[ROM][WIP][PREVIEW] CyanogenMod 10.0 Preview! [Updated 18-08-2012 - NIGHTLIES] - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

UPDATE 18-08-2012:
Nightlies have started showing up These are slightly more official than this one, but still based on our code!
Get them at http://get.cm/
So, it’s been over a week since JellyBean source dropped and we figured it was time for some fun news!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
As I’m sure everyone knows, CM10 has been progressing at blazing speeds and we (on the AndroidRoot) team felt that it was time to show it off on transformers
It’s still early and CM10 has a good way to go, but it’s certainly usable! Note that this tree is what will become the official CM10 for Transformer Prime.
What works:
Wifi
Bluetooth
Sound
Camera (Photos + recording + panorama)
Video Acceleration (720p youtube ftw!)
Basic dock functionality (keyboard works -- second battery doesn’t show up)
3D Games
Sensors
What doesn’t work:
GPS
All credit goes to AndroidRoot team and CyanogenMod! We are the official maintainers of this device, so it can be considered a preview of what will later become official CM10 for the device.
More information and downloads at http://androidroot.mobi/?p=466
Edit: We've been asked to include download links so here goes: http://developer.clockworkmod.com/downloads/10504/3206/cm-10-20120718-UNOFFICIAL-tf201.zip
Source at github.com/AndroidRoot
As usual, any donations people wish to give should go to AndroidRoot team: http://androidroot.mobi/donations/ and not directly to me! We do not expect donations, but we appreciate all.

we will probably need some mirrors but here is a link to JB gaaps

CANNOT wait till i get home and flash this.

Running it now. It is running well and here are my observations.
On screen keyboard appears even though it is docked
It is running o nthe 2.6.39.4 kernel
As was stated, it does not recognize the dock battery, but it does list the processes under the battery tab.
Google search is running well, questions work most of the time, but sometimes it cuts of words at the beginning or end.
Keyboard buttons on top are not working (exception- volume, web)
No "dismiss all notifications". Was this a JB change or are we just missing it from CM right now?
As with CM9, when you close the docked tablet, you must press the power button to turn the lcd off.
In progress...
But it is super quick! I am always dubious of claims of ROMs, kernels, and tweaks making systems faster and better, but this is different. Thanks to the AndroRoot team for all their efforts!

Finally, it is out. I will unlock my device for it.

It may sound like hyperbole, but it is like I got a new tablet. Opening the settings, scrolling between apps, etc feels like it is fully powered by all 5 cores. You just have to try it.

i can flash through twrp right?

cant wait. anyone know if google now works?

Thanks for the report.
It's not a bug that it's running 2.6.39.4. It's a common misconception that various android versions require specific kernel versions.

That's what I did. Works great! I am using the older version of TWRP, but the new one will work too.

Okay, maybe not bugs per se, but observations
When working with the CM nightlies, I remember someone released a 3.0 kernel which didn't work out so well, so if it works, great!
Thanks again!

Working great! "What's the weather right now?" It spoke and brought up the weather card like normal. "Do a barrel roll" also works!

Nope, for me neither the micro slot nor the SD card slot on the dock are recognized right now.

Can I flash through CWMR?

So far so good
ROM is really fast, though it could be due to its light weight, it runs really smooth when change throw apps and home screens. One thing there is no gapps installed or you tube. i used the gapps from the cm9 nightly that they provide on there website and you tube on the market place is saying its unavailable for my device so not sure. i installed with cwm it works, also update su as titanium back up would not work until i did that.

Although I haven't tried it with this rom, either recovery should be able to flash this, TWRP or CWM.
Okay, so the voice recognition is a mixed bag. Sometimes it gets my question dead on, others, it may cut off half way through my question or pick up part of it. This is the first time I have used the mic on my tablet, so I am not sure whether it might be hardware or software.

Check the second post for JB GAPPS. It includes Youtube and the Play Store. I have loaded all my normal apps on there with titanium and I am seeing no change in speed so far.

thanks i missed that post, for speed wise i say its snappier is the better word instead of saying really fast to me its more responsive how things transition from one thing to the other.

