Xperia S AOKP ROM or ROMControl - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi there,
I wonder does the Xperia S got an AOKP ROM? I am using the latest CM9 ROM and really hope It could have features like AOKP. ie. thoes quick buttons in the notification panel.
I have searched that was an AOKP Rom development but it has been halted at the alpha0 version, which I cannt flash it at all.
Or is there any ways that I can customrize my SystemUI.apk like the one in AOKP?
Thanks in advance.

For know we don't have aokp roms, but K900( dev) is working on it and he is waiting for fxp team to release sources.

One of the roms, I think it's kasspeed10, has the buttons. I reccomend not going to 10.2, it's a bit buggy.

I'm waiting for CM10 to become stable. Once most of the things are working, team FXP will release the source and I'll have AOKP in no time.

[Q] Will we get MIUI 4 on our Ace ?

Hi !
I was using Maclaw's CM9 since alpha3 but a few days ago I tried MIUI GB by team Cooper and I definitely love it.
I'm wondering if, when Maclaw's CM9 will be in a stable stage, will we have a port of MIUI4?
Thanks guys
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA
We already have an MIUI 4 port by TeamCooper
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?
Miui GB was by Team Cooper NOT team adreno!!
Will you guys continue working on MIUI4.
Cause Afaik the updates stopped.
Maybe will continue when camera get fixed?!

Looks like the thread was deleted. The link I had in my favorites take me to an error.
Below is a link from a Brazilian forum where I created a thread to follow the development of this ROM. I updated the thread until beta 5, that was the last version they made (I guess).

Hope they will continue their work. MIUI is so cool for theming.
Also guys, do you think AOKP CM9 is a good deal between performances and customization ? Or should I keep Miui Gb ?

Ok thanks guys. Any feedback about AOKP ? I think I'll wait for CM9 to be stable and MIUI4 to be out before flashing to a new rom. But I guess as soon as CM9 will be stable, plenty of roms will born and it'll be GB's dead... IMHO.

CM9 / CM10

Howdy,
Since our source code has been released, do you guys think our Rezound will officially supported by the CM team soon?

someone will either need to get a rezound or someone like chad or dmeadows would need to apply to be a maintainer which i dont think they will do. We will probably get unofficial cm10 in time and maybe even more unofficial cm versions (cm11?) when they come out.

yep what poison said. its posible if we can find a maintainer but for now as long as we sync with source and put out builds they are stable enough to call them builds. lol
chad is working on his kernel, but he is a busy man, so give it some time. ants lenoob build is awesome as far as cm9 goes. And Neo and i are working on making a build bot for nightlies for AOKP
Hoping!
I love the simplicity and speed of CM so much I'd pay $50 to someone who could get it officially supported. Lol. That's s much as I actually paid for the phone!

I would love aokp cm10.1. When I used an older version when it first came out, it had the lowest ram usage I'd ever seen on cm10.1. So I say yay to it.

You are quite confused cm10.1 and aokp jb are two different roms
So there cannot be an aokpcm10.1
First Complete With the Ongoing ROMS
I mean no offense here. Why don't we let him to complete with the tasks he is already on?
He finished CM9 but still a few bugs left. Currently, he is concentrating more towards S3 Mini. That doesn't mean(as he says, I have not abandoned Ace) he has forgotten Ace Users, yet finishing off the pending work would always be perfect.
He is giving the best he can so not to mess up with more new stuff.
Unless the mclaw guys are thinking about removing ad fly on their website, they are not welcome on XDA and are not to use the forums to advertise their work or draw users to their site.

Why so many 4.2.1 builds for xu when 4.2.2 is well-adopted

Sorry about such a long title. The question is mainly aimed at developers. At the moment (correct me if I am wrong) 4.2.2 by team Canjica is the latest working cyanogen-based rom for xu. It has not been updated in a while and there are no major working builds out by other devs with 4.2.2, although 4.1s are quite a few and are updated fairly regularly. What is the catch and will this situation likely change? Why do people not fork from Canjica's progress? All but front cam is functional.

Probably because 4.1 are based on Sony stock rom, while 4.2.2 is based on CM and build from source and require a lot more work.

4.2.2 daily use here - seems ok save for front cam and can't account for bluetooth as I'm not using it. It is just as I understand development - it is building on the best towards even better and right now we do have a fairly solid 4.2.2 with sources, meanwhile people keep using earlier stuff for their roms also cyano-based. I'm only hoping everyone is waiting for a 4.4 to go hot.

[Discussion] Omni ROM for our Rezound

A lot of talk the past few days have been about a new ROM in the making. Omni ROM. Seems very promising. I hope someone could brunch it for us. OFC it is still in infancy, so bugs are expected until ironed out. This new ROM team is so official, XDA gave them their own sub forum.

IF anybody can get omni working it would probly be neo. But hes busy with all his new roms so it might be some time before it reaches the rezound

If you wish, base your rom off Vanir's source. I'm pretty much their official maintainer for the device. Just give proper credits. You can find my thread over at MikMik.
Eclipse would be cool... Heard Nitro is building a version for the One, maybe you could base it off of that?
