DISCLAIMERS:
Instructions for installation:
Download firmware file, and install via HBOOT or fastboot. This will update your HBOOT (2.10) your radio (1.13.11.1105), and some other important firmware bits. Make sure you remove or rename any PJ75IMG files from your external SD card after this step.
Download recovery file (TWRP 2.6.3.1b) and flash via fastboot. This version of TWRP has been modified to accommodate the updated partition layout for this update.
Download ROM (either version), and flash via TWRP. If the TWRP gives an error and reboots, hold the volume down button to get back to the bootloader, boot back into recovery, and flash again. It *should* flash fine on the second attempt.

So I pulled the feature list directly from the lead developer's thread with the assumption that he had kept up the feature list...appears he doesnt keep his thread up.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091900
So I will edit out all the features from the OP and instead just put a link to the kitkat changelog.

Copy that, but I don't see why DPI settings aren't working. Xposed is there, as well as app settings, so it should work.
I installed and enabled, then rebooted.
I'll keep trying.

I did that. I've used Xposed in almost every ROM I've installed. I'm familiar with it.
Attached pictures, and I've granted SU permissions and rebooted twice.

I did not test dpi, I set an app to "landscape only" and that worked after enabling in the modules.

I flashed the Full Modular GAPPS from the 0-day PA so my messaging app didnt look any different. I was able to attach a picture and send without issue.
Edit: so, I wiped flashed Just this rom and the PA Gapps, and sure enough force close...google is clearly forcing us to use hangouts...but in all seriousness it seems to be affecting CM nightly as well
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50141180&postcount=1184
So, I will recompile and post to OP as soon as CM has the code cleaned up with a fresh build. Sorry for the trouble.

Ok cool cause I was having the same issues with decks irc build with the messaging app ill try this out once you get it fixed

I noticed that the Gallery behaves weirdly when it encounters an empty album (from Picasa). It hides the empty albums but still occupy the space in the grid, sometimes it stops other albums from loading and makes it impossible to go into those albums.
All is ok after deleting the empty albums through Picasa Web Albums.
been running cm_passion-07122010-001202.zip for 10 hours, all wiped, no major problems here.
Nice Nice.. I'll be giving this a go..

With all of the nightly's and RC1, it takes FOREVER for widgets to load and for SU to grant root permissions to many if not all apps.
Very nice to see this thread as I have been running nightlys for several days.
The latest seems to be the best (122010), very fast, great carrier signal reception. So far I haven't had any fc's. Not a single issue so far. Good job on this one.
Ditto on the SU permissions problem.
Other than that, great battery life, speed and oh my how I missed all of the Cyan goodies when I defected to try another Froyo build.
Thank you Cyanogen and all of the other devs involved in this project!
can i just do a thrid [dammit im 7th] poster thingy ... gonna give it a try !!
Oh, I only did a wipe when I first went from 5.8 to the alpha 1, after that I haven't had to do a wipe.
I am having trouble running Metamorph with this version of CM. It is saying that I either do not have a SDCard in the phone or that there is not enough space. This message appears right after Metamorph is opened. Tried wiping it and even verified that I have over 60mb of space on the phone (metamorph says it needs at least 20mb). Can anyone verify this error? I know there are those who have installed blackbar morph successfully so any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Netlocation has been a pain in my arse ever since Alpha 1, will post a log when I get back to my computer. It will only find my location over wifi, not network.

Anyway, I filed a bug report when I was still on RC-1 about the SU set on boot things, and I starred a report about exchange.
I'm not getting root access anymore, even when manually opening apps (10min after boot). Rebooting doesn't solve it. Are more people having this issue, if so is there a fix for at least getting manual root access after losing it?
EDIT: nvm, got it after 15min of waiting.

Technically you were third, you could start your own topic and be first poster, although I fail to see why this is entertaining.
Most of the nightlies seem to be pretty stable, I'm running the current one and all seems to be ok. Cross-flashing from MCR breaks things horribly but that's not all that surprising. There's still a fair bit to be added in by the looks of things but most of it seems to be pretty stable. Just make sure to keep a couple of generations of Nandroid backups as one of the builds a couple of nights ago broke a few things fairly badly and I had to revert.