[ROM][VIEW][GB] DeSensed-View GB Edition- V1 - 4/24/2012 (NO longer supported)

You must already be on GB and have recovery installed. If you are on HC you must follow the directions in the forum on how to downgrade to GB
Use kevinrocksman's awesome tool to get to HC from GB(or downgrade from HC to GB, and many other convenient tools). He makes it easy for you
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1418258
This is a preview release of my DeSensed-View rom. This is WIP and this is the first preview release
Features:
Based off the Stock GB rom for the View
Lovethyevo's custom OC kernel. Thread found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1401112
deodexed
rooted
busybox
zipaligned
init.d support
ADW Launcher
Stock GB Bootanimation
Stock Calculator
Stock GB Browser
Stock GB Email App
A lot of the sense/htc apps and launcher removed
sprint bloat removed
Stock GB KB
Advanced power menus
Stock GB style status bar and icons
Stock GB lockscreen
maybe some other stuff I'm forgetting... lol
system rw at boot
phone.apk, telephony and hands free activation removed (radios disabled) I will released a 3g/4g enabler soon
Issues
You tell me.. test and let me know what's jacked up
When going through setup wizard and trying to select time zone it will FC. This is because the radios are disabled and it uses them to auto set your time zone. Just keep pressing next through set up and once it's finished you can go into settings and change it.
Maps might force close once or twice until you set up wifi
I have included the KB from CM7 but the keys are pretty small so I also included the GB KB,, the keys are small as well but you can make them bigger in settings
I am not responsible if you flash this and you brick your ****
DO NOT FLASH IF YOU ARE ON HONEYCOMB.. Follow the threads in the forum to learn how to downgrade to GB and get/keep s-off
Download Link: v 1
WIFI ONLY: http://goo.im/devs/graffixnyc/HTC_Evo_View/DeSensedViewGBv1.zip

mirror: http://d-h.st/1vm
Installation Instructions:
DO A BACK UP!
If coming from another ROM perform a FULL wipe in clockwork recovery: mounts and storage -> format /system format /data format /cache
If updating from a previous version of this rom just wipe the caches unless told otherwise
Flash the rom zip

added live wallpaper picker back in
updated to google play store
got the AOSP calendar working
removed HTC calendar
removed a few other HTC apps that were left behind
moved flash player from being a system app to a user app
changed wifi scan to 180
I am not responsible if you flash this and you brick your ****
A few people have PM'ed me asking about donating. Well, I dont/wont ever ask for donations and honestly I prefer to NOT get donations. I do this work first and for most for me(Yeah I'm a selfish bastard) so I can learn more, so I can make my device the way I want my device, I just decide to share what I make for myself instead of keeping it for myself (I'm selfish, not greedy) and I feel if people start donating they might get more demanding and feel more entitled so I'd rather just skip all of that potential drama. When it comes to requesting things in this rom, I will put them in IF it's something I would use myself. If it's not, then I most likely wont add it. So please dont donate to me, If you want to do some good instead of donating to me, donate to a worthy charity instead! Thank you all for using my rom!
Awesome!

Well, as much as I hate having to go back to an older version, I don't like HC very much, so I will definitely try this ROM out.

So while I have the rom deodexing(it takes a while) I've been playing with the stock rom, deleteing crap and seeing what will break, also trying to add in some AOSP elements... that way when it is deodexing then I know exactly what I can remove and/or replace
removed a ****load of bloat and useless htc apps
rosie is gone, all the rosie widgets are gone, I have the free version of ADW, Stock GB browser and 3D Gallery all working, the stock calculator is working, GB KB included, The stock Calendar, contacts, camera or mms didnt work but I can try to tinker with them later
but the biggest one so far is I got rid of the Sense lock screen and have the stock GB one So much easier to do on GB than HC!
I might have a preview release up in a few hours
pretty cool man. but i think it would probably be pretty easy to actually build cm7 for the view. I believe the flyer has it going.

