[Q] How to set live wallpaper lockscreen when using JKAY 14.1 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
As the title suggests, how do I set a live wallpaper for my lockscreen when using the JKAY framework.
I have the APK and tried searching through it, but couldn't find anything.
Is there something I am missing?
General Info:
I am using my own modified XXLPG.
It is De-odexed.
Thanks for the help!
Also, if this question has been answered before, please excuse my ignorance, since I've search high and low through this forum but couldn't find an answer.

In jkay deluxe app -> lockscreen settings -> lockscreen options -> untick show wallpaper
now whatever u will set in your homescreen, you will get in lockscreen too...so set your desired live wallpaper...

Can't believe I missed that.. Thanks alot.

I can see that.
However if I click on a picture and use it to set as lockscreen, ticking show wallpaper will have that picture on lockscreen and my desktop live wallpaper will be different.
Now I'm trying to achieve this with another livewallpaper instead of the photograph. So the effect is one livewallpaper on lockscreen and diferent LW on desktop. Is this achievable?
Secondly I unticked show clock on lockscreen and it still shows. Why?

That means that when you are on the lock screen, the clock in your status bar won't be shown. Not the bigger clock.

Ok.
Is there a way to have the ICS deluxe lockscreen look like this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.sonica.wallpaper.clock&hl=en_GB
Other way than setting this LW as my desktop wallpaper.

Hi,
This is achievable by upgrading to one of the 4.0.4 Roms, however you will be losing the JKay framework since it isn't yet compatible with them.

launcher pro not supporting transparent notification bar?

hi there!
sorry if this was discussed before, don't find something...
I made a transparent notification bar with UOT.
so, when I turn my phone on lockscreen, its transparent, unlocked its not transparent. when I open a app, its transparent too.
so I think, launcher pro have on the homescreen a "own" notification bar. on lockscreen and on apps it takes the sense bar.
I tried go launcher, same there.
any ideas?
running high rom 3D, 2.3.4, HTC evo 3D.
thanks for any help!!

Its not the launcher that supports transparency. Its your rom. U gotta decompile, recompile your systemui after you've edited the smali inside.
U can find a lot of threads regarding this in the themes section.

No, he means he has a transparent themed rom already but Launcher Pro makes the status bar solid.(Transparency works fine in other launchers)
I have the same problem, it's a known issue in LP. I was looking for some info on it when I came across this thread.
So far, the live wallpaper fix mentioned above is all I can find as far as a workaround, but there's got to be some kind of fix other than that, right?

My Rez is stock, but I am talking about the Sense lock screen.
Apologies for responding to your post, but it wasn't clear to me that you were looking to adjust the Android native lock screen. I didn't see that you wanted to make it transparent when I first read your post.

LockScreen App for Samsung Galaxy Y

After trying so many apps I found those apps which are best replacement for Samsung Galaxy Y built-in boring lockscreen.
The main thing is that some of them on Google PlayStore says that it is not supported by Galaxy Y, but I don't know why!
For example "Go Locker", Android Google PlayStore says it is not compatible, but I have tried it and works great.
I have also tried "MiLocker", its themes are not supported by our resolution.
Though you can use it by LDPI themes.
Now my question is if the "MiLocker" says supported why not "Go Locker"!
Anyway, the lockscreens those are working with Galaxy Y are as follows:
1. WidgetLocker Lockscreen (Recommended) (Paid)
2. GO Locker (Free)
3. Holo Locker (Free)
4. MagicLocker Main (Free)
5. MiLocker (For LDPI themes visit here.) (Free)
If you find your stock ROM lockscreen appearing/interfering your lockscreen apps then install "No Lock" app from Google PlayStore via following link.
No Lock Google PlayStore Link.
From this little app you can Disable Stock ROM LockScreen.
That is all I could find. If you think I missed something, feel free to comment here!

I dont have that problem.. I am using Go Locker for the lockscreen and Go Launcher Ex for the launcher. They're both stable and i prefer using it instead of the boring touchwiz UI..

I prefer inbuilt pattern lock as Go Locker doesn't seems to be convenient
will try WidgetLocker Lockscreen as recommended in first post may be that can be my replacement for pattern lock

You can always Enable Notification bar by Uncheck (Disable) these:
"Disable Notification bar" option in "Buttons & Inputs" setting and "Hide Notification Bar" option in "Look & Feel" Setting.

If you are want to be secured then use built in pattern lock.
Or If you want to control your fav apps like music player, facebook, weather etc from lockscreen then use Widgetlocker or you can customize as you wish. A nice Clock and weather widget on lockscreen looks great if you ask me.
Or If you want to be Secured and as well as want a lockscreen as per your customized way then use Widgetlocker and Pattern Lock both! as they could be used at a same time..
Hope this post help you guys.
widget locker need licensing code, if not you cannot use that.
because that i cannot use widget locker T-T

You can use MiLocker.
I think it is most lightweight than others, I never compare the RAM usages though!
But you must install LDPI themes (which are small in number but various in design) for that. Take a look at my first post for link.

widget locker's notification is based on ADWNotifier so you have to install that before you could have notifications on your widget locker... with the popup on the default stock messaging app, it does not support popup
can anyone send me a link for the golocker app please?
My backup.
Is there any way to freeze/ uninstall the stock lock screen app ? It always interferes with my locker. If yes, do tell me the stock lock app. Thanks.

Two Little Things

1 - Any way to remove the vibration notification? I like to have vibrate on all the time, but I'd like to remove that icon.
2 - How do you set a full wallpaper? Even the ones Samsung gives you can only be snipped. I'm currently on Go Launcher, and those wallpapers are full sized. Anyone know how to make all images full size?
Thanks in advance.
you have to have the proper resolution for the wallpaper the samsung ones wont strech because of it.

I don't think I'd want to do that. I just want to get rid of unneeded, persistent icons. Especially since so many apps stick things in there just to prevent from closing.

Exactly! I also just installed the awesome Badass Battery Monitor * and am really interested in a solution for hiding unneeded notification icons. I can't believe this doesn't exist.
* - "awesome" is my opinion, "Badass" is actually part of the app's name

Errrrrrr sorry I couldn't resist my question when I saw notification question.

Not possible unless you get a third party launcher like Nova or Apex launcher. Or you root the tablet

Just install a third-party launcher. Those will not only allow you to disable scrolling, but will allow you to delete home screen pages and give you plenty of options that the stock launcher doesn't.
There is a Q&A forum for questions like these. You can use the search bar at the top of the forum to see if someone else has asked your question and find the solution there before you make a post. If you can't find the answer, then go ahead and post a new thread.