Flashing instructions are described in the website, but here is the summary, flash in the following order
1) Device.zip
2) slim gapps ( from downloads/addons)
3) any other addons ( from downloads/addons)
Note: this has the mem fix and the latest blobs from cm10/espen. don't flash another kernel. this has Cm10 kernel compiled from source and fluxxi recovery i am fond of.
Edit 1: on 2.6, for GPS fix.
go to Settings, ota, 2.6 fixes, you should see a GPS fix, d/l it and it should auto reboot to recovery. Flash the file from /sdcard/updateme/cm_fluxi_note.zip. GPS should work. Chas tested it and seems to work for him. I was missing an init.gps.rc in ramdisk.
FAQ
Q: I'm currently running xyz kernel. Can I flash this Rom safely?
A: Go here to find out.
_________________________________________
Q: How do I flash this?
A: This is how.
_________________________________________
Q: After flashing the Rom and Gapps I get bootloop / after changing the DPI I get bootlop?
A: Just press and hold power button. After a reboot or two you'll get to homescreen, no reason to worry.
_________________________________________
Q: Recovery aborts flashing Rom or Gapps or kernel and displays error code "status 7"?
A: You most probably have a bad download. Redownload Rom/Gapps/kernel, check MD5 and try again.
_________________________________________
Q: Flash went through OK, but now I can't sync calendar/contacts/Gmail, there's no option to setup my
Google account, Playstore won't start, where is my Picassa...?
A: You either forgot to flash Gapps, or had a bad Gapps zip (if you had flashed it).
_________________________________________
Q: Playstore says I have no apps, and I purchased them ages ago, or claims that my apps are incompatible
with the Note...?
A: Go here to find the solution to your problems.
_________________________________________
Q: Can I flash some other kernel on this Rom?
A: You can, but if something goes wrong don't post your problems here. Go to the kernel thread instead.
_________________________________________
Q: A system app keeps FCing. What can I do?
A: Go to Settings/apps and clear the app's cache and data, reboot. If that doesn't help, try to dirty reflash the Rom (just wipe cache and dalvik).
_________________________________________
Q: How do I change my DPI?
A: 1) Go to Settings/Developer options/LCD Density, set DPI you prefer and reboot. Or
2) download Rom Toolbox from Playstore, tap build.prop editor, find ro.sf.lcd.density and enter
the value you want. Reboot. Or
3) edit build.prop manually, reboot.
4) DO NOT USE ANY OTHER DPI CHANGING APPS BECAUSE YOUR ROM WILL NOT BOOT.
Note's default DPI is 320; you can go as low as 160 to get more screen real estate. Any DPI between 178
and 320 will leave you in phone mode (status/navigation bar at the top of the screen, no softkeys);
between 160 and 177 you are in tablet mode (softkeys, status/navigation bar at the bottom).
_________________________________________
Q: I have a battery drain, help!
A: Do not post about it in this thread - it is not Rom related. Download and install BetterBatteryStats and go here
for instructions and help.
_________________________________________
Q: Do I need to flash Gapps every time there's a Slim Bean Rom update?
A: No. Here's why.
Code:
Backup tool incorporated, Read Carefully -> Huge Thanks to gmillz
( only guaranteed to work on our gapps and addons,
if you flash another gapps etc you are on your own), similar to CM. for 2.7, MUST RE-DOWNLOAD
slim_gapps and all addons you use. When 2.7 is released, do the following
Flash Device 2.7.0.zip, then flash the NEW slim_gapps and any other addon you use/want.
From the next release on, wipe cache/dalvik cache, Just flash device zip, rest should remain intact.
NOTE: If you for a format /system in recovery, you will lose all backups and have to reflash all
addons again.
_________________________________________
Q: Where are S-pen gestures and S-apps?
A: They require TouchWiz framework to work, so you will not find them here. There are alternatives to
S-apps in Playstore, but S-gestures can be found only in TW-based Roms.

You cannot use any kernel besides the one included in the Rom for now; it's the same situation as with the latest CM10 nightly and mali merges.

I'm afraid not. There is Additional Language Fonts zip at unsupported addons at http://slimroms.net/ , but the description of the file states "for text only, not system language".
It appears that the only supported languages for now are English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

Awesome port and great work! The only "bug" I'm experiencing is Google Voice force closes before you can get into the app to do anything. I tried a full wipe fresh install with and without "tweaked buildprop" but that didn't seem to have any affect. Anything else I can do to help test?
Edit:
1. Using version 3.1.11
2. Came from your most recent CNA build for Photon on first full wipe; obviously 2nd full wipe was MIUI to MIUI. This was a true nuke 'n pave with me blowing away my sdcard contents as well.
3. I have not restored any data unless you count installing about 15 apps from the play store.
4. Google Voice force closes no matter what I try (post setup). It launched and let me set up, after that constant FC's.

Try going into settings and turn off hot word detection. Then it should work every time
3.2.1 is UP. I re-did the Aroma installer on this one, so it should look a bit different. Let me know what you all think
When I click the download link it says it is version 3.1.25, where is 3.2.1?
My bad, I'm retarded... Found it
so I followed all of the directions (they are different on your OP than on your site itself - tried both) and when the phone boots up I have no Mobile Network. I selected Sprint CDMA (since that is what I have). Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I'm trying to install the latest build.

Congrats on being the first! Now let's get this thing official
Sweet. Cant wait to try this out.
Score! Flashing now I'll let you know if there's any issues other than what's stated.

Sweet! I spent part of my weekend trying to figure out how to build this. I'll flash and report back!
I am stuck on the HTC screen after update. Any ideas?
I am using CWM recovery. I wiped data/factory reset, formatted system, installed update, installed gapps, wiped cache then davilk.