pretty easy if you know how to kernel dev without a kernel dev porting the flyer CM7 kernel over or creating a new one we wont get anything AOSP The View only has a couple devs and zero kernel devs which means we are up ****s creek without a paddle for the time being

I asked the guy who did the Flyer CM rom to throw us Viewers a bone and port his Flyer version to the View. He said he might make it a weekend project but not promising anything.
If interested run over to his thread and pm the dev (very nicely) that you heard a rumor he might consider doing a View port and you just wanted to support the idea.
Maybe a little future fan influence will motivate him

Also check out the Q & A thread. There is a Chinese GB RUU out that has full pen support for the Flyer. May be some goodies to grab there.

Posted a preview release.. let me know what issues you guys find..
I noticed the market wasnt updating to the Play Store.. I'll include the updated APK in the next release but until then you can just install this and it will overwrite the market with playstore. No need to push it, just install it like you would any side loaded apk
http://d-h.st/aQQ
Another issue I found was sometimes the unlock slider disappears when you wake the device (just the left one though) but if you swipe as if it was there it unlocks. I'll have to look into that

Sounds great I may hold off on testing until it's done. Just hard bricked my E4GT this morning and I'm a bit gun shy.
Never hard bricked a phone before. Accidentally flashed an AOSP ICS rom over an ICS kernel. Apparently this is huge no no. Complete blue light of death hard brick. Thank god for insurance.
Just installed. Testing now. I'll edit in problems as necessary.
First thing I noticed is that the Setup Wizard force closes if I try to change the time settings. I can change the time settings just fine through the regular settings, though.
The keyboard wouldn't pop up at first for whatever reason. A reboot fixed it, though.
In the settings, the right side of the check boxes are cut off.
Also, the mobile signal level icon still shows up, even though I downloaded the WiFi only ROM. I'm guessing this is just an issue with theming for now, though.

The first issue I mentioned in the OP. The keyboard popped up fine for me the first time. The check boxes I noticed and will look into. And the signal meter will always be there even if its just wifi. But you'll see its a empty signal. The only difference is hc puts a red x through it.

You don't have to be shy. I've been running it since last night and there are no huge major bugs that are show stoppers. Every rom has issues and is never perfect. But even though its a preview release its pretty stable except for the few mentioned small issues.

Agreed. So far, it's definitely smooth, and just has those minor issues. I think this will do just fine until we get ICS (though I'll go over to an AOSP GB ROM if we get one). I like it better than Honeycomb already, even if it is an older system.

demercie this thread is a good idea because alle the guys post on the unofficial builds threads when i have a news about the mayor fix of the nightly i post here thanks
I've been running the last of the UNofficial 10.1 nightlies, dated May 22. Other than no autorotation, it seems to run just fine. Once the Official nightlies started a few weeks ago, I jumped in and flashed a few, up to the 0629 nightly. In addition to the autorotation issue, suddenly my dock battery is not recognized, and I have (apparently already known) issues where both external SD cards are not recognized, on the device or in Windows. Checking the changelogs, I note that there have been HUGE changes/additions in the last few nights, so I figured I'd try the July 4 nightly. BIG effing mistake, UI crashes immediately, multiple error mesages, and I could barely get back to TWRP to restore my faithful 0522 Unofficial.
Thoughts on why the unofficial build works fine, but the "official" ones don"t? What could I be doing wrong?
Thx...

Did you wipe before installing? I know its CM to CM but like you said there have been lots of changes. If it still crashes then it's probably effed for the moment.

