32gb Sony S on Woot for $259 - Sony Tablet S

I just ordered one and really excited. I have been researching and was torn over which tablet to get - balancing cost with performance and value.
To my surprised Woot made it very easy for me to decide. Payed extra for overnite shipping so it will be in my hands Monday for less than 300 bucks, brand new btw.

Since it includes the dock, I picked one up too. Not sure what I am going to do with it, but I already had free shipping for the day from buying something else.
Worse comes to worst , I could use it to replace the Chumby/Dash that doesn't work anymore. Though the lousy interface and overall experience with that still gave me pause; but still, the price seemed right.

Oh yea, forgot to add that it comes with cradle too.
Yes, the retail price took this tablet out of the running for me, but at 260 it is spot on...

Wow I would buy a bunch and sell on ebay for that price kept its really not the price to buy one

Did you get charged exactly $250 for it?
That's more tolerable than $300...but still a rip-off considering there's still no ICS for it.

They don't deliver on the weekend. 250.00 is a bargain since they don't charge tax.

Seeing all of the people that have swapped theirs and wonder about that. Are you concerned about sending it back for a new one? Or is that not an option? Can you just take it to ATT store?

$250 or $300 is still a rip off weather it has ICS or not! Beside the way ics has been on other devices and from some reviews I don't really think its gonna be anything spectacular. Gonna be another "I waited this long for this?!" Type of deal. I really don't think its gonna be much of a game changer

Depending on where you work you can get the Note at a killer price if they offer an equipment discount. Mine was super cheap.

If you have unlimited data Amazon will not grandfather you in.
What's the catch? Do I need to be a AT&T customer? Sign a contract? It can't be $250 outright with no strings attached.

Lol comments like these are dumb. Rip off? Like you can find a gnote for cheaper? Unlike your cheap arse, SOME of us are willing to spend that amount for a phone. ICS? please...theres no official high end ICS US phone besides the gnexus thats out yet. Idiots think a phone isnt "worth" or it lacks because it doesnt have ICS. Heres some news for ya...some of us actually like/enjoy GB. Go get a F'in clue.
-On another NOTE, Samsung goes 5.3"
The 16GB is internal memory. It doesnt come with an actual micro SD card.

Nice to finally have a good phone again

God I'm glad to be on this phone. Had the original Dinc way back in the day, upgraded to the DInc2 the day it came out. Grabbed the Rezound on launch day too, but since then I've been through a total of 8 replacement Rezounds, all for various reasons. I missed the form factor of the Dinc2, the Rezound was big and heavy. Bought the Dinc4G on launch day at full retail, and man am I glad I did. Phone is super responsive, battery time is so much better, and the camera is far snappier. It fits in my pocket better, doesn't get hot, and call quality is fantastic.
If you are on the fence about this device, grab it and don't look back.

prob close to the $540.
actually not bad when you consider what you are getting.
my dad actually traded in two old Icrapples, and paid like $100 to get the inc4 full price.
he is def happy, and he is hard to please, but once I show him how android can be edited to whatever he wants he will be sold, i think he already is. inc4 kicks ass.

Condition pending ...
If the device has been "fully and properly" returned to stock software, and is in excellent cosmetic condition...
Then $200 may be a bit low..
But if you sell it rooted ....and it has a few scratches or marks on the bezels or screen, then $200 is fair.
Of course, it really comes down to the right buyer, and what they are willing to pay.
And for the record, I am an advocate of honest dealing between buyer and seller.
Nothing makes a person more upset than buying blind, and having their trust betrayed...
So if any issues exist with the device, disclose them up front ...IMHO ....g
Appreciate the advice and i believe in the same. ill ask the buyer what they want rooted or not. and I'd return it to stock. Also I'm throwing in 2 cases and a spare extended battery.

$200 is on the low end for a one in great condition.
You'll know if its too low if you get a lot of hits for it (Craigslist) and people want to buy it immediately.
Why go through the extra steps of rooting it? To me that makes the phone look like its been run through the ringer...

I would think thats a good price , BUT.. it's 2 weeks before Christmas....
People need their dough for other holiday giving.
It's going to sell when the right prospect sees it...
Youde probally have better luck getting more money if you wait till after the holidays..
when folks are ready to spend money$ on them selves..
IMHO.. good luck
yes, yes it is.to low.. but its market sell value.. here in bc canada 300$ is the bottom price.. but no one is buying when you can sign up for a 3 year and get a new note 2 for 200$

True, but its hard to get that price locally when people will constantly compare your price to the latest phone.
What i heard once; S4 is coming out so you should drop the price on your S2.

The only thing that would drive me away is I don't like reserve auctions. Instead of playing the hidden reserve game with your potential buyers, just be up front with them and set your starting bid at the very least amount you would accept (around $600-$625 I would imagine?), and set the Buy It Now price at the high end of what other eBay sellers are actually selling their phones for. Just my opinion of course. This will also weed out the less serious bidders who will try to low-ball you. If you're worried about missing out on bids, do you really want people who won't pay $600+ bidding on your phone, when you know damn well it will sell for at least that amount?
One more thing - be prepared to give a prospective buyer the IMEI number off your phone (if they ask for it) so they can check to see if it's on the AT&T black list. Of course, I'm not implying you're a thief or anything. I just had a friend that bought a used AT&T iPhone off of Craigslist. When he went to activate it, AT&T wouldn't do it because it had been reported as stolen, and I think the carriers share this list nowadays. So he now basically has a wifi-only iPod touch that no carrier will touch.
Noted, and changes made. Thanks for the tip. I hope my first time selling something on eBay goes over well lol.

Wow I didn't know that. Doing a quick google search, this looks to be a brand new change that eBay implemented on May 1st. You might re-think my strategy then. I didn't know they forced you to do that now. I'd feel bad if I screwed up your auction.
Yeah but I mean... Most retail places it's $600-700 plus I'm throwing in $100 urbeats that are HTC branded. I'm just gonna see what happens.

I have done well selling my phone's using buy it now or best offer. I usually list it for $50 over what I actually want. At $725 I imagine you would get offers for st least 650 if not more. If you can throw in a case along with those head phones you will get some pretty good offers. I had a job selling stuff on EBay for 3 years and rarely ever did an auction. If you really want to do a timed auction make it end on a Sunday night at around 9pm eastern time.

$55 if you sell for $550.
And if you use paypal they will take a percentage as well. I sold my old HTC one x+ on ebay after not using them for years and was shocked at how much they took from me on the purchase. I sold the phone for $365 and after fees from ebay (~$38) and paypal (~$15) I lost 15% in fees. My fault I should of checked their new policy but never again

Ideas for L9 giveaway?

I recently pre-ordered a 32gb oppo N1! They began shipping the 16gb models on the 10th, but for some reason they aren't filling orders for the 32gb model yet. :-\ Very disappointed because they did not advise me of this when placing my order and I was expecting mine to ship on the 10th! They did however advise me on the 10th that they weren't filling 32gb orders until further notice. I did notice on the website you can only add the 16gb one to your cart, when you switch specs to the 32gb model it has no option to add to cart. Anyways back on track! I am considering giving my L9 away to some lucky developer to help the community! That way they can do some serious testing without the fear of ruining their phone or wasting their money! The only issue I'm having is figuring out how to know I'm giving it to a person that will actually use it for that purpose and not just use/sell it for their personal benefit. Plus the actual task of selecting the person! I'm hoping you guys can give me some ideas on figuring this out! Let me know your ideas and what you think!
