AOSP JB for TF201 - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

MOD EDIT: THIS IS A COMPLETE KANG FROM SOMEONE ELSE WITHOUT REAL CREDIT GIVEN TO THOSE WHO ARE WORKING ON THIS. TYPING MAKE DOTH NOT A REAL ROM MAKE. IT DOESN'T WORK BECAUSE YOU AREN'T ABLE TO FIX IT BECAUSE IT'S NOT YOUR WORK. THIS IS ANDROIDROOT'S WORK.

I just compiled AOSP Jellybean for the TF201 using this device tree that was made for CM10.
Haven't looked at everything, but Wifi, touch, sound(partially), and rotation works.
REMOVED LINK is the zip. Be sure to wipe data.
REMOVED LINK is a JB GApps package.
This post will be updated with a CM10 build once I compile it, and it should work better than the AOSP build.

Speaking of which, the download says it requires a username and password.
This is awesome though, are you running it right now?

:\ Shouldn't need a user/pass to download. I'll look into that. Things needed for daily use, IMO, are broken right now like camera, and it freezes a lot.

No. That was just generated when the otapackage was made. There is no recovery included.

Have boot loop.. With gaps installed through cwm.. Try it without gaps... brb

I have no idea why anyone is bootlooping. I adb pushed the update and gapps, wiped data, flashed in TWRP 2.2, and rebooted. CM build has an error when applying permissions to a file during flash, currently flashing imgs via fastboot to see if they work anyway.
EDIT: CM build has no CM stuff included, and is just as bad. :\ Going to dig around and see if there is anything commented that could help.
EDIT2: Doh. Built full_tf201 and not cm_tf201. 6 hours wasted.

got this up and running not sure if it's dauly driver material but i'm gonna use it to mess around with jelly bean for a while. thanks a lot for this!

How long is a CM build going to take on your hardware? Trying to decide whether to try the AOSP build or wait for CM.

it works fine for me only issues are there are 2 camera and gallery apps and it is a bit stuttery at times and camera FCs but so far its very nice

oh and something missing also is root does anyone have a zip to flash to get superuser and such?

good to see such an early build for our prime! kudos for developer!
still early but as far as i have tested everything works.
gonna use this as DD when i get root access
some good things:
- smooth expierience (!)
- i didnt notice lag and lockups while installing apps (!)
- apps start way faster than on ics (!)
- benchmarks:
sqlite performance increase of ~100% (!)
androbench does not report better I/O performance (i think we need new asus kernel for this)
antutu; 9385 ( seems to run @ 1.3 ghz )
needs work:
- After flashing i got brick 1a (see unbrick thread) - CWM
- no root
- no file explorer (can be handy for installing titanium after flashing)
- screen flicker (noticed this in settings menu)
- it takes a long time for wifi to get enabled