Sort of. I did do a number of cache wipes, but I admit I never did do a full wipe/ factory reset. I also note on other forums that the early July Nightlies are causing others some of the same crashes I saw, so I guess I'm not alone. We'll have to be patient
Aren't the Unofficial builds a port of the TF300 or TF700 builds? It would definitely account for the fact we're starting all over with features on the nightly builds as this would be a completely new tree starting from the ground up on inclusion of feature sets as the build comes together.
Been running the nightly for a few days now and it's been just fine for me. Of course, I did start off the entire 10.1 journey with a total wipe first.
BUILD cm-10.1-20130701-NIGHTLY-tf201
A couple obvious missing features to point out for those who may be just getting to this:
Auto-rotate not working
Dock/Keyboard battery not recognized
Function buttons on the keyboard not recognized (obviously)
Loading up the 0706 Nightly right now so I'll run through the motions later and give a more detailed outline of things I notice.
---------- Post added at 10:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:43 AM ----------
OK, cm-10.1-20130706-NIGHTLY-tf201 should be avoided.
When it comes up it immediately starts throwing System UI failures. Had to force power off and go into recovery mode in order to gain control.
Last known good for me was cm-10.1-20130701-NIGHTLY-tf201 so I rolled back to that from TWRP. Considering it's reported that this issue appears on the 0704 as well, I figured it was safest to go back that route for now.
I think I'll give it a few days before trying another build and just keep an eye on the builds to see if anything significant changes to resolve this.
For now, 20130701 is the most stable that I'm aware of. Perhaps someone else can chime in if they are running anything newer successfully.

Thanks for the confirmations. And yes, as you indicate, the Unofficials are built on the TF700. I did a complete wipe/reset etc and then tried the 0701 that seems to work fine, but I ran into the same problems. In addition to the three issues noted above, I continue to have no access to either of the external SD cards, which for me is a show-stopper. I'll have to stick with the 0522 Unofficial for a while, at least it's fully functional for me..

I've got nothing better to do than blow up my tab every few days so I'll keep posting up results when I do, lol.
The latest nightly has a force close on System UI. I even wiped EVERYTHING and did a clean install... Same thing. Going back one night, and things should be just fine!
Micro SD card isn't working yet, but this is just a nightly... I'm not worried about it.
HDMI out is working, so that's awesome!
Thanks for testing the unofficial editions. I think it will be better soon!
I m using the app "rotate" to make the table force rotate. It will be useful in the unofficial roms.

The SystemUI was on my nexus 4 too... and I experienced it on this so here is the commits they shared in the nexus4 thread to fix it... if it helps or if anyone reads these...
BTW I have no idea if these really are the culprit but thats what they gave us in the n4 thread
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/45076/
and possibly

although not sure about that one...

[ROM][Official] CyanogenMod 12.0 Nightlies for the Verizon Galaxy S4 (jfltevzw)

IMPORTANT INFO:
-You must be on the VRUAMDK bootloader or you aren't going to be able to use this ROM. I'm sorry =(
(run this in a terminal to find out: getprop ro.bootloader )
-We have de-unified the Galaxy S4 line. This is for the Verizon variant (SCH-I545) only
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0.x (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

We have de-unified the Galaxy S4 line. Too many issues with having them all in one and a maintainer's nightmare. Look for jfltevzw builds now as opposed to the jflte builds you previously used.

I didn't mean to thank you... Euroskanks builds have commits cherry picked that CM hasn't implemented yet because they're 'experimental' or 'beta'.

X2 on the yellowish tint. GPS lock works on dirty flash. I have had random issue with WiFi not auto connecting after extended periods of deep sleep.

Question. CWM has always been the "official CM supported" recovery through CM11. Does this hold true for CM12? On the unofficial builds I would get messages about fixing root upon reboot. The last version I know of is 6.0.5.0. The messages do not appear in TWRP. If CWM is still preferred is the a later version out for the I545? If not then I guess this is another issue to report. I prefer CWM and want to come back to it.
I haven't experienced yellow tint whatsoever with official and euroskanks builds. My only thing is that MMS is wonky. And Bluetooth will shut off WiFi momentarily while trying to connect.
So, that blue light on boot is pretty annoying. On the 1/10 build, it wouldn't go off after boot, or a reboot. I finally had to send myself emails until it triggered a new notification, and clearing the email turned off the light.

Pretty sure the Compass hasn't worked on ANY ROM in the last couple of years.. or I am just flashing the wrong ROMs. I think Samsung dropped the ball on this one. But if anyone can fix, it's @invisiblek No pressure!!

