nexus 5.
Yeah, I'm having the same issue with any low impedance headphones. When listening to silent music or videos I can nearly not hear it over the noise. On every action I make the headphones are activated and I instantly hear the white noise.
Also the volume for the headphones is pretty high (levels 1-3 are bearable but above it's too loud, and level 1 is too loud when in a silent environment). I don't know if it's a software issue, but it's definitely making using headphones horrible.
Tried this with Apple EarPods and Sennheiser In-Ear headphones. It's better with open headphones but unbearable with in-ear.

Yes i am getting a lot of noise with in-ear headphones too.
I guess for now only high impedance headphones will be silent.
I also get this on my Bluetooth headphones. Same thing on my Nexus 7.

Camera sound quality

I visit a lot of electronic music festivals, and every time I make a video I hear almost only cracking because of the loud bass. Does anyone have an idea if this can be fixed software wise?
The speaker on Honor 7 doesn't house a subwoofer, so it is possible that you just will hear cracking sound whenever there is bass.

Phone Speaker is crackly and tingy

Anyone else find that the speaker on the Moto Z to be awful at loud volumes? Mine is tingy, muffled and just distorted at high volumes. Even when talking on the phone.

Mine is okay. It certainly isn't great at load volumes, but I guess that's to be expected by a combined ear piece/mono speaker. It isn't worse than my OPO for sure. The sound isn't distorted on high volumes tho, it just sounds a bit worse than on lower volumes
Mine also has the cracking sound a few months after I purchased my phone.
What I did was to CLEAN the speaker with a cloth (something that can get inside the mouth, a bit damp).
My speaker was covered with DUST and this caused the cracking sound.
After thoroughly cleaning it, my phone sounds better now (the crackling noise was ALMOST gone).