You're probably S-On and didn't flash the boot.img. I would recommend extracting the boot.img from the ROM zip and flashing in fastboot using the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
*S-ON instructions added to OP.*
I've had a couple issues with some random reboots tonight, but I think it was my own stupid fault for letting TiBu overwrite my gapps. DOH!
And uh-oh! Look who scored a 2nd rezound!
Yay paranoid android!!! Been running the rom for awhile now and its been great. Thanks kkozma

Sadly, looks like PA team is dropping a lot of devices to have their core team work more on the ROM. It will be better in the long run, as unofficial ports always seem to be better than official ones.

Why did I have to see this post. Time for a backup and flash!
Just installed this rom to play around with since I've always wanted to tryout some of the PA's awesome features without going to a PAC style ROM. Many are they cool but I'm sorry to say this that I can't use this ROM as a daily yet. Its a bit too laggy for me when navigating (graphics are fine), keyboard keeps crashing like crazy, the capactive touch buttons take a few moments to get me back to the hoem screen. Its still awesome that you were able to build it for our phone and I will keep monitoring this thread for when it becomes more stable.

I've not had any issues with the keyboard at all.
As for the home buttons, you need to disable pie or move the pie target (pie gravity in settings) away from the bottom of the screen, it really gets in the way of navigation on the bottom of the screen. I'll see if in my next build I can move it to the left side of the screen by default.
what theme is that?

No not really what I meant, accessing the PIE controls worked just fine. It was when I selected the home button in the PIE controls that it took a while for the phone to navigate to the home screen. Samething happened when I would touch the home capacitive button. It would take a while to process that I wanted to go to my home screen.

Disable HALO (If it's present). World's difference in available memory. Should feel a lot faster.
Also, use Google Keyboard from the playstore instead of the native. It's faster (imo)

Thanks for the help. That worked. Now my question is if anyone had had trouble with Google maps not working properly?

Google maps have been an issue for me since they redesigned it. Jittery, display glitches, frozen patches that should be redrawn... I know quite a few that refuse to update it at this point.
Nightly build started! Unfortunately it takes my build box ~3 hours to build, hopefully not for much longer! Payday is Monday, my wife got a new job, and microcenter is 5 minutes from my office! Lol
I'll try to get it uploaded tonight, but make no promises. At the latest, it'll be tomorrow around 7am.

That is rather strange. I have a Nexus 5, so I will look into this issue immediately. I apologize for this issue you have encountered.

I just tested Dirty Unicorn's Weekly 9.6 on my Nexus 5. I didn't experience any bootloop. Is you signature still current about you using version 9.5 or are you currently using another version? I want to see if I can replicate this issue.
Edit:
Tested Weekly 9.6, Official 9.6, and Official 9.5 with no issues. All done with full wipes, re-installation of Xposed, and installation of module.

signature is outdated, I'm running weekly 9.6 (Aug 18th build i think). Had to boot into twrp and delete the app manually to get the phone to boot again
Excellent. Works with quick pic but can you make it work with stock samsung gallery app? Quickpic was sold to cm and dont want to use it now ?.

I can confirm this, phone was stuck at boot animation for nearly 20 mins then went to recovery and deleted apk and it booted fine, running AICP on Note 4, latest build.
I'm guessing this module doesn't work on Touchwiz ROMs either. I am using a TW 5.0.0 ROM and it bootloops when I enable this module too.
Doesn't work on my Oneplus running Blisspop 4.0 using Quickpik 4.5.2. The lock option doesn't appear inside the 3 dot menu.
Same as above but with the stock LG G3 rom.
Quickpic v4.5.2 doesn't shows the option to lock.
I apologize for the issues users are facing. I have set the module as experimental at the moment since individuals are reporting bootloops. I have tested four personal devices (Moto G, Nexus 5, Blaze 4G, and OPO) to have no issues. I am trying to nail down what may be causing issues for some, but sadly have been unable to reproduce the bootloops some are facing.
Nexus 5 latest Cataclysm. Bootloop. Does it matter if FIRST I started and configured the module (updated hooks) and THEN restart the device?
@iHelp101 Idk if I should call myself a idiot or whatever, but after failing on 1st attempt and reading your post that you tested it on 4 devices, I just out of curiosity thought to give it another try, this time reading the instructions properly. I realized that I updated hooks for Cyanogen gallery before (thinking the default gallery on my CM ROM would be Cyanogen gallery though it was Gallery3D upon checking my nick does tell that ) and maybe that caused me to stuck in a bootloop. This time tho I just installed the module and activated (read that hooks ain't required for Gallery3D n Quickpik so dint do anything other than activating) and it works like a charm now! :good: Thank you very much for this awesome module! :highfive::highfive:

Thank you for the positive message. I will try to reproduce these steps to see if the module causes a bootloop for me. If you are able to, once again updating your hooks for Cyanogen Gallery. Reboot and see if you get a boot loop again. If so I can nail it down to the way the hooks are stored (Via SharedPreferences).

I am trying to find the correlation currently. I apologize about this and promise I will find a resolution. If you are still in a bootloop use TWRP to delete the module located under /data/app/com.ihelp101.dontswipe.apk.