Is the blue light really that big of a deal when the phone is booting up?? My blue light stops the moment the phone is finished booting. I think this is the least of our problems right now.

Yes, Sammy did drop the ball on the compass. Many devs of third party apps talked about it with the release of 4.4. It was firmware related to the magnetic sensor and has never been truly fixed. It was big news too. There were articles about it on G+, at Andriod Central, and other places, too.
And for the blue led at boot, if it is now borked it should be fixed. Granted it is the least of the issues but it is an issue none the less. File a report at JIRA for the CM12 nightly regressions and be sure to include a logcat. If no one cares about the smaller issues then the bigger ones may seem less important, too. The compass is a good example of this. This report was created for CM11 and is still open today. Many people reported compass issues in the CM11 thread and I linked this jira report in the thread when I created it but very few others added info to it.
https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/plugins/servlet/mobile#issue/NIGHTLIES-258
This thread is a great place, don't get me wrong. It gives us a place to post up and talk about our issues and any workarounds we find. The developers may also visit it from time to time as well but these forums are not their main "go to place" for bug reports. There are too many forums out there. BUT, if you really want to improve the chance of fixing something it should be reported where it will be tracked. Who knows, maybe there is a place over at Sammy where people can report about the compass. I would like to think they are aware of it but.........
I am not saying to flood jira with a bunch of stuff. There are guidelines for how jira works, what it is for, and what to include in a report. Be smart about it and it can benefit everyone. If something is posted to jira and is missing required items, is not in the proper format, or is not kept up with it will be closed so don't think it can be reported and forgotten.
Invisiblek may be the maintainer for the GS4 but he is not assigned every issue for it, especially if the issue affects more than just the SGS4. Some issues go more widespread because of what component of CM they affect.
I'm guessing that the boot led will get fixed as other things get cleaned up, if not I'll open a JIRA ticket.
The annoying part is that I was reading the gerrit discussion on that when it merged, no one thought it was important except for the unique snowflake who submitted it. It doesn't DO anything. Why do you need a blue led when the screen is going through the boot process? It doesn't have a point except to add more complexity.

Pretty much sums it up. Someone thought it would be cool or whatever so it was added. Other than that it really serves no real point, IMHO.
If course it's entirely possible it lights a different color for diagnosing issues.

Wow, this would be fatastic. So this fixes it so the compass always points north, when standing still, and reports north to applications that access the magnetic compass sensor? Not sure the magnetic compass is at all related to GPS. GPS provides correct direction in the compass when you are moving, but the magnetic compass has been borked forever when you are standing still.

As expected, no affect whatsoever on the compass.
The compass issue is caused by lack of firmware from Sammy.

Is there a site I can download a zip to test using TWRP? If so, where is it?

Make sure you have the right TWRP. The camera won't work. You may download GApps, which supports Android 6.01, before you decide to install CM13.
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU DO CLEAN FLASH THE CM13.ZIP.
You may need backup your data with 3rd party app, e.g. Titanium Backup Pro, to be able to restore to CM13. TWRP may not work as you would expect.

I don't recall anyone reporting that issue. There are numerous versions of cm13 out there. By more than one dev. My experience was better with some of the earlier builds. Feel free to state what app you are using for video and such as it will help. Development has someone slowed because CM may be close to a release themselves. Noone really knows at this point. Some recent changes in CM have caused me to stop trying. Probably another reason the rest have slowed. Feel free to try the camera fix and report back. Again its buggy but does work.

I just flashed the CM 13 Dec. 25 by SHM. The camera app i flashed works well. i took like 10 photos and the all saved. I think i will uninstall the camera app the came with the rom. The video issue normally happens with facebook videos, youtube videos, instagram videos and snapchat videos but it seems to be working now. The snapchat camera does work but it takes about 45 seconds for it to come up after switching between front and rear camera and freezes often. With the instagram camera, it worked the first time i opened the app but wont work after. After about 5 minutes of messing with everything, Every app including the one i flashed says that they cannot connect to the camera and that i should restart the device. hope this helps

