Is there any chance that I could mirror my S III screen on my PC, just like allshare cast dongle mirror your screen on your TV? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try this mirrorop.com/product_Android_Sender.html

I've tried MirrorOP, but the problem is that the transmitting device must be Root.
Is there any program available a mirroring Asus Transformer or SGS3 and sent this data to MK802 Android TV?

thx for the thread
wanted to mirror my sgs2 thx for the thread and the guy for posting info about mirrorop send

I use VMLite VNC Server. You have to buy it though. It works great! I use it to text using Watsapp on my Mac. :good:

Does anyone know of one that automatically connects to the phone without having to launch the app on the phone first? Maybe it being a background app listening for a connection?
I tried VMlite but it seems to make my phone lag while running.

Try Mobizen.
I don't think it streams sound though and only runs at about 10 frames a second. But you can control your phone without starting the app...AND it works over 3G/4G as well as wifi.
It also only seems to be in portrait mode.

I've got a hd ready tv, it's got a usb port at the back, but thats for services only, it's not a smart tv and I havent got DNLA....
Either buy a smart Blu-ray player or wait a few weeks for the Allshare cast dongle.
i posted in another thread, but I use the allshare cast on my tv/phone, or at least try to. The app on my tv freezes when trying to enter music or video folder. what gives?
Works perfectly for me, wireless to the tv and wireless to the SGS3.
Even use the SGS3 instead of my remote too.

Stream movies from Phone to Samsung TV wireless? (How to)

Hi guys, just bought a Samsung smart TV and I wanted to know if and how could I stream movies from my phone to the TV Wireless.
I'm currently running Cm9. If there is an app required can someone upload it please.. thanks
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
You need all share to stream stuff on your smart tv. I don't know if all share works with CM9 though. All share is included in the stock Rom, so maybe if you ask somebody he/she will extract it for you do you can try it on CM9
it works on stock
Dont know about CM9, but with the stock rom, you just need to make sure your TV and Phone are connected to the same wifi and then you play your file on your phone. A symbol at the top of the stock player shows a 'choose your player' dialogues and then you choose your TV. Its starts playing either instantly or with a prompt on your tv, depending on your tv setup. I have mine set to auto accept. Works with photos and videos. I have tried with 1080p movies and it works without a problem.
Tv is LG LM670T. 3d smart. its gorgeous
I think most recently manufactured tv hs dlna.
Just search your tv model on Internet then you should be able to find out.
If so, then download bubbleupnp app from play store. You can either set up another server on your computer, which I do, using plex server, which you can download for free for your pc. Or you can use your phone as the server as well.
You can control all the streaming from your pc to your tv or phone to tv right from the bubbleupnp app. Very cool. If you install the extra bubbleupnp server on your computer, you can even stream remotely. Very easy to set up and very cool. Real cool.

If I understand well, you have two options: (1) stock Samsung rom and AllShare Cast (it needs Samsung framework, hence CM will not work) or (2) use DLNA (check if your TV supports it, but I guess so) and one of the apps mentioned above (which will also work in CM as it should support DLNA).

[Q] screen mirroring to a laptop using wifi direct or dlna?

hi folks
as the title says im after screen mirroring my s3 to my laptop it is equipped with dlna already or maybe wifi direct if its possible! according to what i read on the net it is possible to mirror s3's screen to a pc using dlna but i have no luck yet! when i scan with allshare app it does see my laptop i registered it with allshare play it sees it as an active online pc but refuses to stream music, pictures or video let alone screen mirroring!. do you think i should download a dlna server app? if so which is the best one? coz i have downloaded one called tvtrivia or something but it didnt help..
im from UK so i have the international version of s3 with original stock samsung rom on.
i have gone thru the forums but i didnt not come cross any thread about this apart from one that is about allshare cast which involves an extra hardware!
im very surprised though as i thought many people would be interested in screen mirroring!
what do you guys think about screen mirroring? anyone have made any research about this or even tried? what is your experience?
bump, also interested in this
yep - and me!
Airdroid can do basic screen mirroring but it runs at a low fps rate of ~1fps. MirrorOP is also the same I presume. I wish the was a solution for this using wifi, widi or even usb connection. That way I can easily play games with my phone as a remote or as a wheel substitute in teaching games lol.

I use MirrorOp and works well. The frame rate is high and videos work well through it. The sender app costs $9.99 (~£6.43) for unlimited use.

[Q] Is there a way to share my GS2's display to my TV over WiFi?

I have a Samsung Smart Tv 46inch Full HD. I want to see the phone's display on the Tv over WiFi. The Tv has Wifi capabilities but not bluetooth. Also, I have tried using the microUSB; but it only lets me browse the sdcards. I don't have a microHDMI cable, hence I'm looking for a solution over WiFi. So, is there an app that can share my S2's display to my Smart Tv over WiFi?
Thanks in advance!

Miracast or wireless display.

As TEGRA 3 supports Miracast I was wondering how to use it with the prime. Any ideas?
And also, is there any other good way to stream the prime's display directly to a TV, wireless.

This forum is getting dead. good questions going on unanswered..
the prime comes with anynet by asus that does exactly this.
Sv: Miracast or wireless display.
Well, how to you play to something then? Because I can only seem to play to my Prime. There is a play to button, but the only alternative is the tf201. And also that wouldn't share the screen to a tv, or would it?

both devices need to be on the same network for starters. My samsung plasma needed to agree to the connection first and that was somewhere in the tv settings then it showed up as an option in the play to menu. My new Vizio does not come with that functionality though. I does however still play the files from my prime using its own menu as I have enabled the sharing of media files wehn the mynet software came up asking for permission. So there are a couple of ways the connection can be made to play your media on your tv from your prime.

If the device is DLNA compatible then use Skifta. I find it far easier.

There is a lot of difference between dlna and miracast.
Dlna = Prime can share files that other devices can see and play...
Miracast = mirroring what u see on prime to any tv.
With miracast, u can Play games like temple run by watching your tv, but still swiping on ur tablet.
To op's qn...Miracst will be supported with 4.2 android version.. i think statement has been made by nvidia as well confirming this for tegra 3. Google.
All u need is a netgear ptv3000 device hooked onto yout tv that will wirelessly connect with your tablet.

Ah, ok that's a bit sad then.
About the dongle. if I have one, my tv doesn't need dlna. Right? Also do you know if the prime/tablet will send data to the dongle constantly or are you able to decide when to do that?

Prime does not support miracast yet , so dont know.
Samsungs allshare cast works damn nice for screen mirroring. You can pair the dongle with the tablet and start stop mirroring anytime you like. I have a note 10.1 tablet and galaxy s3, and I mirror them both on tv to play games watch movies.
Dlna is different than miracast... once I can mirror, I dont think u will need dlna that much.
I am banking that samsung allshare cast, miracast and intel widi will all merge into one protocol, and it would be lovely then.

Yeah, mirroring will eliminate my need of dlna. The Samsung all share is a Great solution though it only works with samsung products as you need the all share framework. And I dont think you can get around that.

My friend just discovered this feature. He was able to push photos he was viewing on his s3 phone to his Panasonic plasma TV wirelessly. So the underlying protocol that Samsung uses must work with other manufactures.

Yes sir.
This feature is called dlna. S3 has allshare play that is dlna.
Can your friend play a game on s3 and u watch his screen play on tv? That is screen mirroring.

Yes it does work with other manufacturers but right now you'll need a samsung device which is running a Sammy rom to use the allshare app. Though dlna is a really nice feature
