[Q] can someone get the shutter less camera - Motorola Photon 4G

Can some grab that apk and see if it works on ics roms. I would enjoy having it until JB was more or less stable

the shuterless camera has been available for a long time. go get it yourself from jokers cm9 rom or something. if you're running GB it won't work. 4.0+

[Q] what rom do you use?

I know that you aren't allowed to have "whats the best rom threads" but i am curious about the p500 community on who uses what rom. Like how many people are still on gingerbread and how manny people moved to ics
I'm just curious
oh yeah its the rom you are using NOW
i don't care if mik cm7 was your favorite and that you used it for a year until yesterday and you switched to ics
choose ics
ICS

If you want an accurate response, you should do this weekly because most of us test new versions of roms as soon as they come out and that can be a big "market changer".

Does the ics leak can help to have a better jb rom?

Im dont know enought about this, but Ive seen jb running and its really smooth, i would like to have jb on my phone.
Does this leak help devs for build jb android version???

Very likely, yes.
Try th3Bill's CNA 3.6.6 JB build. Unless you love using the camcorder, you'll be a happy guy.

Needing answers about ROMS (I'm a noob)

So I've got CM7 installed would I have to somehow remove the previous ROM before installing another one?

imo if you dont mind a crappy battery life, laggy camera and no fingerprint you should be fine, if not, none of the 4.0 , 4.1 based roms will work for you , not till the devs figure out the zoom kernel +libs port stuff , i recommend you a good 2.3.6 based rom , imo neutrino is the most solid one, again that's just my humble opinion, but you can try out and see for yourself to compare

Thank you good sir I'll try out neutrino

use topsmarts GB rom... very good battery life, stable, fast... near perfect!!!!!

S-Voice apk?

Could anyone point me in direction of a fully functional s voice?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
if you are looking for a fully functional svoice for a jb rom, you wont find one, since it really works best on ICS roms...
it will sometimes sort of work on a jb rom, but not like it does on an ics rom..
Vlingo beta, in the market, generally works better on jb roms, but even that doesn't work 100% of the time..
If you flash Flapps ICS rom, in his tools app, he includes a properly functioning svoice app
Could you link me DL or the thread to flapps ROM? Thanks

[Q] Best JellyBean 4.2.2 rom?

What is the best Vibrant jb 4.2 rom?:cyclops::cyclops:
Its a matter of an opinion. Slim bean is nice and small. Cyanogenmod well its pretty much the original. Avatar is the ROM that is not only extremely customizable (miui) it also can have have ota updates. Root box(my port) is fast and pretty stable with built in pie. Cyanaosp(also my port) is meant for gaming and runs hardcore games pretty well. If I left any ROMs out I'm sorry I just named what came to my head
If I helped you, hit the thanks button!