Yep. Reboot solves it until it hangs again. It has been tested for a month or so now. Some had better results than others. The camera it flashes works decently. Its just a temp fix into kernel is patched.
Which dev do you think has the best build? and which build is it?
For those wondering about using large SD Cards with MM, if the Mate will read and write to it, it should work fine. I am using this card http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-SDSDQUAN-200G-G4A/dp/B00V62XBQQ and it seems to be working just fine so far. Just got it and moved my stuff over to it today. Its a 200GB card but when formatted by the phone it shows as 183GB which is more than enough for me. I got it when they were running a special on them for $80. Right now they have gone up some as of 12/29 at 11:06 pm the card is selling for $109 with free shipping. For those that want to transfer a lot of music and videos to your phone this might be the card for you.

There are only two developers that I Have found that are make MM ROMS for the Mate two and if you search for them on AFH you can find them. They are Dargu and SHM. I use the builds that Dargu makes because they seem to be updated more Regularly, but you might like the builds made by SHM. I would suggest trying each one and seeing which one you like best and sticking with it or just flash whichever one is the newest at the time. Its basically a personal choice that each person has to make.

Best to stick with root built into the ROM for now.
THANKS!
Sure appreciate the work on a MM rom. 10 years ago, I would have been right in the thick of it, flashing every
new one that came along, but, anymore these things are "just a phone" for me. I've been lucky with mine.
4.3 was stable, 5.1 is stable. The only issue I've had, is that on reboot, the launcher (nova) won't stick, but,
I don't turn it off or reboot but once in a blue moon.
I doubt if we'll see an official MM for the Mate2, but if a really stable one comes along, who knows, I might
give it a try. The camera MUST work for me, since I use it pretty much daily (work images for engineers).

Tweaked out j727perx stockish rom. More to come!

BIG UPDATE, POSSIBLE FINAL BUILD!!!
Code:
I shouldn't have to say it, but when you hit/swipe the install button,
everythings on you. This was made for a J727perx/POPLTESPR, using a boost
mobile phone for testing. If your phone isn't from the suppliers listed in this
post, or you're not using something labeled perx, or are unfamiliar with the
term popltespr, don't try to use it. I won't be crying for anyone. That said, this
should be about as stable a ROM as you get when dealing with ROMs.
The new
J727PVPU3ARC2_MULTI_CERT_LIBERATE_X7s
New Video demonstration below
I wasn't able to make the YouTube link embed, but I hid the video like a good dude.
The video is of the actual zip that I uploaded for the download, you will start with a blue/purpleish light theme, changeable/disable in the theme center. No need to worry, but I always keep an backup of my EFS on the card, just in case.
Zero bloat, fully intact/tweaked system, with no knox.
If you discover some earth shattering problem, let me know, if not, I don't have anymore plans on taking this further. I'm flashing my personal build as of this post, if you want anything faster...I don't even know where to point you. With the right launcher(see my video of my personal build), and system setup, its scary fast.
Enjoy

Multi_Cert
This ROM should be ready for multiple service providers. It covers Sprint, Boost Mobil, and Virgin Mobil customers, and has built in boot animations for all 3 stock to prove it, along with vendor options. This is what I made the original ROMs with, ARA1 and ARC2. Until I recently reset my PC, and got a bunk Boost AP. All should be as good as everything was in the past builds, before the .3/.4 gen.
Hope you guys enjoy.
Love and Peace, and all that junk.
If you want to make use of my project, then read my sig, I got you covered.
Just downloaded ty bro. I'll let you know how it works out. Heading home now.

