Hi ch3mn3y,
It has been a while since i have used an ics rom, but if the bootanimation is in /system/media, then yes it should work. Remember to backup existing bootanimation, if it didnt work for some reason just delete new bootanimation and rename old one to bootanimation.zip and reboot.

I can confirm that this works with stock Jelly Bean (rooted obviously). Just replace /system/media/bootanimation.zip (backup original first!).
You'll need to make sure the permissions are the same as the orignal (644) otherwise it won't pick it up and you'll end up with the default 'shiny android' boot animation.

Using black (grey) on stock jb. Its better than stock bootanimations. Thanks

Yeah, i've changed the bootanimation of my xperia play and have read guides online instructing how you can change your bootanimation without rooting but it doesn't seem to work for me. I may have been doing something wrong and thought i might ask to see if it's possible. Thanks for the answer.

Hi,
Unless something else has been changed, it should simply be an edit to the arrays.xml file in /res/values once you decompile framework-res.apk
Look for the section "status_bar_icon_order" and the default order is:
Code:

clock

alarm_clock

battery

phone_signal

phone_evdo_signal

data_connection

bluetooth

gps

So the original flash works for me when using frankin-twiz final. I decompiled the framework-res.apk using apk manager 4.8 modified the arrays.xml like you said, (funnily enough its just completely backwards) compiled it back up, signed it and moved it back to system/framework using root explorer. The order is corrected, but as soon as I unlock it it fc's all over the place. Anything I'm doing wrong?

[THEME] Ice Cream Sandwhich[4.0.2.A.0.42]

UPDATE: This is an on-going project! By me!
A lot more is done in a more recent fix i have completed.
I'm also not responsible if you brick your phone, or mess it up in anyway, if you don't know how to replace system apk's and the framwork.apk don't you shouldn't be attempting to install this, i'm not going to tell you how as there is plenty of topics/threads on this.
This is for STOCK rom only.
Version: 4.0.2.A.0.42
What I have done/included:
. Replaced the SE icons with that from ICS,
. Status bar is partially themed to resemble ICS.
. Settings has had some icons replaced.
. Camera looks a bit more ICS style.
. Theres a zip containing the ICS/ Galaxy Nexus ringtones/notifications/alarms/UI sounds.
. Theres a folder with 2 ICS wallpapers and the ICS icons and some icons resembling the folders icon in ICS
.Toast notifications are now ICS style.
.Some notification icons are now ICS style (messages, gmail)
.Tick boxes and scrolle along the right hand side is now ICS style
.ICS overscroll glow.
.Headers are now ICS style
.Contact boarders are now ICS.
.Clock & Date is now ICS coloured.
. NOtifications title and description is now White (readable) some 3rd party apps may still have difficult to read text on the black background, that is down to the app itself not my theme.

Total noob here, but why can't Neo use Theme Chooser? Coming from X8, changing themes is a no-brainer...
works fine on my Xperia neo 4.0.2.A.0.42
it´s cool but the notification bar could have changed something.
can you modify the SistemUI.apk?
Let's hope it will compatible with Se tweaked, I like this mod. It would be awesome with this ICS theme!

Btw, here how it looks like -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1CJoU_uq6w
battery indication is not changed, is green yet
How install?
Why refuse the installation by recovery ??
When the installation shows the installation aborted
Is it compaitable with SE tweaked? How to install? Just replace the files?
Great work! I have a question though. What do I need to do if I only want these new blue icons+ blue clock and nothing else? I want everything to stay stock except for these icons.
I downloaded your theme and thought about just taking the SystemUI and Framework.apk and putting them on my phone... but I guess I'm gonna get a whole lot of other changes too, if I just replace the stock SystemUI.apk and the framework.apk with the ones you've modified?
So basically I need some help with finding the easiest way for me to only get these new blue icons + blue clock and keep everything else as it is.

Blue Transfusion Theme Tab Edition for Overcome 8.9 Series V 2.2.0 - P7310 WIFI VERSION [1/18/2012]
I made this theme for my Samsung Epic 4g Touch and decided to make a version for our tabs. Just like my previous theme, a lot of images are ported from other themes and roms. I have more things that I would like to do to this theme, but time is not always on my side. So far I have the Framework, SystemUI, Settings and Launcher themed. I will try to get more done when I have some free time. Hope you all enjoy.

[Request]Original Xperia Arc Keyboard (2.3.4 .42) Themed to black.[Solved!]

Would anyone please theme the original Xperia Arc keyboard to black?
I really like this keyboard..but I would love to have it in black.
Hope anyone would help.
Thanks to anyone willing to help.
I'd say, just wait a month for the Xperia S The keyboard there is themed in black, and will probably be backported very fast once the software gets out in the wild.
Back when I was working on the X10, I had made this ROM which includes a themed black keyboard extracted from the Arc 2.3.4 firmware. You can download the ROM and get it from the zip. I would do it for you but I'm not on my PC right now.
Thanks!

Hey! Just tried with one of kormatoes keyboard mod, and it works perfectly. You have to bring the textinput-tng.apk from the folder system/app and paste it in you phone's system/app folder, changing the permissions of the apk to rw-r-r! Then just reboot your phone...tried just now to check and everything works.

everything's working properly, even download links. Tried it 15 minutes ago
thanks for sharing this mod. It would be great if you could make this black bar little transparent for homescreen (i think it would be nicer).

As author said, this mod apply changes only to few images listed in first post. If you have root, you can find those images and exchange them manually. Anyway there is great tutorial how to get cwm and root for jb. I used it and now I can install things like this via cwm.

Thanks a lot. +1
Worked for my JB V20B. But got bit scared as the phone started updating apps saying "Android is upgrading, Optimizing app 20 of 46"
Such message comes after OTA or flashing kdz. Bit scary, but after full restart everything was fine and statusbar showing dark black.
Thanks
Worked like a charm. This looks sexy
Worked perfectly and looks great on P769 (stock rooted 10G)

I'm getting errors while compiling LGSettings.apk (I have frameworks installed, everything should be good... I don't have problems with other apks..)
Here is log, maybe someone who knows something about it can help me

Best way to have look like stock JellyBean is to install custom rom (CM10.1 / PACman / something like this ).
I'm using pacman now and I'm happy with it
