Apple Tv Mirroring ?? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
As you can understand from the topic is there anyway that we can mirror home screen ( like on the iPhone ) to the apple tv from SGS3?
There are apps can do media mirroring, such as doubletwist air sync, but i am not lookin' that kinda software.
I am looking for mirroring my screen wireless to apple tv to play Nova, TDKR, Fifa, Mc3 kinda stuff.
Thanks.

hi
Think the allshare cast dongle is what you need, that mirrors the s3 to a tv.
Is that what you want to do?

That is a nice suggestion but,
what i need is a software for mirroring for apple tv ( cause i already have too much stuff plugged to my tv)
thanks...

[Q] connecting to samsung tv

i just got the tab through bestbuy because it came with my new 3d smart tv. Bestbuy says "Your Samsung smart TV and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 can connect with each other for the ultimate home theater experience. Easily control your TV with your Galaxy Tab and view your Tab content (photos, videos, content from the "Cloud," etc.) on your larger HDTV screen.". Does anyone know how? lol. maybe a stupid question but i cant find it anywhere
I have a Samsung tv, serie 6 so they should be able to cooperate. I made a connection through USB cable but when I wanted to see pictures onthe tv from my tab, the tv wouldn't accept the tab. So I'm also curious ;-)
I imagine that this should be done with Samsung's 'Allshare' software, however it's not currently supplied with the Touchwiz software on the Tab.
If Allshare isn't available in the app store, then look for iMediashare or any other DNLA capable app. I'm assuming the TV is a "Smart" one, and connects somehow to your home network. Now look for a Media Link app/option on the TV. Run the DNLA app on your tablet, then run the Media Link app on the TV. The TV should see the tablet and any other media share devices that are on yor network. Pick either local or web content from your tablet, and the tablet should be able to send it to the TV.
I do this with my LG Smart TV. I'm working on the assumtion that all the Smart TVs are somewhat similar, despite being from different companies.
Good luck. It's a joy when it works.

No luck finding Allshare or iMediashare in the US market.
Samsung has a remote app that works okay, just not sure of the need for it.
Any other suggestions?
Twonky Mobile demo version works for me, although I can't say I've tried watching movies with it just yet.
Edit: Videos do play.

[Q] mirror feature ?

hey guys and girls just need some clarity on the mirror feature for the galaxy s 3.
can I mirror everything on my screen like , Internet and apps like YouTube ?
I know you can mirror videos , pics and play music over Dlna but really want to use my tv screen to surf the net and watch YouTube videos using the YouTube app, I have a Samsung smart tv but the you tube app on that is so bad.
thanks guys
That's an interesting question I'd also like to know I guess you should be able to mirror everything from the S3.
I don't have a smart tv so I will be getting the wifi to hdmi accessory. That replicates the screen so everything will show up.

[Q] Allshare cast?

Is Allshare Cast supposed to be available for the SGS3? I can't find it anywhere in the menus. I was hoping to be able to share my phone screen on my tv like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oY-pni6KToc
For anyone else looking for info on this topic I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678135. @aussie2sweden, many believe the dongle may not be necessary if you have a DNLA SmartTV from Samsung, the dongle merely being for TV's without that support. Do you have any support for you comment that the dongle is necessary? I have googled it and find no such supporting documentation.
Update: Samsung site says coming soon http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxys3/feature.html#allsharecast
google it..

Allshare Cast is an addon dongle you need to buy.
You cant use the DLNA in the S3, with your existing DLNA render in your TV.. to mirror your screen..
to mirror your screen like in that video you must purchase either the Allshare Cast Dongle going on sale soon, or a MHL HDMI adaptor..
Has anyone read when the Allshare Cost dongle will be available??

ALLSHARE Cast Dev request

I wonder if anyone has thought about having a go at writing an alternative to allshare Cast, it works with the dongle and so it should really with with any Wifi enable TV. There are millions of SGS3 out there, I dare say this app would make a fair few quid for all those with smart tv's - personally i'd happily pay upwards of £20 to have an app that could reliably mirror my android screen to my smart TV over wifi.

[Q] Want to stream video from phone to Vizio Smart TV

Hey guys, does anybody know of an app or a method that will allow me to stream video (not YouTube or Netflix) to my Vizio Smart TV? It's a really new TV with all kinds of features...I know I could simply hook up my MacBook to an HDMI port or even stream video via Apple TV, but I don't usually have those things in my living room. I'm just basically hoping to be able to stream a movie playing from an app like Showbox(or something similar to) to my TV, without any wiring. Samsung's screen mirroring feature would be ideal...if it wasn't limited to ONLY working with other Samsung products Anyways...please, if you can let me know of anything you've heard of, or have used that might make this possible, it would be greatly appreciated!!:fingers-crossed:
Unless Vizio has some type of app for their TV that I never heard of, there needs to be hardware plugged into the TV that receives the stream. Cheapest and easiest way to do this with android is a Chromecast, $35 bucks, I believe it can or soon will be able to fully mirror your screen no special root app required.
you can use the mdl to hdmi adapter from Sammy and keep a spare (but hidden) hdmi cable plugged into the tv. As far as wireless Chromcast
Did you find a solution?
Did you find an App solution for this? I recently purchased a Vizio and looking for the same?
Can some one help me play videos from phone to my vizo 70 inch smart tv I've tried everything the closest thing I've come up with is I media share but it doesn't allow me to watch it always states video, audio not supported
You need something on the TV Side - I used Fire TV stick