We have a gathering of our phones most active members here, lol. Glad you liked it, I was super proud of how these came out.
Updates in the OP. Not that it's that far away from this post.
Man it's phenominal. Flashed this morning, and it's kicking ass and taking names. I can really tell a difference on internet too. Thanks man.
Pc isn't picking up my phone with usb. Do you know what would be the cause? I know adb tether wasn't working already but I need to connect my phone so I can transfer music, pictures ect. I don't have micro/sd slot in pc or I'd just do that.
Also Xposed says it's incompatible and won't let me install. Says it's not compatible with processor ect. This one isn't a deal breaker, just wondering if something might be corrupt on my end somehow..
Turn off USB debugging when you want to use the usb with another device, should link instantly when you turn it off, and break when on. Not that it should, but does lol. I'm going to try something differen't with the xposed, if I make it work, I'll do my planned update with it fixed.
Was going to post an update with my android boot animation, and game over shutdown....could mix a few others, but didn't know if you guys were interested.
Peter had xposed working on our old firmware, so I had it working of course. On the new frimware, for whatever reason, it really hates anything starting with the letter X, I've been on this all day. My solution would be to completely pull xposed, keep the build quality/speed up, and offer custom qmp boot images out of the box. Let me know what you think, or, if you nail xposed, let know about that. I currently have the Android ULHD boot animation, swirling dots into flashing android, and pacman gameover shutdown on mine. I have a bit of a collection I could share, or you can find them on the forms I'm sure, but most don't flash right. Mine work lol. Let me know what you would like.
Probably have to pull xposed from the project, but I can at least add some flare to the roms. I was adding boot animations, and a built in EQ presets built for small speakers. Currently in testing.
Bootanimations are always nice

I could preinstall them, or I might be able to provide animations, and shutdown as seperate flashables, and let you guys do your own? I've been preping all of them for a go, just want to take a look at what I have. I don't have them in zips yet, but I don't thing it'll be too hard. So far I have Android_L_UHD(A/S), Amiga (A/S), Badman (S), PacMan game over(S), NexusBeam(A/S), Matrix(A/S), SamDisco(A), and a few others. There's a post on the forms with them, but they don't work on our phone in there current format.
I might find some videos, or make a little montage, or just get zips together.
In the meantime, I need to update 2.2, at the very least, and my op.
Looks like someone made a video on the thread, and also has the link there. If you flash them, it only affects the shundown, if anything.
UPDATE
Despite my best efforts, xposed did not work out. I pulled it, added more speed(everywhere), and a musicplayer/system FX EQ that work together, but don't like the phone speaker. It's a combination chosen after much testing, and with a decent pair of headphones, makes a very noticeable difference from preset, to bass, reverb, and virtualization. Like most additions, totally free, no adds, and worth adding.
2.2 is the only update, the rest will happen over the next few days, and all will be getting custom boot animations, along with the other mentioned changes.

all download links down for full updating. I'll post when they're back. if it's not a link for X#.3, it wont work. really good stuff coming.
All ROMs have new working boot/shutdown animations, new speed tweaks for almost everything, tested music player/system EQ(not working with system speaker, great with headphones), and, of course thank you peter couniaz for informing me of the importance of the installer, and linking it.
2.3 is up, the rest are syncing, and will be up in the morning, when I get up again.
All ROMs updated to the latest versions. Idon't believe I have anything more for quality or speed, everything is close to perfect while keeping the ROM technically stock. Lineage is still faster, but not by much, for our phone at least, and this looks so much better. Anyway, everyone enjoy the updated ROM, let me know what you think, and if you find any problems.

Finally a dev who knows his works?good work bruh...will try it today
I flashed the X2.3 rom. Nice work, but there are a couple problems. The first thing I noticed was that the Xposed framework was installed during rom installation. The app is removed, but the framework is still installed. The next problem that I ran into was that a secured lockscreen takes a really long time to unlock (approximately 10 seconds).

I'm uploading 2.3 with the proper installer, I don't know how 2.3 was the only one to not get it. All others are fine, probably because 2.3 was the first updated. I'm working on figuring out the lock screen issue. I've checked so much that I'm running out of ideas. I'll update the download in the op with the new link once it's synced. Which will be like 10 minutes lol. Sorry about the lock screen, it permeates through to my final build it seems.

I just installed the latest version of 2.3. This one had the framework and the installer. However I have no data because it is recognizing it as a Sprint device instead of a virgin mobile device.
now that's interesting. I'm going to make another 2.3, in like 30ish minutes, and pm you a link to see if its fixed, sorry. The rom backs up efs at least. Brb
